hi my name is angela, i'm 30 my dh is 28 brandon, we have male factor infertility after going to a few doctors who didnt think the low sperm count was a big deal we finally found a RE in our area and luckily on our insurance plan. and icsi was suggested as the best option, out of 14 eggs, we transfered 2 embryos on 3/10/08 and now are just waiting to see if it all worked. we live in south texas, just moved here from vegas, and looking to start a family. we have our fingers crossed..its gona be a long 2 weeks.
we didnt expect all the shots, i was on bcp, then lupron, then gonal f, and finally hcg, and progesterone in oil which i'm still on until further notice, the most painful part was probably the retrival but they gave me some demerol.
the neatest part was when we got to see the embryos, the RE printed out a photo of each one that was going to be transfered, and watching them being implanted was really cool.
fertility lifelines was great about the medicines, we were able to get most of them at walgreens since they were covered better under our insurance, fertility lifelines has a great hotline to call for support 24 hours a day.
