Thanks for your kind words Kimbers! I spoke w/ my Endocrinologist about 2 weeks ago and he upped my dosage, as a precaution. He wants me to check TSH every 4-6 weeks. I wish I could save myself some needle stabs and have it done at the same time as B/W at the Clinic but they said they it would be best of I did it thru my Endo. Just so he has all my records on hand.. otherwise I would have to fill out consent for release of records., they would have to forward it to him each time, would take longer etc, etc..
Oh well, going to sleep now.. hopefully

Just a quick hello ladies...I am on a computer in a hotel lobby and someone's waiting to use it, so I have to be quick. I just wanted to say that you to all who have been and are still praying for us. We go in for another beta on Tuesday so I'll let you all know how it goes.
Irish - I just saw the update. I am so sorry it was a BFN. I've been there before and I so know how much it sucks. Cry all you want and hang in there...are you going to try again soon?
To the rest of you...good luck wherever you are in your cycles! I'll post more as soon as I can...
So I'm up and awake in the middle of the night...GGGrrrr...so of course, I'm reading the message board.
I actually feel pretty good right now since the ER, but I'm still staying home tomorrow. We made it through our first PIO shot last night, and I've decided that I have needle anxiety. It wasn't bad at all. I am SOOOOO glad I've read everyone's posts about icing before and massaging and heating afterwards. I don't know where I'd be without this board!
I'm anxiously waiting the fertility report in the morning.
Sue - I'm so sorry - I know the #'s can be disappointing. I absolutely agree with everyone else though....two embies are a great #. I'm praying that they are strong. I've also been praying that at the very least, we end up with 2 strong embies. **Grow, Embies, Grow**
indie - Good luck on the testing!! Let us know about that BFP!
Corny - I'm still pulling for ya! And tell that person at the hotel that they can wait their turn!!
Has anyone heard from kbear4211? She and I were both scheduled for our last stick & stir last Friday. I don't think she's posted since.
Me and DH - 37
TTC - 7 years, PCOS and 1 blocked tube
IVF #1 w/ICSI...DD born Oct. '08
IVF #2 w/ICSI...BFN
IVF #3 - FET....ectopic pregnancy
HE already knows the outcome.
well, I got af, so now I know it's officially over. I am kind of still up in the air about stuff. I would like to get one more opinion from a doc about whether or not I should proceed, but probably won't. My dh won't come out and say it, but I think he's had enough and is ready to move on. But I do think it's more difficult for women not to have the kids than it is for men. So, in the end, I guess I will just have to live w/ it.
Happy Monday!
The bright side of today is I got through the first weekend of my 2ww!
Kimbers - I am SO jealous that you get to test on the 17th! It doesn't seem right that I have to wait until Friday and you get to test Monday when we did our transfers on the same day. Didn't you do a 3 day transfer too? I look forward to seeing your BFP on luck St. Patrick's Day! Perhaps I will POAS that day too.
J&C - Congrats on your retrieval! I hope you feel better soon and have a great report!
Kieta1981 - The numbers game is such a rollar coaster! I hope your trigger date is set today and you don't have to worry about it any more. Sounds like you have great numbers now!
Cornybaby - your story is amazing. I hope your betas continue to rise and that all is well! Good luck tomorrow!
Welcome kate65! Good luck with your retrieval today. Keep us posted on how things go!
Indie_rad - GOOD LUCK today!!! I can't wait to hear about your BFP!!!
Jill - No worries about being a late bloomer. We are all here for you and can't wait to hear how your cycle progresses as well!
Thanks for updating the schedule! I love seeing where everyone is at!
JustJenis - I continue to be so excited for you! Your beta numbers are excellent!
Sue Hu - Hang in there. I know how you are feeling. I had 25 eggs, only 13 were mature and only 3 fertilized. They held on and made it to transfer though! You've done all you can and I hope today goes by quickly for you! Good luck tomorrow!
kbat - sorry to hear about AF. It seems like a slap in the face. You are in my prayers and I wish you and your DH all the best.
IrishHope - I'm sorry to hear about your BFN. There's not much more that can be said except it completely sucks! I hope you have lots of luck in the future.
Sorry, I have been out of the loop for the last couple of days.
IrishHope: I am so sorry for your sad news. You are in my prayers. Please keep updated about your future plans.
Corny: Your story is quite a miracle. I am praying hard that tomorrow, you have doubled again. Sometimes, we know our bodies better than the doctors do. How awesome that you never stopped your meds even though they told you to.
SueHu: After my ER for my first cycle, I had horrible cramps for a couple days. Everyone is different, but it makes sense, our ovaries have been working overtime for us.
J & C: I am praying you get a great fertilization report. Boy, there are so many things for all of us to worry about: follicle number, than egg number, than fertilization number, than transfer number. I tell you, IVF is not for the faint of heart.
Keita: It only takes one, we've seen on this board many times. I will pray that your embryos stay strong, keep dividing and you get a BFP!
Jill_N_Mark: My beta will be the first week of April as well, we will be in the dreaded 2ww together. It is nice to have people that relate. We have not told many people about this cycle, we decided to keep it a bit more private this time, so all of you ladies are great support.
Mrs G: My clinic states 24 hours couch potato time after transfer, than light duty for a few days, than resume normal practices. They don't even advise against IC after a few days, but we abstained until the 2ww was over. Some abstain until the second trimester.
Indie Rad: GO BFP!!! GO BFP!!!
Kbat: I am so saddened by your story. I wish I knew what to say. We are prepared to explore adoption if this cycle does not work. I will still have one more cycle paid for by insurance, but I want to get things started on that front. I am sorry that your DH does not want to explore adoption. My DH and I have decided that we will not use donor eggs or donor sperm as if it is going to be our biological child, it will be both of ours. You are incredibly strong, and I wish you the very best whatever decision you make.
ItsGottaWork: Every clinic's beta dates seem to differ. My clinic waits until 18 days after ER. Some seem to do it a lot earlier. I probably will POAS this time, as I don't want the call to be a total slap in the face, if it is negative.
Kate65: Welcome, and have a great ER and Fert report.
Well, I have had two "Stick and Stirs" since I last posted. Yesterday's went very well. I have 7 over 10, two at 15 and two at 12. I go again tomorrow. I was told on Friday that I probably would trigger tomorrow 03/11/08, but I have a feeling it will be Wednesday. This means ER on Friday.
I so wanted more eggs this time, I have just about the exact same amount as last time. I was hoping the Microdose Lupron protocol would get me more eggs, but oh well, you get what you get. My lining is great, so that is one less worry.
I will post tomorrow after my US/BW to let you all know for sure when I trigger and when ER will be. I am trying to be so positive right now. My mother swears this time is my time. God, I pray that is true.
For all of those stimming: GO FOLLIES GO!!!!!!!!!!
For all of those at ER: GO EGGIES GO AND HAVE GREAT FERT REPORTS!!
For those in the 2ww: I AM PRAYING FOR BFP'S FOR ALL OF YOU!!!!!!!!
You are all incredible women and I am glad we are here for each other.

Sorry I can't help Courtney, they did not tell me how many I had before stims. At first US/BW after stims, I had 9 total, and I still have 9, just two are still very tiny.

Okay, I'm back from ER. I feel much better than I expected (though perhaps still enjoying the residual effects of the anesthesia mixed with the Tylenol they gave me before I left). They got 9 eggs. Yay! Tomorrow we'll know how many make it to fertilization.
Amanda, we also opted for IVF because of the chance to do PGD. I haven't had that much difficulty getting pregnant, but we keep having miscarriages and they think it might be something chromosomal. Keep me posted on how yours goes.
brs888, the genetic testing (PGD) is done on day 3. They take one cell from each of the embryos and send it to a lab which counts the chromosome pairs, so we can eliminate any embryos with issues. They say they can detect the 20 most common genetic abnormalities with this technique (though, of course, that leaves a lot they can't detect). Since chromosomal abnormalities are the most common reason for miscarriage, weeding the abnormal ones out should give us much better odds of success with the embryos that make it through.
J&C and Sue, how are you feeling? Any news? I'm watching you both closely since you're just a day or two ahead of me.

Hey Ladies - I'm feeling much better today after ER yesterday, and I LOVE having a day out of the office. I'm still a little sore, but I'm feeling even better as the day goes on. I'll go back to work tomorrow.
Out of our 8 mature eggs, 4 definitely fertilized and they said that there is a possible 2 more. The tech who called said that she checked our little embies this morning. She didn't call until almost noon, and I almost said - well, go look at them again! We'll just have to wait until tomorrow to find out about all 6.
kbat - I'm so sorry. Please also don't be afraid to tell DH that you need kids if you do. I know that I do. My DH originally didn't think that he really wanted to do adoption, if we can't have kids with IVF, but I can't live without having children. I honestly believe that if we do adoption that DH will absolutely melt as soon as the adoption is final. You've been through a lot.....don't be afraid to stand up for what you need. We've already agreed that we'll adopt if we can't have children through IVF. I'm thinking of you. (((HUGS)))
kbear - Glad to see you're back!! Go follies go!!!
kate - It gets better. Great # with the 9 eggs. Keep us updated on the fertility report!

thanks for all the best wishes. We too will not pursue donor eggs--if we were to have kids it would have to be both of our kids biologically not one or the others.
As for adoptions, my dh is pretty against it--mainly b/c he's a lawyer and he was involved w/ some wrongful adoption cases and has seen the worst in the industry and what can go wrong. and so as a result he's just not interested....
Best of luck to everyone stimming and in the 2ww. I will have my fingers and toes crossed for everyone in the waiting stages.
Thanks for all the best wishes. I had my first beta test this morning. Got the results back an hour back and its definitely BFP !!! The beta number was 41. I am soooo excited. I have to go in for the next test on wednesday. Now I am going to keep my fingers crossed that the number keeps rising as expected and the first ultrasound is uneventful! I was such a chicken this morning that I gave them DH's cell # to call back. Anyway it was nice to get the good news from DH instead of the nurse.
