Hello all!!! I am getting ready to go to bed and wanted to talk to anyone out there because have not had a chance to get on today. I am sooo bloated tonight. I eat and I bloat, etc. Can't wait for Tue. My manager is aware now so I will be calling in for Tue instead of trading days, just in case I am sore Wed still. So I have two more days of work and then will be off for 23 days. Yay. I love being a nurse. So easy to take a bunch of time off and only use a few days.

Congrats on the Welsh winning Becks. You sound like you are feeling better.

Chriss when is your test date?

Hey Steph, Nimble, Mir, Angie, Shantala, Lara, Su, Mia, Sorry no personals, gonna go to bed after wewatch Celebrity Apprentice.

WTF is Bok Choy???????

Its a Leek (i think u mean the green things yes) LOL!

The Leek and the Daffodil are both the national emblem of Wales....

Hahahaha bok choy (ive never heard a Leek called that before lol) and it has nothing to do with us driving on the RIGHT side of the road either

Oh i still havent had my schedule or my drugs - but we went to hosp this morning for DH to get bloods done (as the last lot, they didnt tick one screening, so we had to go back!!!) and they said we would get an sppt on Friday and have everything then ....

But i want it - and i want it now!!

Right, off to MIL's for dinner - im starving cos we was up so early (i aint been up this early on a Sunday in ages!) Oh and my arse is getting a wee bit better - still in pian, but its easing a lot :D

Catch up with u all later ladies ... will do personals then (oh im off Hell untill Tuesday 25th too) whippieeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!

Heeelllllooooo out there... ;)

Pretty slow this weekend. Hope that means everyone is out enjoying the early spring! Image Anyone celebrating St Patty's Day early? Image

Speaking of Irish Luck - Chriss - Sending you lots of Leprachan wishes for this week's test. Thinking of you!!Image - Praying you won't need to worry with the time off from work for tmt in Manhattan.

Becks & Rachel - Looks like the Welsh are the ones with the Luck this weekend! Congrats on the big win! The bok choy & leeks had me going! I'm scared to ask the story behind the leek being a national emblem. I get the daffodil, I guess, a little better. :) But do you eat 'em? they look like onions, are they similar?

Jen Babes - Thinking of you, dear. I am so glad you had the support of your PILs and DH this weekend. Long walks with the dog sound very relaxing. You hang in there. We're here for u.

Stephjim - only 2 more sleeps til ER! I'm sure you're gonna have a nice little basket of eggies on Tuesday!! Image
Sorry to hear about the cyst, but as Steph was saying, it's not going to pose a problem, right? I know what you mean about the bloating & fullness... glad you have time off to relax and recover! Do they know yet if you'll do a day 3 or day 5 transfer?Image

Steph - I like your thinkin' - (pg post! ;) ) Hope work isn't too bad for you today. Did you post a piccie of your scan?? If not, why??!! And if so, how did I miss it?!!? Do you have another scan in a week or so? When will you get released to your regular OB/GYN? Image Don't ask me why he has a band-aid. I have no idea!

Miracle - How things going with DH's job situation? Better I hope. Thinking about you... how's work for you??

Mia - where's you at??!! Miss you. Hope all is well with your little princess, DH & mommy too!!

Hi Shantala, Carolyn, Angie, Nims, Su and everyone else! Hope you are all doing well and enjoying some lovely spring weather. :)

My transfer went well yesterday. We had a tough decision to make. We had 3 grade 1 embies and 1 grade 3 embie. I really wanted to transfer three, but the doc (instead of doing what I suspected) basically talked DH into 2. DH dropped his head and said, whatever you want to do... but I couldn't see going thru with 3 when he was so dead-set against it. So 2 it was... two beautiful grade 1, 8-celled embies. After the transfer, I told DH, if this doesn't work - next time - there will be no discussion!

But, I'm feeling really great and hoping that my other grade 1 makes it to freeze tomorrow or Tuesday (none ever have before, but there is always hope). AND that my little beanies that are now home with mommy snuggle in for a long, cozy ride!!!! Went to acupuncture after the ET. It was good. Go back again tomorrow. Hung out on the couch the rest of the day... in fact, it's calling my name now..... Image Test day will be Monday 3/31 - but I can guarantee this girlie won't hang out 19dpER. nope. count on it.

Yes hun they are like onions (spring onions) they are used for the likes of stew or cawl (welsh stew in wales lol) they look like this:

U chop off both ends, peel em and wash em - then slice to how ever thick u want, then boil them up - they taste lovely :D

3/31 seems so far away I thought that the test date was like 10 days post or 11 or 14 days post retrieval. Is it different for each doc? Triggering at 9pm tonight, Yay another shot. I can't wait.

Talk to everyone later.

Yes - it does. My clinic tests 18 dpER. Why??? I dunno. But my 18 days falls on Sunday 3/30, so I have to wait another silly day - til Monday.

Have fun triggering tonight... and for the shots - Image you better get used to 'em!!! You doing PIO shots beginning Tuesday night??? :) Lovely IM shots...
