Okay so I have been told that they think I will have to stay on the progesterone pills up the vajayjay for my entire pregnancy!? Anyone else in this situation? It is just rather annoying having to stick a pill up there three times a day then feel like you are wetting your pants all day...

Also I am thinking about going to a different doctor that deals a lot with twins and whatnot but I am not sure...ugh

Sugabeanz: Sorry to hear about the progesterone. That can be really annoying. I guess we just have to try to have a sense of humor about these things. When I put mine in I always tell DH that I'm "feeding the baby"

Waitingformia: Smart of you to say you were taking something for your back. You can use that excuse again and again.

Tammy and Katie: Glad your appts went well!

Riogirl: I know what you mean about being picky all of a sudden. I had a calzone and raisin bran for dinner tonight  I just can't stomach certain things these days -- meat seems to be a problem for me in particluar. As long as I keep something in my tummy, though, the nausea doesn't get too bad.

OMG I did it again!! I had posts this morning and I sat my laptop down to get a drink of water. My chi hua huas were on the couch and my real nervous girl chi hua hua, Sissy, got scared when I came back and ran across my laptop!!!!! Of course she stepped all over the keyboard and managed to delete my message. MAN!!!! This is the second time I have done this. This stinks!!!

Well, Hi to everyone and good luck to Gecko and Rio today.

Sorry but I just don't have time to repost, as usual.

Rio and Hoekey - Good luck today! I know you must be as excited as I am! I will post later tonight with the details.

suga- What is the reasoning behind staying on progesterone for the whole pregnancy? Is it because you are carrying twins? I am being weaned off my progesterone now and will be totally med free by week 11. I am a little nervous about it, but then again, I am nervous about everything  !

Tammy - Your appointment sounds like it went well. I have my first one the third week of March.

Katie - Bummer about the IC, but you have come this far, a few more weeks will just make it better when you can!

Mellie - Thanks for the reassurance about the boob tenderness. I was thinking something was wrong when it just faded away over the last few days. Glad to know it is normal.

I had m/s all day yesterday. Today, not so much - yet. The only craving I have is for tapioca pudding. I just can't eat enough of it and it always makes me sick after, but I eat it anyway. I hope I get over this one soon! I have gained 4 pounds too. I really didn't want to gain more than 3 during the whole first trimester so I better start watching it a little more. I am sure my ultra conservative doctor will have something to say about it too! Can't wait for my u/s!

Have a great day!

Gecho- I think I've gained 3lbs just this week!
my food intake is random at best- but seems like if it has cheese and carbs- I am all over it! early on (during 2ww and a bit) all i wanted was spinach, salads, and meat
anyone getting pregnancy acne? I woke up to a splotchy teenaged pimple-fest on my cheeks this morning ARGH!!!!!!!!!!! I don't like to wear makeup, but I had to do something!

still a bit dizzy
just spoke with OB's office to schedule appt- and I'm a little angry..... so my old OBGYN left the practice in Jan, and while the REs are in the same office, it's like a different world. I called to schedule and ask about a new OB or Midwife (as I'm not sure which to go with) as RE said to schedule 8-10weeks and I'm telling the receptionist that I did IVF and am 7wks 2days preggo. she proceeds to ask what the date of my last period is and as I didn't really have one due to the BCPs then onto Stim meds -she picked the date I started stimming and somehow came up with an appt on the 24th of March and said- well, that will be 9 weeks!!!!!! I am like, ok lady how do you come up with that - there is no mystery to when i got knocked up! she says she's looking at a "wheel chart" and that's what it says. I told her that would be 10 weeks plus, and she's like, well we usually do between 9 and 11 weeks - so I guess I will call back and hopefully get another receptionist who can add. grrrrrr- and I don't want to wait that long either as I don't even know if this is the woman I want to work with or not.....
i'm probably just cranky because i haven't had any cheese yet today

anyhow- hope all are doing great - how is everyone feeling? my boobs are huge and hurt, and i'm quickly moving out of my regular pants - lost about 3 pair by now!

BUMPIN' 08!!!!!!

Loopie- When I called the regular ob to schedule my appt. they asked me the same question. I told her ..."I did IVF and I am....." She didn't question me at all.

And by the way....it's not just the pants that I cant wear...it's the shirts. The bra size has expanded so much...my shirts won't hardly button around that area. I had put on 10-15 before I got pg with the BCP's and other hormones. ( I can look at food and gain weight.) So all of my "big clothes" were already getting tight before I got pg. I can't wait till I will feel comfortable to walk on the treadmill or exercise otherwise. I just can't do it until my second trimester. I'm sure the doc wouldn't mind.....but I just can't bring myself to do it.

Mia- I was really pissed when my boss toasted our BFP to strangers (especially since his 7 year old daughter was there and she sees my SD once in a while!!) I was very polite but let him know after that it is not public news and how would it be if his daughter ran into my SD and told her? He was cool about it. I am still jealous you can have IC  but happy for you :D
Suga- WOWZA! all of your pregnancy? 3x a day? Yickes!
Tammy- I went to the other board - what a rollercoaster for Corny!
Mellie- same here, I have to keep eating even through nausea or it gets worse. Poor DH told his parents who wanted to have us over for dinner that we don't know what we are going to eat until 10 min before!
Hoekey- good luck today - dying to hear your news! Tell Sissy she owes us a couple of posts!!!
Gecko - it is almost time!!!! :) I havent even had the courage to weigh myself since I can only eat certain things... like pizza the other day! :D
Loopie- I lost my pants before I even got my BFP  by the time my sweling goes all down I will have a bump! Frustrating receptionist! I looooove cheese!
Cinci- I can't wait to exercise! Just even walking on the elliptical. I am so tired all the time, all I want is to nap.

Have you girls been gassy? I have never had so much! Plus I can't really keep it in since I am still tender in the ovaries.

How about going off meds? My RE said stop all on 3/15 but don't we get weined off of it or is it a sudden stop?

6 hours till I see our bean! :D

Loopie How thick was that lady???? OMG, I would have asked for someone else who can actually listen to what you are saying. Makes you wonder if you really want to continue with the office for the rest of the pregnancy or if you should look else where. Sometimes you can't tell though by the frontline staff, however this is your first impression and they should be trying a little harder. There are always other doctors and we are customers. Just because we need an OBGYN does not mean that we have to have a specific one. There are always choices and I think that sometimes these people forget that.

Suga WOW!!! I feel for you, three times a day for the rest of the pregnancy. What are they saying is the reason behind it? Is your prog. lvl really low?? I thought that at 10-12 weeks that the placenta/s take over. I know that you are having twins but they are ferternal right?? Do they think they are a split egg with a shared placenta? Good luck sweetie, hang in there.

Mellie I am struggling with eating as well. I can have a refridgerator full of food and there will not be one thing in it that I can eat. My cravings go for textures though, which is really wierd. I want crunchy, smooth, doughy, or liquid. Haven't really had a sweet or salty taste for anything. Although the other day I thought I would die if I did not get a piece of apple pie  !

rio I know this topic started with someone else but I am replying to you because I really can't remember where it started. I gained about 10 lbs a piece during each cycle. About 1 1/2 years ago I lost 40 pounds, it took me about six months. I managed to keep it all off until I started IVF treatments. So, by the third cycle I had gained back 30 lbs of the original 40 I lost. This morning I wieghed myself and gosh darnit I am right back where I started dieting. I have grown out of all of my pants but I bought four Bella Bands in different colors and they have been a life saver. My shirts really are not fitting any differently, as a matter of fact, I wore a shirt on Saturday that when I normally gain a little bit of weight I just can't wear because it gets too tight in the shoulders. There is no give in the fabric. It fit just fine and felt very comfortable, with the exception of being a bit snug in the bossom area. So, I think that this last 10 lbs. I have gained is bloating because I really am not gaining size any where. Is this odd???? Anyway, I am dreading getting weighed today. I am afraid that they are going to chastise me. But, in my defense I have only been eating when I am hungry. I am also on light duty because of this clot and I can't do anything that would help me keep up with the calories I am taking in. Hopefully I can get the go ahead for IC and can start burning some of it off  . Good luck today!!!!!

Gecko Are you as anxious, nervous, and excited as I am???? I am on pins and needles. In my heart I know that everything is fine, but in my head I have the fear that we will go in and there will be no baby or no heartbeat. AGH!!!!! Only an hour to go. We are leaving as soon as I finish this post.

To all the rest of you girls, have a great day!!!! I know I am missing so many of you, but my thoughts are with you!!!!

Bat- I'm still praying for ya. I hope tomorrow brings you good news.

Cinci- I've been cleared for exercise as long as I keep my pulse under 120. I plan on going for a long walk on the track tomorrow. And if I feel good about it, I will throw in some very light weights this weekend.

Suga- the whole pregnancy? Why? I'm carrying twins and I think that I'm stopping the shots after 10 weeks. At least I haven't been told anything different. Call your RE and see what they recommend.

Sage- good luck at your u/s Monday.

Hokey- you had me cracking up with the comment about having your 15 year old DD at the other end of a 1 1/2" needle. I'd be worried too. Have you ever given yourself one of the shots? I did once. I was mad at DH and to prove to him I didn't need him I went ahead and did it myself. It was pretty easy. The needle goes in a lot easier than I thought it would.

Tammy- so glad you got to hear your little one's HB. Wasn't it the neatest thing?

Loopie- Cheese....mmmmm... I love having cheese melted and wraped in a flour tortilla.

Rio/Hokey/Gecko- Good luck ladies. I still wish you all could get your appointments earlier. The suspense is killing me.

I've been cleared for IC :D Thank goodness. I thought I was going to die! But my nurse did warn me that if I spotted I had to wait another 7 days, then try again. AND, if I do spot I have to go in and get a shot of Rhogam. So that scared the daylights out of DH. rrrrrr..... Anyone else nervously awaiting that shot? I would love to avoid it until absolutely necessary. I think, I get one at 28 weeks and right before or after delivery. Alright, I have to run to the store. I have been craving Captin' Crunch alllllll day.

Hi Everyone!

Wow it is hard to keep up with everyone individually!

M/S- Not really yet. I find my self having aversions to food (chocolate-usually my biggest craving), but that is about it. I have been trying to eat very healthy.

Weight Gain- Well I don't think that I have gained any weight yet, but I am behind you guys a bit. Some of my pants are feeling snug due to bloating.

OBGYN- I was told to set up an appointment with my OB for my 9th week. They didn't question my dates at all. I would call back and talk to someone else.

Exercise- I have been using my elliptical machine with minimum resistance and walking my dogs 4 miles a day. Is there any reason that I shouldn't continue? My dr didn't mention anything at all.

Well I changed my u/s date to accommodate dh's work schedule. So I will be going on Tuesday instead. What week did all of you see hb's? I hope we see something next week, but I know that at 6 wks it is iffy.

Rio: Rhogam is a shot that you have to take if the blood of your hubby and you dont mix...(I think). I am curious to know more too. I know they said that since my DH is A+ and I if I am truly B+ (they couldnt find it in the records from the other docs... so ran my blood for it)...then I wouldnt need the shot. However, if I am negative blood then I will, I think it is in case the baby has my DH's blood and is postive while I am negative. However, I am 99% sure that I am positive...and wont need it. Yayy!

Katie: I havent had any nausea or yacking yet. Yet. Knock on wood. Jelly beans sounds good, DH just made a mental note to get me some tomorrow. Katie ...I was told no deli meat due to listeria.

Sage: We saw a hb at 6 weeks 5 days. Good Luck on Monday.

Suga: That is crazy! I hope that you dont have to do that for 9 months!

Weezie: Have fun tonight!

Hoekey: Too funny...I have this mental image of a 15 yr old just wayyy to happy to stick it to mom. LOL

Loopie: I love cheese and crave it too! I would try to call back and tell them your due date period. If they dont listen or question you ...call someone else. You need to make sure you are comfortable with who you pick ...or it will be a terribly long 9 months.

Bat: I am praying for you and wish you the absolute best news ever tomorrow. Good Luck.

Cincinatti: I had to buy a bra and new clothes already. I went ahead and got some maternity clothes, too. LOL

Mellie: I know what you mean...DH just walked in with some mac n cheese for me and my stomach just turned. I normally love mac n cheese and even had some for lunch yesterday. Oh well.

Rio, Gecko, and Hoekey: Anxiously awaiting your appt news. :D

Everyone else have a great day!

Well I am switching OBs. I called my other doc for a referral today and will get to schedule an appt with a diff OB the end of this week. I just want a doc that is higher risk and deals with twins a lot. I will ask him about the progesterone because I think it is weird that I stay on it for that long. Who knows.

Looks like you all are doing well though! I have not had the m/s yet (some mild nausea random times) and no food aversions. Just big boobs and a tummy that now sticks out! *knock on wood* though because I dont want that junk! haha.

Weight Gain: I weighed myself today and have only gained 1/2 a pound if that. I was reading a book on twin pregnancy and they say gain 10 pounds first three months...well I did not do that and dont think I will. I have enough extra stuff to go around for them haha.
