Tammy/Mia - I posted for you on Jan/Feb cycle :) Mia - great beta!

I haven't included due dates in the list yet, should I? So far I just have ultrasound dates...

Acapulco - hope you have a fun weekend! I can't wait for all of us to figure out how many little beans!
Suga- I feel the same way, sometimes I don't feel pregnant, I feel under the influence of meds! I can't wait to have confirmation!
Jomae- how old is your fist? Was he/she an IVF baby?
geckogirl - how are you feeling?
moonk - welcome!! I am so sorry to hear about your previous loss, I really pray that this is our miracle year!
21bat-welcome! you are in the right place! The nuchal test is between 11 and 14 weeks and it measures the fold of tte neck and then gives you a percentage risk, it is non-invasive, so we want to do that first and then depending on the results we will do amnio or not. I get scared of amnio but it is the only 100% test. There is a 1 in 200 or 1 in 400 chance of miscarrying with amino depending on how good the clinic is. I had a friend who did the nuchal, had high risk, then did aminio and found out her baby had T-18 (sorry I don't remember the full name) so there was a 100% chance the baby would suffer and die in the first year so she terminated it. It is very sad but I do want to do tests cause I could not endure seeing my baby suffer for so long. It is such a hard choice, you should discuss it all with your OB, I will. Nuchal I think gives you a 80-90% certainty. Also beware of flase positives with bloodwork, I read a lot about those.
Loopie- get some rest! are you taking it easy?
Hopin- thanks for the twins dust!!!! :D :D
Kellym - great beta!!! next week is not here soon enough!!!

WELCOME andnichole WoW, TWINS!!! That is exciting. I bet you are soooo thrilled.

WELCOME Moonk and also CONGRATULATIONS!!

WELCOME Bat21 and CONGRATULATIONS to you too!!

WELCOME Sugabeanz and also CONGRATULATIONS!!!

If I missed anyone I AM sorry. There are so many more of us joining each day it's hard to keep track.

Wow, we've got so many new girls on here with BFPs. This is so exciting

Well girls, I had a melt down last night. Really cranky with my teenage DD and DH. Easy to cry. Broke out into tears while DH said grace before dinner. I was very nauseous around lunch time so I didn't eat much at all. Just a little pineapple and some carrots. I think maybe I let my blood sugar get too low. After I ate dinner I felt tons better. We had lots of comfort food for dinner. Meatloaf, though I think I put too much salt, mashed potatoes w/ gravy, peas & rolls w/ butter. So I think having a nice plate of hearty foods was what got me back to normal.

My PIO shot went much better last night as well. I think that we may stay on the left side until my appt. on Monday. I went to lunch with DH and when slidding into the booth I lightly hit that spot on my rear. It was on fire for the rest of lunch. So, I really think that he grazed a nerve. He did go a bit lower into the butt cheek as opposed to the hip where he should be. I don't think the pain is so much from getting too many injections. I really don't have knotting or bruising. I tend to only get a bruise if for some reason it starts gushing blood when he takes the needle out. He does pull back on the plunger to make sure he hasn't hit a vein so the gushers are real wierd but they do happen.

How are you girls spending your weekend?? I came home from my teenage DDs volleyball game and took about a two hour nap. I am hoping for a date night out with DH. I want to go see "27 Dresses". Anyone seen it? I heard it is very good. I took the nap so that I can stay up past 9:00 without feeling awful.

I had the worst sleep last night. I woke up constantly feeling like I had to pee, but then I would get up and it would just be a tinkle. I have also been having wierd pulling, stretching, (really can't describe them) pains in my tummy right below my belly button. Not cramping like AF and the frustrating thing about them is I don't remember having them with my DDs. So I got up this morning expecting AF but so far so good. Is anyone else experiencing this? I seem to be fine throughout the day but at night, each night, this type of pains gets worse and worse. Then of course, I get worried about it so I can't go back to sleep and I dwell on it all night.

TammyS Thank you so much for the U/S picture. That is so cool. I hope that you get your shortness of breath issue under control. Do you already have a preexisting condition? I will continue to pray for you.

Hope you girls have a great weekend

Nope Hoekey, it is all new since about the time of starting meds and it has gotten worse this week. I am sorry that you are feeling moody and crappy. I wanta see 27 dresses too. We were gonna go last weekend, but we both had the flu.

Andnichole: That is awesome! Congrats! What was your betas again? I think they were close to mine. They are sorta expecting another sac to show up on ultrasound...it is soooo early...so only 1 so showed up so far.

Rio: Dont you just love dreams like that!? LOL :D

Mia: Your first ultrasound is sooner than my real first one! You lucky girl!
Sorry that your DH didnt get it right at first! I stole your idea and got my DH a #1 Dad shirt and a bib and pacifier with "I love Daddy" on them plus some other stuff for Valentines Day. He was soo proud of them ...he was showing his buddy when he stopped over. LOL

Acapulco: I have had terrible headaches too. I never get them normally.

Suga: I cant wait to hear the results!

Jomae: You're soo right. This is just the beginning of our days full of worry. LOL

Hi Geckogirl: Have a great weekend too!

MoonK: Was your betas 14 days past ER (ovulation) or 14dp3dt ? I am comparing numbers since I just had an ultrasound at 5 weeks 1 day...today. My betas at 14dp3dt so...17dpo was 524 and my second was 1806 at the evening of 18dp3dt or 21dpo. They saw only 1 so far and said another could appear...because it is sooo early yet.

Bat: I have headaches...dizzyness... heartburn...smells...aversions to all foods and no appetite...tired and napping but insomnia too...peeing all the time...memory problems...sore boobs...acne...constipation and the start of hemmorhoids (TMI) but no morning sickness yet! Woohoo. The pharmacist told me that since I am taking an extra complex B vitamin that I may avoid m/s. Vitamin B6 is supposed to be good for m/s.

Hopin: Congrats on the twins!!!

Loopie: Twins would be great!

So glad that we have this thread up and running. It is sooo good to see so much positive energy here! :D

riogirl71 Thanks so much for the charts. Wow, the first two girls with U/S are twins. I think that this is going to be a lucky thread for multiples. Unfortunately I don't think I am going to be one of those lucky ones. But I am very happy with what ever I get.

Tammys It's really cool that you were able to get an early U/S but a little bit of a bummer that it's just too early to see that extra bean in there. I am rooting for you!!! Come on baby #2!!!!! I have been pretty level as far as moods go today, but I MADE myself eat lunch even though I wasn't hungry, I really think that helps.

Well, I had every intention of going out to the movies tonight. But I never managed to get out of my PJs after my nap. Just finished dinner and I really only want to veg out on the couch. I think DH and I will get a pay-per-view instead. "No Reservations" is playing and I wanted to see that too, so that will have to be good enough. He'll probably want an action movie or drama though. I can only get him to watch so many "chick flicks" . We'll go out Monday when I am all full of adreneline after seeing a very healthy heartbeat. Don't think I will get tired out easily after that.

Only two more sleeps until that wonderful U/S.

Happy baby dreams to you all!!

Hi girls
how we all feeling?
Suga you mention not having symptoms all the time it is normal just wait till m/s hits and you'll be wishing you didn't have the symptoms but its definately comforting to have some symptoms to keep it feeling real and safe hopefully the symptoms are mild but enough to know things are still happening hey enjoy your scan it really begins to start feeling real once you can see that little heart beat flickering.

Acapulco i keep dreaming about my best friends arm not her just her arm so yes the dreams are weird i had headaches through the first trimester with ds just make sure no asprin but i'm sure you know that already and drink lots and small snacks throughout the day i found it to help.

Mia 960 beta sounds good and strong i still can't beleive how lucky we have all been hows dh now is it sinkinbg in yet.

tammy how you feeling did you over stimulate i know i had shortness of breath with ds and have a little this time also . what a great scan i framed my first scan and hung it on the wall sounds crazy but we were proud.

21 BAt i'll put in 2 cents about the amnio i wouldn't risk it myself agian don't stress about it unless you have to the nuchal fold scan is great you get to watch your bub for about half an hour i got a full cd of pictures to take home which is good for momento's

Andnichole twins congratulations you'll be busy shopping soon better crack out the plastic

Hello hoekey sounds like i should have had dinner at your joint mmmmm sounded good dont stress about the pains its sounds like stretching pain they can be dull or sharp and regular it may be worse in the evening because your fuller with food and drink or maybe because you'vbe been up all day and more tired. ooooh i want to see that movie to.

hey rio thanks for the congrats ds is almost 1 and a half and in the midst of the terrible two's. Ds was from my 2nd cycle and one of twins he was the same graded cell as this one i've had put back so i'm feeling optimistic
i see your putting your feelers into the triplets thread are you really feeling you have three in there boy wouldn't that be an instant family

hey ladies you need to check out the chinese calander to see if your having a boy or girl mine says girl i so hope so then i don't need to go through this again.

My beta is tommorrow i'm jealous you guys get more than one if we get agood number we only have one so send me luck for a strong beta

good luck for your scans ladies cant wait to see more piccies i'll have a scan date tommorrow to add to the list

all the best JOMAEXXX

Ladies...I took my u/s scan off for now. I wasnt worried about you girls seeing my whole name and soc sec # but I forgot this isnt a private forum like another one that I am on....so I have to worry about strangers on here. I will rescan it later with the personal info off of it. Probably a good idea if we all do that...if you havent already thought of it. LOL

Thanks for the warm welcome from everyone.

TammyS: My first beta was 18 days past retrieval and was 1676. My second was 20dpr and was 3855 and my third was 23dpr and was 12,077. I will keep my fingers crossed for you that a second baby pops up for your next u/s!

Jomae: I have been very tired lately. I literally put my 3 year old to bed and crawl into bed myself at night. I have also noticed that I don't have morning sickness per se but for the past 5 days I haven't been able to eat much for dinner. I have only been eating some grapes and an italian ice or a banana and some italian ice for dinner. Thinking of eating anything more makes me feel ill. It's like my stomach is already full even though I haven't eaten since lunch. LOL I am actually very nervous about bringing out the plastic to shop....afraid I will go overboard very quickly. At least if we have a little girl we already have a complete wardrobe from our 3 year old. Sending you lots of luck on your beta tomorrow! I did the Chinese calendar predictor and it says boy for me. So does that mean 2 boys? :D

Hoekey: I know what you mean about having bad days. I have found I have a lot less patience lately. Hopefully that will get better in the second trimester!

Jomae - We transfered 4 embies, (1-10cell 2-8cell high grade, 5 cell good) my RE said the chances were only one or none would implant. My betas are strong but not high which makes me think I have one bean, we wanted twins if possible and one is also great! I am 36 and this is my fist IVF cycle (male factor) so the RE wanted to be aggressive. My DH thinks we have two and my mom thinks more. It is onderful that you are on to yoor second, we want two lso and if we have one little bean we will start IVF again aas soon as we can. good luck for strong beta!
Tammy- good catch on the personal info!

Hi Everyone!

I am sorry that I can't do personals - I am already tired (got up at 6:00 AM and ready to go back to bed at 7:30 - my goodness).

Anyway, glad to see that this thread is booming and that twins are popping up! Should be a fun 8 months on here.

I was telling my DH over dinner that I am starting to notice weird changes. For instance, I can't eat nearly as much at one sitting. Then after eating I feel quite full for awhile and then all of a sudden I am starving. There doesn't seem to be an inbetween stage. Like so many of you I am exhausted - took an hour nap yesterday afternoon and then went to bed at 9:00 (although wanted to go to bed at 8:00). I am starting to get food aversions - can't eat cereal which is a problem because I love it for breakie. Such strange things are happening!!! But I love it all!

I am starting to think that DH may have twins or triplets coming our way. I've been comparing our beta numbers with some mentioned on the boards and they seem quite strong. We would love twins but the idea of triplets freaks my DH out - oh well, if that is what it is he'll have to adjust! hee hee

Welcome to all the newcomers! It'll be fun watching things develop on the thread over the next couple of weeks!

I think we are going to try to hit a few movies today - some oscar picks so that I am ready for next weekend. Maybe Juno and Atonement. They booth look good!

Hope everyone has a great day!

Hoekey and Suga - all the best for your u/s tomorrow! Can't wait to hear how they go!!!

I just wanted to say Hi to everyone! :D So many of you here from the Jan/Feb cycle thread.
DH and I have moved back to Louisiana. And I am ordering myself back on temporary bedrest. I went for my last b/w yesterday and mentioned to the nurse that I was having sharp pains on the left side. I just wanted to make sure it was nothing to be concerned about since we were moving as soon as I returned from my appointment. She talked to the RE and they decided to do an u/s. I freaked out! The RE that was working yesterday took about 5 minutes to do the u/s which scared the crap out of me. He did see 2 beans, but told me that they would not confirm twins until 2/26 when we check for heartbeats. So, back to the pain....He said he wasn't sure what he was seeing around my tubes. Something seemed to be moving independent of ovaries. My ovaries were still very large and everything is so tight its hard to say but there MIGHT be a very SMALL chance of an ectopic pregnancy. He really said the chance was slim, but it's just too hard to tell. I will have to drive back to Houston Thursday because they want to monitor me very closely and do another u/s. There is a possibility that it is just tissue. I will keep the PMA and hopefully everything will work out fine.

Tammy- take care of yourself. What's the latest?
Katie- glad to see you are getting your drain out soon. I bet you are excited. :D

I will try and catch up on more personals after my nap.
