Hi All! :D

I'm new to these boards, have been hanging around here for a bit, and decided I should introduce myself. Hope you don't mind me jumping in the middle here.

DH and I have been TTC for 3 years now and we visited a RE in Jan. Our next step is IVF, we're just waiting until June-ish to get started as we have a vacation planned in May.

I don't know much about IVF (as I don't know anyone who's had to go through this), so I've found that you ladies are a wealth of knowledge and inspiration!

Hi new Chris! Image The girls are right... we so totally rock! ;)

Stephjim - I'm glad to hear that the break through bleeding is A-OK. I'm sure it freaked you out tho! Glad to hear it's no biggie.

Steph - My DSS does think turtles are awesome, he's very much an animal lover. I think if he had to choose, he'd have to pick monkeys or squirrels, tho... He loves our back yard squirrels especially. Feeds 'em walnuts all the time. He'll have 'em eating from his hand before long!

I actually thought about you when we were leaving the city the other day, I know you said you lived in Rosslyn. We're not that far from there, but far enough to have squirrels! :)

Sorry to hear about your mortgage co! What PITA!

Alright, looks like you guys have already bailed... I'm outta here for the night. Sleep tight!

Yeh I think DC was the only place I have ever seen a BLACK squirrel...I mean I'm not trying to be racist or anything but I have seen plenty of grey ones and a handful of red even, but that was the 1st time I have ever seen BLACK! He was visiting the White House...he was so cool I took pics of him. He was cute :)

Is it Cherry Tree festival yet??? It is so damn cold here I can't imagine ANYTHING growing now

Ok I'm off to bed...next time check out the chat room Hope! When do start doing our litter dance?

Funny, DC is the only place I've ever seen a TAIL-LESS squirrel. Right out in front of the Capitol building! It looked kind of scary, makes you realize just how rodent-like they really are without that darn fluffy tail!

Nope, Cherry trees won't be blooming until at least March. We don't have the complete FROST you do, but it's still cold. Snowed today (tho it was like 1/2 an inch!) but it's supposed to do more on Friday. Lovely, Friday DC traffic in the stupid SNOW. Last week, we had a crazy ice storm and people were stuck on the beltway for EIGHT HOURS! Somebuddy woulda seen my rear end in that amt of time, cause I'd have to PEE!

And.. for the litter dance... we can start next Thursday, week from tomorrow! WOO HOO! Bring on the follies!!!

Hi ladies,

Steph, CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! Will do sparklies later when I have some more energy.

I'm back. Sorry but I was feeling really sick and just about feel a little better since yesterday. ER went ok - had a bad stomach ache in addition to all the other things that were wrong. The RE gave me something to stop me throwing up and I no longer have a fever. Still got a bit of a cough and worried about how it will affect the embies.

They got 12 eggs, but only 4 fertilised. 2 A grade, 1 B and 1 C. After all that I've been through on this cycle, the RE recommended transferring 3. As it is, they do not freeze anything less than A grade, so that wasn't an option. We said no at first and then relented. Throught we should give the B grade one a chance as that might be the survivor. Last time we transferred 2 A grade and none stuck.

Sorry, won't be able to have personals. Just about mustered enough energy to get in touch with you lovely ladies. And to tell you I'm still around!

Will get in touch later when I'm feeling better.
