Lara: yes I agree with Peqe: paintbrush in light socket= bad idea!! OO you are almost there!! I bet you are so excited. Dh and I were ttc for a long time as well - 8 yrs, and I know it wot seem real until I got my Mia in my arms!

Becky: one day down... !

Nims: pg brain, huh?? My dh doesnt buy any of the new pg excuses I keep giving him!

Peqe: I told you egg salad= yuckiness! mayo just makes me want to puke lately!! bleh!

I had an u/s today everything looks great. hb 165 - like a train! I get to see my ob now :-) I cooked an Easter meal yesterday - had a few friends over and then went ot see Horton Hears a Who with god children - lots of fun. But today it is back to work and grading papers :( Good news is no m/s for me for the last 2 weeks :) SO I was relieved to see that everything was alright with lil' Mia.

on another note..........you sound amazing!!! and yes, you do have time to shop for prams.....no worries!!

BUT YOU ARE CRAZY!!!! Well my baby has super powers and can here me. Sucks you can't buy anything for baby now since you r God sis is there...besides are you thinking bout moving too? I've seemed to pick up your M/S. I haven't had the pukies but pretty much feel ooky. I even had to go grocery shopping today and NOTHING looked good so I pretty much bought a bunch of crap and frozen/easy to make stuff. Though I did buy some already cut up fresh fruit. That sounds so good...well ok not right this moment but if I wasn't feeling ooky it would haha.

I can't believe how many apts you have!!! I'm so jealous!!! Did you have your OB from before? I don't get to go until next Thurs and I don't even think it will be that exciting of one. I've been released from the RE, though they will see me up to 12 weeks if I have problems but I don't have any. At 1pm on 4/3 I go see the nurse and she probably does a whole lot of nothing except taking my BP and weight and tell me to take my vitamin...boring crap that I shouldn't have to pay $100+ (ok well my insurance) for! Then At 1:30 I am supposed to meet the lady (NP) that previously worked with the midwife team and is now with the OB teams to help me decide what type of team to pick...she's gonna talk to me about the differences there...zzzzzzz and I'm sure I will STILL come away not knowing a friggen thing! Then who knows from there when my next apt will be. Are you gonna have a nuchal scan??? I'm gonna ask for one just so I can see the baby again haha. I'd Also love to get a 3D/4D one at some point which I know should be later. I think we should get one EVERY week

No it is new job tomorrow...I'm waiting on that one for as long as I can! I will only be picking up a few days here and there til end of June when I go there fulltime. I will probably have to tell them before that point (the way my clothes are fitting haha). My current job can just go to hell for all I care, I did email my current boss last nite to tell him where to stuff the managers position "because of health reasons". I can give a shit less if anyone other than my coworkers ever finds out there, I will be long gone when the baby comes!

Now you see why I'm starting my baby shopping NOW! There is tooooooo much to chose from!!! My GOD!!! Are you picking your stroller/pram based on color??? Maybe THAT is the route to go hahaha. Are you gonna find out on Thursday what the sex is in there???? Are you gonna tell us :D

Nims: Yes choose based on color... I mean what is most important that the stroller works, or that you look good pushing it???

Peqe: OH I forgot you have a ninja turtle in there... Yeah fruit was something I could usually get down, but I really havent had m/s for 2 weeks (except for one or two days!) I cant believe I am a couple weeks away from the end of the first trimester! I am going to my OB/GYN - I have been seeing him for 8 years or more, so I really dont need to make any decisions b/c I like him so much. Your process sounds horrible! If I didnt have my obgyn - I would prob use a midwife. I dont like alot of the pushiness and monitors and all of hospitals - a midwife would help mediate that. Now nuchal or any scans for me. Just u/s through the ob and that is it. I really dont need to see my baby - I mean it looks so unreal - I can just go online and pretend the pics there are mine! lol

ICSI: Yikes, no 9 is too much!! Well we havent told anyone but one friend yet. I will prob tell god sister last She is 19 yrs old but best friends with SIL (remember we arent talking to dh's family) And dh doesnt want them to know until much later, so that is relaly why we havent told anyone b/c if you tell one, you have told them all! In June I will go with dh to his home country and we will be able to tell everyone then. I am thinking about telling my family late next month. I want to get them all together and my mom's bday would be a good time (though I know she could care less.) And potatoes are the norm for this house :) In fact I just made twice baked potatoes for Easter!! You see why a no carb diet would never work for me??

Mia- the midwives in this dept work in the same dept/location as the OBs. I know they have a different philosophy but you still go to the same place to push the kid out. For me, I'm in no concern of the more "natural way"...to me that actually scares the crap outta me haha.

I told one of my other coworkers tonite when we went out for sushi! No worries everything I had was cooked...bummer really cuz I'd LOVE some of the raw stuff really! But still it was sooooo yummy!!! Then we ran to Borders bookstore cuz she wanted to get our other coworker's new baby some books. I was picking out turtle books for her to buy but she was like no I'm gonna buy that for your baby haha. So now I have a collection of baby books already!

I'm so ready for bed! I have to get up even EARLIER to go to my new job for training! I was supposed to go in for 7:30 but now it is 7 cuz there is an inservice presentation on investigational drugs...omg can you say I'm SOOOO not gonna be awake for that! haha

if only!! Picking it on colour would make life a little easier but no am picking it upon durability - THEN colour!!! Hey one has to look good eh!!

Steph - nope not finding out the sex on thursday - wanna keep one surprise til the end although feel in my waters it may be a boy .

Off sick today, although don't feel sick - but as soon as I do too much then this bugs becomes worse again and then I'm coughing like a tropper and know that work is pretty bad at the mo, so not risking it.......

Angie - hey no probs hun - just say the word and I'll be your local pusher!

Good morning ladies -

I tried to wait a little longer, but my heart was beating so fast as I lay in bed this morning having to pee so bad - I couldn't wait any longer.

And - I'm glad I didn't wait!!!

It's a hopeful excitement at this point. I'm cautiously optimistic. ;) I know I gotta keep up the PMA - and I am - memories are just tough to get over.

Anyway - I wanted to let you all know. DH doesn't know yet - he fussed at me the last time I POAS for fear that it would be a false positive. (It was the same day - 10dp3dt - as last time). So I'm going to let him wait until Monday like everyone else - 'cept u and my mom!

Thank you ALL for all your well wishes, thoughts and prayers. You guys really are a wonderful support - I just hope I can be as helpful to each of you as you have been for me. Image Image

I am sooo happy for you. I hope to be not too far behind you. This is soo exciting.

Now tell me what kind of symptoms have you had during the waiting and implantation etc. I just need to know what I might be feeling. I have had twinges and sometimes cramps that last for a bit. Now I know that my ovaries and cervix are still sore from retrieval so I just don't know what I am feeling. I am staying positive and talking to all of the embies every night and day.
