Kbat - I am soooo sorry. I cannot even imagine how defeated you must feel now. You seem to be very, very strong. I wish you luck w/ whatever you and DH decide to do. Hope to see you around here!

AmandaM
- I am sorry to hear about your really bad day. Stay strong, it will happen for you soon enough.

As for me, I trigger tonight. I should be excited but I am more worried about Dh's sperm quality (we have male factor IF). I hope they are strong enough and enough of them to hold their ground over the next couple of days :-)

courtney--
thanks for the info. I probably won't pursue it, but want to gather as much information as I can.... how do you find out if a clinic is registered w/ them.

Amanda M--so sorry to hear about your bad experiences. Depending on how far along they can give you an u/s That's what happened to me during #5. During week 5 they gave me u/s and determined it was etopic. They gave me methotrexite (sp?) which helps whatever is in there to get reabsorbed into the body w/o doing anything surgically.

Thanks again for everyone's support! You guys are awesome. Dh is out tonight w/ his sister--they are going to see a basketball game. I really wish he would have come home, but I suppose I won't be much fun anyway. He's disappointed of course, but I think I am the more emotional one when it comes to this. Before we got married, I did ask him about kids and he did say he wanted them, but that he would have a happy life either way.

Jenis - CONGRATS!!! I knew you were gonna be pregnant. You've had such a great PMA. It's encouraged me to be the same way. But this is your time. :P :P :P

Kate - CONGRATS to you TOO!!! I hope that us late bloomers -LOL- will follow in your footsteps. :P :P :P

Kbat - so sorry to hear of your BFN :( :( I know it's difficult to take in. This is just my second time, but my insurance is not as good as the mandated states, so after this one...I am strictly out of pocket.

Amanda - sorry to hear of your BFN as well. Hopefully, it will not be ectopic. I do hope they find out what is going on with you.

Courtney - sorry if I missed your post, but have you had another beta yet? I have not been on here lately, so trying to catch up with everyone.

So much great news :D ....but also so much heartache
Well, I go in tomorrow for my first US and BW...and I start my gonal-f injections. Once this gets started, it all goes so fast...until that dreaded 2WW.

Good Luck to everyone that's about to go thru ER and ET.
Keep us posted!

KBAT: I am so sorry that it did not work for you. :( I am also sorry that you don't feel you have any further options. Think about it, and if your heart tells you to, explore the Capitol One option. Perhaps a new clinic is what would be best for you. Wherever your road leads, I wish you all the best.

AmandaM: I am also sorry to hear of your news :( This is such a hard thing to go through, I guess it makes us stronger. We are here for you.

J&C: Here is to TGIF "Stick and Stirs". Let us both be headed in the right direction.

AmandaM - I totally know how you feel. My betas were 13, 23 and 37. I am going in tomorrow for one final one, and then will have to go back late next week to make sure it is decreasing. RE says it's a chemical. This was my 2nd try too. I guess when I'm ready we'll move on to number 3.

Jenis - CONGRATULATIONS!!! I was so excited for you when I heard the news. Take good care of you and your lil' one.

kbat - I was praying all day for you. I am so sorry it didn't work out this time. I love that you and DH have talked about and decided what you are and aren't willing to do. We still go back and forth about whether donor eggs/sperm are an option, if it were to come to that. I know what you mean about the money. We have no coverage and it's really hard. I am not sure yet how we're going to pay for more cycles...but God willing, we will figure out a way. Take care of yourself sweetie...

lots of love,

kbat- if you go to the website and click on Fertility, there is a seach page to find clinics. I believe you can search for specific REs or by state.

Jill-n-mark- My cycle was cancelled last Friday, I only had 3 very tiny follies before stims were to begin. I had 9 follies last month, so we are taking this month off...hoping to begin with more next month. Now I am in another holding pattern, waiting for AF to return so I can start BCP again. This time I will only be on BCP for 9 days, not like 21 before.

Hi Everyone!
Thanks to everyone for the encouragement after I got my fertilization report. We were pretty shocked about only 3 fertlizing but were more encouraged at the transfer when we talked with the drs. We have none to freeze but 2 were transferred and we are hopeful this is the cycle that works for us! Good Friday (our test date) can't come quick enough!

kbat - I am so sorry to hear about your BFN. I really hoped this was your cycle. I wish you and your husband all the best. This is an extremely tough journey and words cannot express how much I hope it gets better for you both.

Amanda - I am also so sorry to hear about your results as well. I had a chemical pregancy last time and I know how devastating it can be. It is definitely going to be tough but you will be a mom some day! You have to keep up the hope and get through this. I wish you all the best!

Sue, I hope your trigger went okay. Good luck tomorrow! We are dealing with male factor issues too. They scared us at the retrieval and we talked to the drs at the transfer and they said DH's little guys did just fine. They only need so few. This process is amazing!

IrishHope - I hope all goes well today. I can't wait to hear your beta number! Congrats on getting the test date moved up to today!

Good luck everyone! I am going to rest now. (Mrs. G - I have today (the day after transfer) off. The nurses recommended to me to just be a couch potato today and to take it easy this weekend. My dr says there is no conclusive evidence that bedrest after transfer increases the chance of pregnancy but that it is better to be safe than sorry.)

Mrs. G.--I went to work the day after the transfer. I found it to be very easy. I slept for about 2-3 hours after the transfer and then got up and went out to dinner w/ my parents (who took me to the appointment b/c hubby couldn't). We even walked around quite a bit downtown. The next day I did the elliptical for ~50 min and went to work. I was totally fine. Good luck!

Kate.. How funny. Both our hubbies had to work and we did the ET without them.. and we've BFP!!!! See.. who needs men? :)

WORKED OUT!?? woman you're insane. I'm stilll in lazy mode. Have been since ET. No bed rest but I'm taking things light. Lately I've done more, but I won't lift anything even slightly heavy.

itsgottawork - Thanks for the encouragement! Both Dh and I went to our respective pre-op appts today. Me - in prep for ER tomorrow. He - just in case he needed TESE. So, he took an SA sample and they said it should be OK w/o surgery.
Hopefully, tomorrow is the same story. :-)

Have a good, relaxing weekend Ladies :D :P :D :P

My final stick & stir was this morning, and we were totally prepared for them to say that my follies hadn't grown enough, and we were going to do an IUI instead. I actually was in a good mood and had accepted it. But everyone's crossed fingers and prayers have worked, and we're doing the retrieval on Sunday. :D :D :D WHEW-HEW!!!! DH and I were both so surprised. I was a great start to a Friday.

I trigger tonight and we'll do the retrieval early Sunday morning.

I very well realize that we could get very few eggs or maybe very few eggs fertilize, but I'm just going to enjoy the "high" emotional roller coaster that I'm on right now.

kbear - How did yours go this morning?

Sue - Let us know how the E/R goes.

D/A UPDATE

Post by keita1981 »

Well my endo is 11mm and i have 9 follicles, the largest at 16...i was a little upset b/c i thought I would have more than that, i see why i wasn't feeling too uncomfortable, but dh and someone else made realize that it could've been a lot worse. I just felt that i may have been too suppressed if you ask me, but that is just my opinion. but, i'm going to roll with it and try to remain positive as I had been and just trust God on what he is going to do for me. My doc office called back and told me My E2 was 875...whatever that is. and they will be reducing my meds from 300 a day to 150 a day. I go in Sunday for another b/w and u/s they may have me trigger soon.
me/26 & dh/27 ttc since 2005 pit. tumor taking bromocriptine. Tubal IF. m/c on 11/06 natural. 01/07 ectopic preg, 12/07 another ectopic & both tubes removed. ER 3/12/08, ET 3/15/08 2 perfect 8-celled embabies transfered. test date 3/28/08. 1 TOTSICLE.
