Just wanted to post that my u/s was very uneventful except the the little guy is really growing. This appt was with my RE and his u/s machine isn't as high tech as my reg ob. I was able to see the h/b and that it looked like it had really grown. It had been 11 days since I had seen my little one and he had almost doubled in size. He is now 3.13 cm. Which I converted to 1.23 inches. Last visit 11 days ago he was 1.74 cm.

Rio: That is too cute with all our things and due dates! Thanks for that!

I have had a headache for the past 2 days! It will not go away for anything! I think it is just allergies cause of all the pollen. I called the OB and asked what I could take and I am going to down some benedryl tonight! Hopefully it will go away. Also noticed today that I am getting the "pregnancy mask" where I am getting brown splotches all over my face. My face has broken out again as well. Who cares I am pregnant! :)

Happy St. patties day to all! I went back to class after spring break (college) and everyone was just staring at my belly saying how huge it has gotten. Yes, I know, HUGE!

I can not wait till the 27 and my ultrasound I am jealous of those who have seen theirs again.

Weezie: sorry to hear of problems with dh. Glad that you have a safe place to stay for a bit.

Jomae: I have no idea how you find the energy to take care of a child! I can barely do my part-time work!

Kelly: the Myrtle Beach getaway sounds fabulous. Yes, it is a good idea to take a vaca while you can!

cinci: wow! Your little one is growing like a weed.

I have been gone so long as I have been... well... distracted  I promise to be a better forum friend!

I had another US on Friday. We were having to tell dh's family since I was to be measured for a bridesmaid's dress on Saturday... for a wedding I may not even be able to attend, much less fit into a snug dress for  . So I asked my RE to do another US before we told them Friday night. I wanted to get an idea of how they were doing... in particular the one that was much smaller on the previous US (which I have lovingly named "runt").

We still have five heartbeats. The three babies with their own sacs look good. The two identical twins are another matter. Runt still had a low heartbeat and hadn't grown much. It's twin, which looked good at the last US only grew 1mm, although the heart rate increased as would be expected if the fetus was healthy. We expect to be losing runt... we will just have to wait and see with the other twin.

I called on Friday to get an appt with the perinatologist I want to work with. At first the scheduler said that his schedule is totally booked (he is out of town this week) and suggested that I may have to wait another week or two... that is, until I mentioned I have quintuplets. Her response? Silence... and then "Did you just say quintuplets?" When I said yes, she told me they would clear his calendar. And they did! I have an appt next week

Hi Ladies
i'm a little confused now my doc told me i am due on the 24th of Oct making me 8weeks 4days but when i put my ticker on itsays i'm 8weeks 3days according to the due date calculations i know it's only a day but i'd like to know the correct date and to make it more confusing by my thinking i was 8 weeks 5 days any ideas my pick up was the 1st of Feb is that counted as day one or is the second

thanks girls i know it seems trivial but i think it's important

Hi everyone! Glad to hear everyone seems to be doing well.

Jomae: Would leap year be the reason for the confusion at all? If you are due the 24th...I am due the 17th and I am 9 weeks 3 days. Feb 1st dont count ...count Feb 2nd as day 1.

Sassy: I am praying for your little runt. How close is the wedding to your due date? I was worried about the same thing with both my brothers getting married this year. However, they chose May and Feb....so all is good.

Suga: I am sorry to hear about the headaches and the preg mask. Hope you feel better soon. The 27th will be here soon. My doc wouldnt do another u/s today. We have to wait till 4/7 which will be the Nuchal test.

Cincin: Glad to hear everything was uneventful and that your little bean is growing well.

Mia: Glad to hear you are doing well and no m/s. I havent had any either (knock on wood). We missed you.

Corny: Glad to hear you are doing well. 7 more days. Yayyy!

Rio: Love the update post and smileys. I didnt get an u/s today after all. He said my insurance may not pay for extra ultrasounds without a medical reason for it. I get one on 4/7 when I go for the Nuchal test. I decided on the Nuchal vs the CVS. Which are you doing again?

Weezie: Sorry to hear things are crappy at home. I hope things are better now.

Kelly: A trip to Myrtle sounds great. DH and I are talking about doing Myrtle or somewhere Memorial Day week. It will be our anniversary and my 40th bday, too. Ouch...40.

Hope everyone is doing well!

I had my doc appt. today. No u/s though. He says I dont need one. LOL Lucky me ...nothing wrong...so I dont need one. LOL My bloodpressure was good at 128/82. (they are watching it closely) My UTI is gone. My CF testing came back negative!!! Both Dh ad I are A+ and B+ ...so no extra shots. I have gained 5 lbs so far. I havent had m/s or the headaches anymore. I really dont have any symtoms. Although, I have horrible restless legs syndrome. I am up all night ...every night...and only sleep about 1 hour at a time...but not till the morning. I sleep about 3-5 hours a day...and I am soooo tired. Tylenol helps a little sometimes...and doc says not to take anything for it, except the tylenol.

Oh and I have a good one for the crazy places that the shots have been given. Tonight, DH and I attended a 2 hour breastfeeding class at Babies R US. I know a little early...however, I dont know if/when I will be on bedrest. We started our registry too. I like to be prepared. Anyhow, my PIO shot was scheduled right in the middle of the class....so DH and I got up...slid out the back... and went to the "Mothers Room"!!! LOL

Hi Tammy
thanks for the thought i logged on not a little while ago and it's corrected itself i wonder if it could have something to do with the difference in time zones anyway i'm glad your appointment went well even though the doc wouldn't give you another u/s. I can definately relate to the being awake throught the night once i wake it takes a while to get back to sleep i don't think i'm as bad as you though your daysmust pass you like a blurr hopefully things will settle for you does the doc seem to think it will pass or atleast settle

Hi Sassy I'm rooting for Runt also i love your ticker it'sso fitting for your growing little tribe good news your doc is dropping everything to fit you in . How are you feeling about everything is your doctor supporting you i hope he or she is not pressuring you to make choices your not ready or agreeing to i wish you all the best

Hi Suga sorry your having the headaches too as far as i know it is due to increased blood flow but yep could be allergies too i know i get increased sinus when pregnant and unfortunbately i can't take anything for it except panadol hope you feel better soon

Cin an uneventful ultrasound is what i want too i want everything too go smoothly as it sounds yours has sounds like you have a fast growing babe there good on you

Hey Mia your so right about the belly i find my belly looks bigger of a night time also not sure why it sure makes it feel a little more real though good to hear from you

Weezie hope things are settleing down for you and dh

to all the other mummies hope your all well

As for me i'm having a spell of the moods you were all talking about a little while ago where you can't stand being around people and everything is annoying hope it passes soon other than that nothing else to report

Top of the Morning to you !! Happy belated Paddy's day - Baltimore has a big parade, but alas, I missed it, and didn't even have a Guinness yesterday (pout) It is my favourite beer- and with all the B vitamins and Iron in it, it's good for you, too!

Rio thanks for the list! my DD is 19th October ( my bday is 15th so I'll either be 39 or 40 when the big day comes!!!)

Weezie- hope all is well with you, I almost wrote a rant for you I was so mad at your Dh for being insensitive!!! Is there any chance you could speak with one of his friends, and have him remind Dh what a huge thing this is for both of you, and that the health of you and the baby are in his hands as well? Perhaps it's just a hormone phase, but if he's not sympathetic to your feelings now, when? -really thinking about you-hugs

Tammy- good to hear from you- nice PIO! You are stronger than me - I am scared of Babies R Us - I went in their store for a friend last year, and came out crying!!- ok, could have been that I really wanted a baby of my own, but I'm pretty sure that place pumps something into the air to make you kind of a zombie  at any rate- what did you pick out??
Tammy, I am sorry about the RLS- that sucks maybe you can get a nap or two in the afternoon?

Sassy- good on you for getting them to schedule you properly!! The wee runt has a lot of hearts rooting for her/him! I hope you'll continue to get good news about the Quints when you go to your new doc

Sug- headache gone? hope so- yeah the acne is a drag, but it should clear up soon- mine lasted about 10 days, and now seems to be going away( I hope) anyone else starting to get "the mask"? I already have some genetic dark spots on my skin, so I've not noticed that yet for me

Mia- hi there!!

Cinci - your appt sounds perfect! it's wild how they'll start doubling in size now!!!

Corny- as always, marvelous to see you on this side - I am sure you cannot wait until US- only 6 days to go!!!!! weeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!

Jomae- know what you mean about the moods- this too shall pass (I hope)

This week is spring break, so Dh and I are working on the house. I'm feeling pretty good, and have no major complaints, except I am about over the PIOs- my butt is so welty, it's getting near impossible for DH to find a spot-grrrr well OB appt tomorrow- hope they'll have some good news, and an U/S- don't know if they'll do one or not- but I will push for it!!!

cheers to you all

BUMPIN' 08

Loopie- I am with you, I am overwhelmed and scared by Babies R us! I actually found a really cool list online about what to get for the baby and yourself when you come home. Stuff I never dreamed of! Are you working on the nursery yet? Ask for the vaginal supositories instead of PIO!
Jomae- my dates are a little off also, this calculator on this site said 10/12 and my RE said 10/13 and the baby is now measuring bigger, so it is very confusing. I am moodie too
Tammy- I am doing a Nuchal test also, on 3/31. I have an amnio scheduled just in case because of a trip I am going to take, but I don't plan on doing it unless the Nuchal comes with high odds of a defect. I have to admit I am really nervous about it. My DH has an adopted sister with severe developmental issues and she was born to a perfectly healthy couple that was 18 years old!!! So I really want to know what is going on with our baby. I don't like the odds of amnio so I would like to avoid it. The issue is that the results from Nuchal are not black and white. There are also 5% false positives, accuracy is 85 to 90% if done with triple panel blood test. Sorry you didn't get an u/s but good job on your blood pressure!
Sassy - you are one strong woman! Love your ticker, what a full house! Glad the Doc will see you sooner, I imagine the shock in the ladies voice! I am praying for healthy babies all around for you!
Suga- I look like a teenager now! Pimples galore! I have bad allergies also, this time is a killer here in CA with the pollen. Hope you feel better!
Cinci - good job on your bean! :)
Mia- glad you checked in! Cute bump!

How many other girls are doing Nuchal or CVS? :)
