Hi guys!

How is everyone? i am a bit irritated!!!

One of my close friends kind of hurt/pissed me off. We were at lunch today talking about the show Jon and Kate plus eight. Well we started talking about the how she had 6 babies and how hard their life is. Guess what she says.....

Well it is her OWN fault, she choose to do the fertility drugs!!! I was stunned, shocked to say the least. I mean she is my only friend who knows about me and DH situation. So she was basically telling me if I ended up with 6 stinking babies that it is my fault. She said she would never even think of selection reduction. I told her I truly do not know how I would feel if I was in that situation. She proceeded to tell me that again how it is your own fault b/c of fert. drugs. I wasnt mad about her opinion about selective reduction, but about how her attitude was towards fert drugs. I was like HELLO????? You are talking with me!!!! I had to change the subject as I was hurt and mad. this coming from a woman who all she has to do is look at her DH and get preggo. Dont get me wrong, she is my BF and I love her, but she really hurt me, and I couldnt even tell her...

yeh my feeling though is it isn't her fault but her RE's...she should be monitored that's for sure...especially after she already had multiples on the drugs ONCE! She was obviously a good responder! I did my 1st 2 clomid cycles unmonitored and I was scared shitless I was gonna have 42! Certainly nice to see when I finally did monitor that I wasn't an over producer. My clinic (and actually state) requires all people using RE to go through counseling to discuss issues like this so certainly the patients are made to think about the risks etc. I'd never in my wildest dreams would want 6 at a time...hell even 4 is rough! The health problems are something I just don't want to risk...both for me or the kids.

But yet uneducated people do say stupid things...gives me an excuse to beat them with a stick though :D

Good morning ladies-

It's about 5:30 my time and I'm up and ready to go to the RE's for my ER! Still waiting on DH to get himself up and going. Having showered last night (so I don't have that fresh soapy smell) I didn't have much to do this am! Brush teeth, wash face, dress. Hmm, that's about it! Oh, and I did brush my hair... a little. ;)

I'm already hungry and I promised DH if we left a little earlier than planned (TERRIFIED we'll get stuck cos of some wreck on the beltway!!!) that we could go get him some yummy breakfast once we get there... i have a feeling I'm going to be regretting that offer! :?

Oh well, just a few more hours now and I'll be out like a light so I won't remember i'm hungry anymore!

Thanks to everyone for all the follie dances and well wishes. I feel pretty positive about things and trying to stay that way!

Hope everyone has a wonderful Wednesday!! I'll check in later today with a eggie report.

Shantala, glad you are doing well but sorry you are feeling sick but better to not take any chances. Not much longer.

Hope, good luck today. yay finally ER right? I am going for my 2nd US after starting stimms today and he told me Sunday he will be able to give me an ER date today. I am keeping my fingers crossed for Tuesday next week. If sooner, then better.

Hello everyone else. i tried to get into the chat room last night but it was as soon as everyone was getting out. I am off today so will be in and out.

Thanks for all the follie dances.

Hey all!!! I have been back from the docs for a little while but got OCD about finishing up painting my dining room so just now go on. We had 10+ follies this morning. There is one big guy that apparently was there back before the stimms so he is a monster size of 21 already. Then the rest, right now are 9-13. So three more nights of stimming and then Saturday I go in for what should hopefully be the last US and he said probably Tue or Wed retrievall day. YAY!! It is so nice to hear a date finally. The other doc will be there Saturday but my friend went to him and said he is awesome so he will read my US just as well. I really feel like I am getting in the easter spirit. I feel like I am carrying around two easter baskets in my ovaries.

Image

Mir, I am sorry about your friend. Some people just don't think before they talk. You tell her to be quiet or we will get her.

Image

Angie, I am glad your youngest DSS fessed up finally at least to someone. My DSS has been having issues at school in Kindergarten. Some of it you want to laugh as soon as you hear what he says to his mom and his teacher and then you just get disappointed. I know he is not into the porn yet but I am sure 7 years down the road we will be dealing with that too.
Right when my DSD hit puberty we caught her watching some nude girl show on HBO one night because she was curious what they looked like. AGGGHH that was freaky, so needless to say she lost HBO and then lost the TV once we got into the house. Kids do the strangest things, but we did then too as kids, right?

I am off to Home Depot just finished the dining room. Need to find colors for the hall and kitchen.

Steph, you back from your rents yet?

Talk to you all soon,
Steph
