I CAN'T WAIT! I've decided when my nurse calls, I have caller ID, I'm just going to answer with "Tell momma her number!"

LOL I can't contain my happiness. I have not had one ounce of doubt throughout the wait. DURING my cycle... I had alot. But for some reason when I seen my embies on the screen and watched them fall into place.. I just knew. I layed there for 20 mins with their picture on my chest and thanked God for them. It's been a LONG LONG road and should this not be my time.. I'm not going to stop fighting for them. I kept this one ovary for a reason and I have to keep reminding myself that God could have taken it years ago..but he didn't... and he didn't for a reason.

I know that this is hard for all of us. From sticking that first needle in, Lord that sucked bad! To praying right before the doctor came in for our stick & stirs then holding our breath on ER... to sleepless nights while our embies grew big and strong... But ladies... We're on this road for a reason.. not just by chance. Remember that.. whether it's this cycle of 8 cycles down the road you are here for a purpose.. and I thank each of you for holding my very crazy, hormone filled hand throughout all this.

You are all in my prayers throughout the day... Not just at night cause I just started sleeping again, so I gotta be selfish there LOL!!

*HUGS* Love you guys!

Well my friends, thank you for all of the positive thoughts, but sadly, it's a BFN for us. We found out on Saturday when we POAS'd and then yesterday my period came. I had to go in this morning for the bloodwork, and the phone call should come a little later today. Not sure what we're going to do now. I know for sure we'll switch docs. But I think we may take a little break. Anyway, best of luck to all of you. I'll be checking back to see all of the BFPs!

hugs...

HI EVERYONE!!!!!!!

JUST JENIS: You have the best attitude. :D I am trying to be that positive, but it is very hard. I admire the way you are looking at everything. I am praying that you get your BFP. Image

COURTNEY: Sorry you had to cancel your cycle, the mixed signals from your RN and RE is horrible. I hope your RE really does re-evaluate and make sure that your next cycle is harmonious. I am sending you a hug. Image

J&C: "GO FOLLIES GO" Image

ANNE MARIE: Congrats on your BFP!!. Not sure about the HCG levels and if they indicate multiples or not. I've read of some that have strong numbers like yours having one, but also that if you do third beta, it could jump dramatically and it be multiples. I pray you have a healthy uneventful pregnancy!! Image

RUNNER KATE: Please keep your PMA. Cramps are very normal. I have read of many people thinking that AF was coming, only to get a BFP. Remember, you are PUPO! Image

JILL N MARK: Come on Aunt Flo!! I know it is hard to wait to start stimming. You will be there soon. :D

KBAT: I am praying for your BFP!! Image

BRS888: BFP dust coming your way!!!. Keep your PMA during the 2 ww, it is very hard, but you can do it!! Image

KIMBERS321 AND ITSGOTTAWORK: Have great ER's and great Fert reports, we are all rooting you on!! Image

IRISH HOPE: Hang in there and keep up the "PMA". 2ww is just torture, I know that, but we are all here for you. I pray for your BFP! Image

JUNE 2: Welcome. I have also been stimming for four days. All I can say is "Go Follies Go". Image

KEITA 1981: Sorry about your confusing "Stick and Stir". I am glad that they have you moving forward. This is all so scary and confusing, but I guess it makes us stronger. You will be growing great follies soon. :D

SUE HU: "Go Follies Go"! Image

Well, I had my "Stick and Stir" this morning. I am waiting for the call and progress report. They said 5 on right and 4 on left. I am a little disappointed that there aren't more. I asked if more could show up and the tech stated that between this US and BS and next, more could show up, but after that, probably not. Don't get me wrong, I know that a lot of people get less follicles than this, so I am grateful. I also know it only takes one. I was just thinking this is what I had at the beginning last time and only got 6 eggs, 2 fertilized and a BFN after a 3 day transfer of the 2. My DH thinks we had a couple less at this point last time, I will ask my RN when she calls. We did a more aggressive protocol this time to get more eggs, so I just hope it is going well.

I was just thinking of all those I see that are on their 6th, 7th, 8th or 9th try, and I admire the heck out of you ladies, because this is so terribly difficult. I don't think I could do it that many times. Financially, I know I couldn't, but even emotionally, it would be too much. Now that all the drugs are coursing through my veins, I am back to not knowing what is going to make me cry. All I have ever wanted was a wonderful DH and at least one child. Unfortunately, I met my wonderful DH later in life, so it reduces my changes in all of this working.

I do thank God that you all are here, because this support is just so incredible and heartfelt. We are all in this together. No one else understands what we are going through. There are so many who it is just a normal thing, no problem, they are pregnant. Yes, sometimes I get frustrated w/ that. There is a woman in my department who is pregnant w/ twins. I don't begrudge her anything, I am thrilled for her, but I just want it to be my turn.

I have three cycles covered by insurance, but no frozen cycles will be covered (if I get enough to have any freeze). We can probably cover the frozen cycle out of pocket. I just don't know how much of this roller coaster I can take. But, first things first, I need to keep my PMA and cheer on my growing follies.

Thanks to everyone for all the support!!!!!!!!

Corny I am so sorry AF arrived. Huge hugs for you. Take your time, take good care of yourself and I will pray that you get a BFP on your next try!
Image

kbear I originally had 8 follies but then 2 more showed up. The trick is trying to get as many follies in the same maturity range. I ended up with 10 follies and 7 eggs, 4 mature for ICSI and the 4 fertilized great. We transfered all 4! So you do have a great number of follies! Keep the PMA - this is your BFP time! I am keeping my fingers crossed for you! How many will you transfer?

RIO: Thanks for the info. My RE states that if we do a three day transfer, we will transfer as many as three. If we do a five day transfer, they only want to transfer two. I really want to make it to a five day transfer this time, because I believe if you wait until five days, you can see which embryos are the strongest and transfer them.

The whole numbers thing is a little nerve wracking, because the numbers always decrease w/ every step. I had 8 or 9 follies last time, but got 6 eggs (only four mature, one too many chromosomes). Out of the 6 eggs, only 2 fertilized. I just want to start w/ as many as possible to increase our chances. They are all < 10 right now. So, maybe when they get a little bigger, there will be a few more.

Either way, we will keep plugging along.

Thanks for the HUG, I love that picture.

cornybaby--I am really sorry to hear about your bfn.   I've been there--getting af before the preg. test even comes. I too switched clinics after no success. I think it can be helpful to get a new prespective on your case--a set of different eyes looking at it to see if there's anything that the 1st re may not of caught. Best of luck to you.

kbear--love all the little symbols you put in a previous post.

Well my friends, how's this for a kick in the pants! My doc's office just called with the results of my beta...turns out it's a BFP! Don't get too excited though...my first beta was a 13 and the 2nd was 23...so it didn't quite double. We are cautiously optimistic but they don't expect it to be a viable pregnancy. We go back on Wed for another beta...hoping it gets to 46. I've been bleeding like normal AF...and now of course feeling really guilty about the mamosa at lunch today. Darn-it, I knew those little sticks were evil! Anyway...say a prayer for us that this lil' guy is a fighter!

I guess I'm back! At least for a few more days.
