OK!!!!!!!!!!!! It looks like crazy multi-madness :D :D :D on the October thread!
wouldn't that be great! twins all around!
due to my #s -i'm probably packin' a singleton- but- who knows what the universe has in store for me
i'm taking it easy as i can - looking to hire a cleaning person as I'm not supposed to vacuum due to my back anyway, and now with a BFP, I think it will make things so much easier!
Dh and i have been building our home in part of a warehouse we own with some friends for almost 6 years, and now it looks like crunch time!! there are a lot of little things and a couple big things left to do - so this new deadline of a wee one( or two ) 8) will surely kick us into high gear!

hope everyone is wonderful!!

Sorry ladies, too tired for personals just now. I may be on later to catch up with you all.

Well girls, only one more sleep for me. I am both very excited but also very nervous. What if they don't see a HB, what if my pregnancy has arrested?? These are the worries that have been plagueing me for last 24 hours or so. Dh and I are going to drive up to the clinic tonight and stay in a hotel. It's only an hour drive from us but it has been raining all day and is supposed to turn into freezing rain then snow, which will make for terrible travel conditions at 6:00 in the morning. Better safe than sorry. Mom-In-Law is coming over to stay the night with my DDs and dogs. It was actually her idea that we drive up tonight. She knows how hard it has been to get here and she worries terribly for my safety.

Sugabeanz tomorrow is our day. Get lots of rest.

I'm off to take a nap, was yawning all through church this morning. Really isn't like me. I love our pastor, he is very engaging and I typically am not bored with our services. Just felt sooo tired.

Hope everyone has a great rest of the weekend!!!

Hoecky: I hear you on being tired!! Don't worry sweetie about your lil bean. My philosophy is always don't worry until there is something to worry about  Hope you and dh enjoy a night away!!

Loopie: I am thinking about hiring a cleaning lady. My house is 3000 sqfeet and I just feel lazy!! ANd what do you mean you ahve been building a home in a wharehouse??

Weezie: Oh I will be praying it is not ectopic!! I have been having pain on my left side too but I thought since my betas were high it couldn't be ectopic... Iwill mention it to my RE on MOnday.

Kelly: aren't all the symptoms fun!! I love it having this change happen in my body - so amazing.

Katie: Oh so glad you are getting the drain removed. Hope it hurts less than when they put it in>

Rio: YOu are so gonna have your own show on tv lol!!! j/k hope you only have 2.

andnichole: is your dd from IVF also??

Tammy: yeah I would not post that info on here

Jomae: yeah it is finally sinking in with dh and yeas we are all so blessed!

This is a busy board!! I am really tired a lot and gassy that is all. We have told only one friend. We are waiting until Easter to tell my family. I am thinking of some cool ways of telling them. Maybe Easter baskets with goodies and a tshirt in it for each that says aunt uncle, cousin... That would be fun. Dh is just like just tell them, dont make a show out of it, but I like shows :) He wants to wait to tell ppl till they see my belly grow!!! WHen are yall going to tell??

WaitingforMia: Actually my daughter was conceived naturally. During her birth my OB at the time had to actually reach his hands up inside of me to turn her b/c she was sideways and wasn't descending down into the birth canal. My RE and I both think that the OB unintentionally introduced bacteria up inside of me then b/c about 2 weeks later I thought I had the flu (had a high fever, chills) but it went away in a few days. They think the bacteria caused pelvic inflammatory disease. So when DH and I tried for baby #2 and I got pregnant last fall we found out it was an ectopic due to the embryo getting caught in my tube. I ended up having my tube burst even after the methotrexate injection and my hcg levels were decreasing nicely. That is how we ended up going the IVF route. The OB said I had a 15% chance of having another ectopic in my remaining tube and if we went the IVF route the chance of another ectopic was between 1-5%.

I definitely recommend a cleaning lady. We have one that comes every 2 weeks. It definitely helps to take care of stuff like keeping the bathrooms clean so that I'm not so bogged down with it. I still run the vacuum a few times in between her visits b/c of accumulating dog hair (we have a German Shepherd) but it has decreased my workload around the house a lot.

I decided not to tell anyone until we see the babies are ok on the 8 week u/s.

Hoekey: Wishing you the best tomorrow!

weezie- I am praying that there is nothing but two healthy beanies in there! Keep us posted. When is your next check?

Hoekey- I have the exact fears that you do. Since I am old and have never been pregnant, I am just worried that this is something that my body just doesn't know how to do. I know it is irrational, but I get scared. I am trying to trust in all the symptoms I have and have some faith that my baby is growing normally and that this is really going to happen for us. I, too, will feel much better after the u/s. Good luck tomorrow. I know everything will be just fine. Keep us posed on how many they find.

Sugabeanz- Good luck tomorrow! You must be very excited to finally get a peek at your little one(s).

Acalpulco - I know exactly what you mean about the vivid, weird dreams! I don't understand where they come from.

Kelly- I can relate to the exhausted feeling. I am a walking zombie all day. I hope my body adjusts and I get some of my energy back soon.

I finally found a good remedy for morning sickness. I actually don't feel bad in the morning, but do get sick after I eat lunch and sometimes after dinner. I finally bought some pickled ginger (the kind you get at sushi restaurants) and tried eating a little bit after lunch today and it did help. It is readily available at most grocery stores.

Anyone else having night sweats, but then feel cold all day? It is really annoying! That and having to pee literally every half an hour, is driving me crazy. I can't imagine how bad my bladder will be by the time I am 8 months!

You all are being very good about keeping mum about your pregnancies! I have told at least 10 people at work and most of my family. I plan to let the cat out of the bag next weekend at a get together with a group of old friends (I am just waiting for ultrasound confirmation). I am not planning to tell my students just yet though. I will wait at least until after spring break- or until I show to let them know. I don't know how you can keep it in! I just want to tell the whole world!

Have a good Sunday.

Hi To everyone!

Weezie - I sure hope that everything is just fine and that the two beans they saw in there are all that are 'stuck'. did they tell you what will happen if there is an ectopic as well?

Geckogirl - thank goodness for the pickled ginger advice. I felt lousy from the time I got up until about 6:00 when it finally calmed down. I definitely will go and get some of the ginger and try that!

Andnichole - I agree with you about the cleaning lady - lifesaver! I think it is because of all the dog hair that I need her! We do vaccum between her visits but it isn't a thorough as when she does it and the hair gets everywhere. I love coming home from work the day after she has been there. Not sure whether we'll keep her after the baby(s) arrive - I suppose if I have 2 or 3 I may need her help!!!

Hoekey - I think that everything is fine and that you'll have a very exciting day tomorrow! Can't wait to hear how it goes!!!

Sugabeanz - have fun tomorrow!! What an exciting day for you!

Loopie - sounds like you have lots to do in the coming months!! It'll be nice to have it all done by the time the wee one(s) arrives! What fun!

Hope everyone has a great evening! I am off to watch Brothers and Sisters - love that show - and snuggle with my puppy!

Hi Girls
I had my beta today 577 14dpt .With ds and his twin i had a beta of 470 so perhaps my embie split i guess you never know don't they say with ICSI there is a higher chance of the embie splitting. Any chance you all could post your betas for me just curious. I'm actually booked for another beta for next monday to see if bub is progressing. No scan date as yet i gues i'll get one next monday if alls well which it will be of course pma anyone else with sore legs?

Geckogirl i've heard ginger is good for keeping M/s away i'm glad you've found something so early and yep i'm like you tell everyone why not.

Andnichole your story my goodness i couldn't think of anything more scary then having to have the baby turned like that. wish my Dh would go for a cleaner he would never go for it anyway lucky someones being spoilt lucky you.

MP i'm gassy too which is shocking really painful wish there was something to do about it if you know of anything i'm already telling people well family atleast they all know we did the cycle so i can't really not

Rio yep how ever many will be will be. I hope its twins for you i think three would be scary. If this bub is a boy i will be trying again we only want 3 children at the most and hopefully one will be a girl A little KATIE would be excellant

Katie G glad your drain is coming out hope it doesn't hurt for you. It does worry when you get taken off the progesterone i only have one week left if all is well and it makes me nervous to i guess we have to trust the docs judgement.

KellyM i know what you mean about food aversions it hasn't started for me yet but with DS i couldn't stand bacon or bananas and couldn't get enough grapes i lived on them. I lost 6 or 7 kilos in the first trimester just from not feeling like eating I found if i didn't eat my food quick enough or if i took too long to chew a mouthfull of food i would nearly be sick and brushing my teeth would make me gag or the fun to look forward to

Weezi twins hey you girl go i wishing all the best for your and your beanies let us know how you go.

Loopie wow living in a warehouse sounds great very open plan living sounds cool

Hoekey and Suga did you scan today how have you both gone

Catch u later ladies
Take care JOMAEXXX

ONE HEALTHY LITTLE HEARTBEAT!!!! That is the Very Very good news. Bad news is that I have a clot that is about 1 1/2 times the size of my little embie and the sac. If any of you remember when I first got my BFP I had the flu with a fever. Dr.s in the emergency room really scared me, telling me that the fever could cause a miscarriage. Of course two days later I had bright blood when I went potty first thing in the A.M. That was the same day as my second beta. The beta, though it went up did not double like it was supposed to. So four days later I went back (not having any more spotting or anything) for another beta and it was a nice 487. So, what the nurse thought was that probably two implanted but I had lost one. The blood clot kind of confirms those suspisions. So I am now taking a baby aspirin everyday and go back in two weeks for another U/S. RE did not seem overly concerned, just told me that for the next two weeks I really needed to take it easy. Coach potato like, but I could get up and prepare meals, drive, etc... just be really careful. The BIGGEST dissappointment is that we have not been cleared for IC yet. We were really hoping to come home and have some celebratory "Whoopee" (sorry too much of that TMI, I am always doing that) but looks like we have to wait at least two weeks, maybe longer. Poor DH, me, I could take it or leave it, I feel kinda yucky and tired by that time of night, but him, I feel soooo bad. He doesn't mind waiting though as long as he gets a very healthy little guy/girl because of it.

I hope you all are doing well, can't wait to hear your results Sugabeanz!!!

Would write more, but hubby accidentally took my power cord for my laptop, and Ihave very little battery life left. Will post more later when it comes home.

Riogirl71, Geckogirl, & Moonk, Only one more sleep. Good luck tomorrow girls!!!

Andnichole/Hopin- Congratulations on the twins! :D How exciting.

Suga- what's the word? I'm dying to find out how the u/s went today

Hokey- I'm so happy for you! It must have been amazing to hear that tiny heartbeat! Please take it easy. I'm glad RE wasn't too concerned about the clot. Is the aspirin going to disolve the clot?

Moonk/Geckogirl- tomorrows the big day! Are ya'lls appointments in the morning?

Rio- tomorrow is almost here! I'm so excited for you. I can't wait to get the news! :D Is DH going with you?

Jomae- every now and then my quads get sore. Like I've been working out or something. Wierd! So what's up with not having the u/s scheduled yet? Damn RE. Tell him you have many people anxiously awaiting for the results. LOL!

Kelly- if it's ectopic then it's over. I'm really praying hard that my ovaries were just so large making all my insides just too tight for a good u/s and the pain is just due to my ovaries shrinking back. I'm praying for good news Thursday. That's when I go back. Thursday.

Tammy- are you feeling any better?

Loopie- what's up? Hey, I just noticed that my u/s is scheduled before yours. LOL! Aside from all the crap I'm going through, my heartbeat u/s is scheduled for Feb. 26th.

Katie- how are you feeling? Did everything work out okay for you today?

Hoekey- Hooray!!!!!! You must be very excited to see your baby's heartbeat! Take it easy and let that blood clot resolve itself. I have been on baby asprin since before my transfer. I think it is because of my age and all the hormones but am not really sure. It is reassuring that your RE isn't really all that concerned. On another note, sounds like your DH and mine are feeling the same - lol- and I have no desire for IC at ALL!

Sugabeanz - What's the word? How did the u/s go? I am dying to hear the news. Hope all is well.

weezie - You are in my thoughts. I'm keeping everything crossed that all that's near your tube is some swelling from your ovaries.

Moonk, Rio - Good luck tomorrow! I know you are as excited as I am.

My u/s isn't until 3:30 tomorrow and since I am on the west coast, I will be posting quite late. I just hope it all goes well. My DH can't go because he got stuck with jury duty of all things. The judge wouldn't let him off and he is on a two week trial. Anyway, a good friend from work is going to go with me. I really wouldn't mind going alone, but she feels the need to help, so I figured it couldn't hurt! I just can't wait for it to be "official" with the heartbeat and all! I am sure there is only one in there; I just hope it is strong and healthy.

Hope everyone is feeling well today. Enjoy the holiday!

Hey girls any of you losing weight? I am losing about a pound a day. DOwn almost 5lbs since ER! I am eating normal - maybe losing water weight?? But still bloated

Acapulco: Man you get a lot of betas - I get only 2! I started getting a bit nauseas yesterday, but it was when I had not eaten in a hile. I need to work on smaller meals often.

Gecko do you hear the heartbeat at the first u/s?? I am glad a friend is going. Dh will not be able to go with me, but he really is not in to all of these things. He is kinda old school - call me when the baby is here lol!

Weezie: Isn't it wonderful to be able to post on this thread?? How was your trip back to Houston?? Everything turn out alright??

Koekey: Liar liar pants on fire :) How did you calculate your EDD?? GLad you heard the heartbeat!! I can't imagine no bd for another 2 weeks! MY RE gave the green light the day of the beta - and it was a nightmare keeping dh off until then!!

Jomae: My 11dp5dt was 316 and 13dp5dt was 960. Re has not mentioned multiples. I transferred 2 embies - but I am pretty sure I have twins.

Kelly: Yeah I am thinking about getting a cleaning lady for once a month - just the nitty gritty you know.

gecko: I will keep the ginger in mind. I would tell ppl but dh once to keep quiet so I am trying to respect that - but it is hard. PLus we are going to my dh's home country in May so we want to surprise everyone with my baby bump then!! Everyone will be shocked!! I think it will be worth the wait.

Well I have been having trouble falling asleep at night even though I am exhausted by the time I go to bed. Trying to eat more often smaller meals. But that will be hard to train myself. I bought the book What to Eat When You are Expecting. Can't wait till it gets here!

Alright mommies!! I better get some work done. I am lazy enough as it is!!!

Hi Girls!

We are super excited about tomorrow's U/S! It is at 3 pm on west coast - right there with you geckogirl!!! DH is going with me and I know the Tuesday is going to drag by, we have both sets of parents dying to know! I can't wait myself and I am praying for two healthy babies! I allso worry that my body is playing tricks on me and that I don't quite believe I am pregers! But I am listening to Mia's advice and trying not to worry!!! I am so anxious.... I finally got MS at night last night, first time! I am also having a little cramping everytime I empty my bladder, anyone have this? Also very gassy, still having truble with PIO

Mia- I did lose some weight right after ER but then gained back about a week after ET. My swollen belly has gone down a little. Smaller and more often meals is a great idea, I just don't seem to be able to follow it
Acapulco - sorry your nausea has set in so bad  hope you feel better! Good job on the beta!
Geckogirl- good luck tomorrow!!! Post when you can, I can't wait - we are u/s buddies!!!
Weezie- I also felt a lot of pain on my left ovary and now it is going away, I am praying that you do not have an ectopic. Hopefully it was just the stimms!
Hoekey - sorry you are not cleared for Whopee  I feel the same way! I am so happy about your little bean's heartbeat!! Congratulations! If RE is not concerned then please don't worry!
Jomae- you might have twins! that is a high beta, my beta wasn't as high but there is just such a range of betas for singles and multiples that it is so hard to tell other than with an u/s. We did ICSI also! I had 627 at 16dp3dt beta. We are alo trying for a boy and girl and we will do IVF again if necessary :) altough my butt hurts just thinking of more PIOs! I am so excited for you! DS must be so cute!
Kellym- I have 2 babies of the four legged kind and they are snuggle bugs! I can't wait for them to figure the family is growing!!!
andnichole-- I am so sorry to hear about your ordeal, my goodness. I am happy to hear you are a fellow German Shepherd owner - we have two! And we are getting a third :D !!! WE LOVE SHEPHERDS!!! I wish you all the luck on this pregnancy!
Loopie - you sure have a lot on your plate but remember to take it easy.
Katie I hope you are feeling better!!
