Suga- Congrats on 11 weeks! We will be 11 on Sat! :) Woo-hoo! How awesome DH gets to see the little beans! I am jealous you live in Florida! How fun! I live in the land of fog... sorry about the headaches!
Mia-you delivered your two little brothers? Oh my gosh! WOW... are you getting any pain meds for the birth or not? DH and I are going to a super fancy restaurant, hopefully I won't have m/s that night!
Mellie - when is your Nuchal, I will put it in our calendar. These tests are stressing me out but like you said it just seems like it is one thing after another and I don't think we will ever stop worrying!!! So you are going for CVS not amnio? Good luck with your shopping for a doc, it is so important to get the right one! Talk about warped blind dates!
Mbre- I agree that we overanalize everything, with each day I am grateful for our baby and the lower chances of m/c, although now we have all the tests to worry about! Unfortunately I do wonder about the girls who disappeared if they m/c also and were too heartbroken to post, I hope they were just too busy with m/s! The nuchal is completely safe since it is like an u/s and combined with a blood test can give you the odds of having a baby with problems, it is 85 to 90% accurate when combined with blood test, it gives you odds not positive/negative results. You have to do it between 11 and 13w6d! You are not alone, I am grumpy and tired, with pimples and m/s! Please check out my other post so that we can upload pics to photobucket!
Katie- Have fun on your trip, it sounds great!
Corny- That 2WW for the u/s is almost as bad as the other 2WW, what you are feeling is normal. You still feel that way after too, sorry to say. I am just now getting a little more relaxed a bit. The days drag between u/s! Then you worry about tests and results :D it never ends! :) Wow I am working 8 to 5 and I am exhausted, I can't imagine 5 to 5! Vent anytime that's why we are here! PS - can you get a ticker so we can follow your dates? :) thanks! www.tickerfactory.com has some cute ones.
Cinci - you doing Nuchal?
Gecko- sorry you don't feel good, the pollen is terrible here :( I almost threw up last night for the first time, m/s is bad! Good job on your bean! wow eye sockets! If you get amnio do it with UCSF! But hopefully you won't need it!
Tammy- where are you?

Let's post some pics ladies!!!! :D :D :D

only have a minute to post - but wanted to see if anyone has had dizzy feeling like fainting spells. It has happened a few times today - Do I need to be more active?? Is it normal???

Rio: I will be doing a natural childbirth - if there are no complications. I always wanted to do a water birth - but I really like my ob-gyn and would like him to deliver since I have known him for so long.

Corny: jont the cowd of paranoia! I actually have not been worried since I heard the hb. SOmeone mentioned the chances of m/c after the hb is very low. So I am trying to enjoy the pg and m/s and dizziness w/o worrying!!

Ok gotta run!

Mia: Nothing new to report since the big post I left about my docs appt on Mon 17th page 34. No news is good news. LOL Have a great day off from working.

Rio: Love the photos. Looks like a real baby, now. So exciting. I cant wait till my next ultrasound...and get to see the baby again.

Corny: 2 more days! I cant wait to hear about it. What time is your appt? I hope you are east coast. LOL But, I dont think you are. I think you are a Cali girl, arent you?

I am sooo excited to have hit the 10 week point....1/4 of the way to a beautiful baby....and 1/2 the way till I find out if it is a boy/girl.

Happy Easter everyone and have a great weekend! :D

The board has been slow but no news is good news, means we are all settling down and happy with our pregnancies :)
How is the m/s going? I got it bad every night and can't wait to hit the 13 weeks!!

Mia :D I was hoping you would use the photobucket to also post pics of your nursery since you had all those awesome ideas! I work as an Engineer, I wish I was as organized as you think I am  That is probably what you will in your u/s - I am very excited for you, it is very cool seeing your little baby actually start looking like a baby!
Tammy - waiting to see your next u/s pics too!
Corny good luck on Monday, it is a lucky day! Post your little bean for us!

Loopie: Wow. PIO to 12 weeks? I finally just got off all my meds today, so I don't envy you.

Rio: thanks for setting up the photobucket, I will be uploading my US pictures. Love the picture!

Suga: don't know how you work and do class until 9pm. But I am glad to hear you only have to do it for a few more weeks. So when is your US this week?

Mellie: I think your shopping around for a doc is a great idea. I've been thinking I might go see a second perinatologist and then decide for sure who to go with.

Gecko: at least you will have the OB you want for delivery. Glad to hear the little bean is right on track.

Mbre: how did the GMAT go? I can't imagine trying to concentrate on a timed test while battling m/s.

Corny: how is your US wait. Rough that dh is gone these last few days... at least he could have helped distract you a bit.

So I was feeling all smug... my "morning sickness" had been quite manageable. But no longer. About 4 days ago I started getting much sicker... praying to the porcelain god on a regular basis, losing weight and having trouble keeping enough fluids down. Nothing I tried did much good. So I started on Z.ofran yesterday. I would like to kiss whoever came up with this fabulous drug . My nausea has decreased back to a manageable level and I haven't vomited in 24 hrs. What more can a pregnant woman ask for? I feel like I am now back among the living.

US on Monday afternoon. Curious to see how many of the little buggers still have heartbeats...

I went to upload my US picture, and then realized I will be getting better ones in the next four days (Monday with RE, Wednesday with Perinatologist). So I will wait until I have one where the fetuses are easier to see.

Have a great weekend!

Hello everyone and Happy Easter!

Sorry I haven't posted in a few days but I have been sick, sick, sick. The m/s is really setting in and on top of that I have had really bad headaches. I think it is sinus but haven't taken anything for them yet. I know I can have Tylenol and/or Benedryl but I am really hoping not to take anything during the first trimester. Silly, I know. We are having our whole family over for dinner tonight (what was I thinking?!?) and if I feel really bad I will have to take something. All I want to eat is bread, mac and cheese, and fruit juice. Anything else makes me super nauseous. Great nutrition, huh?

On top of all that, our little maltipoo, Lucy, got violently ill on Friday and has been hospitalized until this morning. We don't know what happened, but think she ate something in the yard that made her ill. The vet wasn't sure either and think she may have a bacterial bug or something. They kept her on IV fluids for two days, and she has to take antibiotics for the next 4-5 days. She has severe separation anxiety and it was really hard for us to not have her at home. Now that she is home all she is doing is sleeping on the couch. I am really thankful that she is ok, but it has been a stressful few days.

Sassy - I am right there with you on the m/s! I am told that it will go away in a few weeks, but I have been reading some of the other threads with moms that are several months ahead of us and some of them are still getting sick. Aargggg! Good luck on your u/s tomorrow! I am pulling for the runt.....

Rio - great u/s picture! I am waiting for a friend of mine to scan my u/s and email it to me so I can post it.

Corny - Which division does your DH work for? My DH works for Cal Fire (CDF) and is stationed in the mountains. He loves it, but ends up going on every major fire during the summer, so I won't see him much at all during fire season. My EDD is right during fire season too, so it will make life interesting.... Good luck on your u/s tomorrow! I can't wait to hear the results.

Gecko: So sorry about your dog!! I know how you feel. Our two dogs are our children as well and I dont know what I would do without them. I always tell people (and people without dogs dont understand) that they will have to medicate me if they die. (well, when they die but I hate talking like that). Hope she feels better soon!!!

Holy crap ladies, I just hate my husband today! (Not hate, hate is such a strong word) but I feel like crap today and he just does not understand!!! We went to church this morning (Happy Easter by the way) and since then I have been in a mood! It makes me dizzy to get up (probably cause I am not eating enough) and I have yet another headache! He has some church things tonight so luckily I will get some alone time with the puppies. Also, I am so lazy! I am usually a clean freak big time and now I just dont care how the house looks. I hate the way it looks and it grosses me out but I dont have the will or energy to do anything about it.

So I try not to take meds for the headaches unless they get bad. I have gone 3 days out of the past week without them plus tylenol really does nothing for them. I have to talk to the doctor about them cause they just make me hate work and having to go to school at night. Luckily one of my classes is over March 31 and the other is over April 15 or something like that. Just internship until the 24...yes and I work at my preschool at the same time...thus why the weekends I sleep all the time.

Wow, I did a lot of ranting and raving. Ultra sound Thursday which is exciting!!!

Hi everyone! Happy Easter! Happy Sunday...all that good stuff. Wow...thank you all so much for the words of encouragement and good wishes. This has by far been the toughest 2 weeks. But tomorrow morning we will know for sure what's going on. I am absolutely terrified of what we may (or may not) see. I still don't have any symptoms and as much as I feel so terrible for all of you that have m/s...and I know I'll regret saying this later...but I wish I had it! At least then I would know something was going on inside of me.

Tammy S - yes I am on the west coast. My appt is at 10 my time, so I imagine I won't get a chance to post until around noon or so. But I will for sure let you all know how it goes!

Gecko - DH works for LA. I don't know how you make it through fire season. I was a wreck last Oct when we had all of those crazy brushfires down here.

Well...I think we are going to order a movie, relax, and go to bed early. Goodnite my friends....and thank you for helping me get through the last 2 weeks. I couldn't have made it without you. :) :)

Good Luck tomorrow Corny! I still dont have any m/s, except for the occassional wave in the evening when I am really hungry...and a cracker stops it. I dont think that technically counts. So knock on wood...we are just the lucky ones. (so far):D
