Hi and Welcome Sassy! Triplets is wonderful! A friend of mine is about to deliver triplets soon. She is at 32 weeks 5 days now...and the docs are confident she will hold out till 34 weeks. She did IUI and 2 took and 1 split. So 2 are identical and 1 is fraternal. She is having all boys. Cant wait to hear more about you.

Welcome sassy i hope your bringing some of you good humour with you your thread on the general forum "the sisterhood of the blue stiletto" had me laughing so many times if i remember right that was the thread that usually started with "you know you've been doing this too long when....." it made for agreat read i still find my self referring to my husband as dh lol. Anyway triplets wow you go girl how many did you transfer.

Tammy congrats to your trip friend shes done well to keep them in so long.

Sorry i've missed so many days its hard to do all personals apart from the recent bad news it sounds as though everyone is doing well and plumping up nicely i didn't realize some of you are quickly approaching the end of the first trimester.

I'm still waiting to have my first scan on monday i'm getting more nervous with reading some of the later posts but am trying to keep positive. i can't remember who asked what tests my doc had me do (sorry) but it was just a urine test for a bladder infection i got presumably from the suppositories its all gone now which is great i'm now battleing a cold myself which i didn't think i would get seeing i had been on antibiotics anyway what can i do. Ms seems to be slightly on the increase for me now seems to last longer but no vomit yet i had mum who works at a hospital get some of those travel vomit bags which sounds gross but it has to be better then blowing chunks all over the place anything to help i say . Anyone taking extra calcium for their teeth just curious
Sorry Mellie i don't think i welcomed you either yet sorry i don't get on as much as i'd like it's great to have you on board more the merrier i say.

rio - We haven't heard from Acapulco or Moonk in such a long time. I went back in the posts and Acapulco was off to her first scan at her last post and then - nothing. I hope all is well! Has anyone heard from them?

Sassy - WELCOME!!!! Congrats on the triplets! I can't wait to hear about how you progress with that many- wow!

Jomae- Sorry about the m/s. Yuck. I know just how your feel. I have yet to yack but have come close. Last night after my DH made me a giant burrito with all the fixins - guac, salsa, sour cream, extra cheese - I almost threw up for the first time. Was great going down! Then I followed it with at least 10 girl scout cookies (I can eat a whole box at a time!) and then I thought I was gonna die. I will take it easy ith the rich food today...... Good luck on your scan on Monday. I am sure it will be fine!

Bat - I am so sorry about your news but as the other girls said, I would go for one more beta. It sure wouldn't hurt anything! If it doesn't work out, it sounds like you are set for the next round. I had 2 chemicals and getting back up and at it made me feel better!

Sassy - welcome and congrats on the trips! Looking forward to hearing about your next u/s!

Sounds as though everyone is doing well! Still waiting to hear about my OB appointment. I think I'll call again today to make sure the OB got my referral this time. I am anxious to get my appointment so that I can get another u/s.

So, big achievement last night - I stayed up until 10:00. My goodness!!! I am actually feeling good right now but I am sure I'll be ready for bed at around 7:00 tonight! I can't wait until I get my energy back!

Bat- I'm so sorry. I really thought we would get good news. I'm glad that you and DH are already thinking about next time. And how wonderful that DH has agreed to transferring 2. I'm praying that your next try brings you all the joy in the world. You are in my prayers.



Sassy- welcome! WOW trips. How overwhelming. I only say that because I still find myself at a loss when I actually think that I'm having two.

Gecko- I am right there with you when it comes to those damn cookies. "LONG LIVE THE GIRL SCOUTS!" I bought 5 boxes Saturday and they are all gone. I hope they are back out this weekend.

Jomae- Glad to see you around. Hope you shake the m/s soon. Sounds like you've got it bad.

Suga- what referral are you waiting on? Are you going to a high-risk OB? My RE told me I could see my regular OB as long as he has experience delivering twins. I'm peeing 3-4x too. But the thing is, I can't fall back asleep. I find that lately I wake up at about 2 or 3 and then I'm done. I just lay in bed till DH leaves at 5:30 then I can usually get 1 good hour in.

Rio- Good job on the HB!!!! You must be so proud of your little bean.

Kelly- Late night last night, huh? Well that's good, now you have the energy of an energizer bunny and you can kick some butt if your appointment hasn't been scheduled.

Well ladies I went for my first regular ob appt this morning and it turned out to be quite the rollercoaster. When the doc tried to find the baby on the ultrasound, he couldn't find anything.....he just kept looking and looking and couldn't find anything. He kept asking..."you had an ultrasound last week and you havent had any bleeding right...." I then got dressed and he sent me down the hall to the u/s tech on a high tech machine who found the baby right away but by this time I was already tore all to pieces but trying to stay calm. I had the scare of my life but it all turned out well. I am still shook up from the first ultrasound. I didn't understand why my RE found the baby in 2 seconds on my previous u/s. I mean this guy kept saying....well there's the uterus and there's the ovaries but I don't see a baby anywhere". He later said it was because my bladder was full and that I have a tilted uterus and that was keeping them from seeing the baby.

The good news is the baby measured 8w2d....one day ahead of mine and the RE's calculations and the h/b was 174. The u/s tech let me listen to it. She knew how upset I was and gave me lots a good pictures. The other news is that I have cysts on both ovaries ( I told them that before they ever gave me the u/s because of all the pain I have been in lately.) Some nights I can barely sleep because of the ovarian pain. I went to lunch with the dh and will probably go home from work early because of all the drama. Sorry about the rambling.....Take care ladies....

Cinci - sorry to hear about your rough day today. Don't they know that they aren't supposed to stress out us expectant mommies!!! You poor thing. Great that it all turned out just fine in the end but what a way to get there.

So, this morning I called the OB's office to confirm that they got the referral from my clinic yesterday (after the first screw up). She said that they did get it and send a response to my clinic right away. She wouldn't give me any more information because she said it had to come from my RE's office. That was okay by me because at least I knew that I got in. So, I've been waiting all day for a call and still nothing. I can't believe that after screwing up the referral the first time they aren't calling me right away now. I've left a message for someone to call me but I haven't heard anything I their office closes at 3:00 so I suppose I'll have to wait to hear about my appointment date tomorrow. I hope that I don't have to wait long for the appointment date to arrive because I feel like I've waited forever for the appointment to be scheduled.

Gecko mmmm love burritos i think they are almost my favourite food we usually by them for luch when out bbut i'm having to avoid them because of the meat lucky i can make them at home but they never taste as good asabbrought one.

Weezie no ms isn't that bad i haven't blown chunks yet so anything else i can handle i find mentos seem to keep me feeling ok especially in the car where i notice it most.

Cin are you sure he was looking at you uterus and not your kidney or something else glad things turned out ok though what a drama ha. hey question how did you know you have cycsts what sort of pain are you getting i only ask because ive been having back pain towards the sides and am wondering if i may also i guess i have to wait for my first scan to finally come around to see.

Anyone else have this or do i have something to worry about i woke early this morning to pain in my abdo and bowel area as well as the very tops of my legs and i could not move a muscle it hurt so much i had a full bladder and thought that it may have been making the painb worse so tryed to get up it took ten mins atleast when i managed to pee the pain soon spreadto my back and hips anyone else have anything similar what do you ladies think.

Jomae - I would call your doctor about your symptoms. Sounds like it could be an uninary tract infection. They happen sometimes. Or you could be REALLY constipated!

Kelly - Glad you finally got your referral to your regular ob. I don't think they get how stressed we already are about all this stuff - especially if we are first timers. I hope they call soon with your appointment. How far along will you be when you see your regular doc? I will be a little over 11 weeks by my first ob appointment. I hope I get to hear the heartbeat! I can't believe you stayed up until 10pm! I am almost in a coma on the couch by 8pm.......although last night it was girl scout cookie induced !

cinci- WHAT A NIGHTMARE!!! I would have been so freaked out. Is you doctor lame or was the equipment the problem?? I am so glad it worked out and that you got to see the baby and be reassured. Whew!

I am feeling ok today. Some m/s in the afternoon as usual but otherwise ok. I got to decrease my progesterone and estradiol this week too. Every week it is a little less until I stop everything week 11. Is anyone else still on meds? How long?

Cinci- OMG! I would have been flipping out! I hope he apologized profusely for worrying the crap out of you. But I am glad that your bean is looking and sounding good!!!

Jomae- I have pains to where I can't move a muscle too. But I'm trying to remember where. Usually around my ovaries, I think. It happens when I stand up too quickly and then I'm stuck. But If you pain travels, I'd call RE. You can't ever be too safe.

Kelly- What drama. And poor thing, all you want to do is make an appointment. Geez. I picked up the phone and called my old OB/GYN, told them that I was 7w1d and that I would be released from my RE at 10 weeks and I needed an appointment. Presto, I will see him at 11 weeks. I'm sorry this is such an ordeal for you. Hang in there.

Gecko- I'm still taking 1ml of PIO every night. And I will until 10 weeks. Along with my aspirin. The shots are finally beginning to hurt. I don't know if it's because DH is tired of giving them and just jamming me with the needle or if my muscle is starting to harden up. Personally, I think it's DH. He's been coming home with an attitude every day. I guess it's because he works in construction and then has to come home and do construction on our house (he added a room and has to remodel both bathrooms). But, oh well. He needs to stop being selfish and get the job done! I cook his dinner every night and it makes me want to barf. But I do it. Ugh, right now he knows I can hear him and he's singing "i'm dying a slow death" Jackass!!!rrrrrr.. Oh, guess I went off track there. Sorry, I just needed to vent.

Cinci: I would be so mad at the doctor! I would be crying. Gosh at least it turned out for the best!!!!

Weezie: I was at a doctor that was family practice and OB. I want to go to a strictly OB and GYNO. I think I will feel better there and they will give me more quality time. He is not a high risk doc but has delivered lots of twins and there are 2 high risk docs in that same office. So I would just feel more comfortable with this OB.

Bat: I would do 2 eggs. That is what the husband and I did. Yes, they both took but twin pregnancies are okay! I wish you luck hun

Kelly: yay on the referral! I am still awaiting mine. Hopefully tomorrow they will get it so I can make an appt.

Sassy: Triplets? wow, oh my. I have a hard time grasping the twin thing! lol. Tripple the blessing!

As for me, last night I was sick as a dog. Not because of the pregnancy but because of the food I ate. I was awake all night going to the bathroom. TMI but I had to hold a bowl and sit on the toilet not knowing which end it would come out haha. Feeling WAY better today just tired. I came home from work early just cause I was falling asleep.

Still waiting on the referral but I should have it tomorrow or Monday at the latest. Hopefully they can get me in soon so I can see the babies again!
My tummy is poking out now. I am only 9 weeks so I just wonder what I will look like here soon. Cute though but odd looking.
