Corny: I had m/s 6-8 weeks - since then low appetite but no m/s - everyone is DIFFERENT - dont worry - that is an order!!!

Suga: Alone time will do you good :) I know what you mean about the house. That is why I secretly hired cleaners on Thursday - and thought they dont do as agood a job as I would - it feels sooo good!

Gecko: Sorry you have been sick - pass it on over to Corny ( :D ) Yeah I cooked a big meal yesterday too - cooking kinda grosses me out latelty - the smells and the heat - yuck. But it turned out great.

Sassy: Oh I am so sorry you are feeling so bad - glad the meds are helping. Cant wait to hear the report today. I am really pulling for as many as your body can take - you know? Is dh pampering you?? I hope you have lots of supportive ppl.

Rio: Well dh and I are considering selling the house... so I have to wait on the nursery. Plus god sister lives with us and she doesnt know yet! But I did find some really great shelves at Lowes that is similar to what I wanted to build - and prob cheaper! I went by pottery barn for kids, to get some ideas. I love the simple colors vs themed nurseries... so I am still thinking :) My pic today was not that clear - so I wont post it. I think the RE just got a pic at the wrong angle.

U/s today showed one happy healthy bambino!! Scheduled appt with Ob for Thursday :) Everything is moving along smoothly. PLUS one more week of PIO!!! WOO-HOO. My butt thanks they RE for this news!! his week just evry other day and then I can stop!! YES!! Can you tell I am happy about this?? :oP I am eating fine - though little. It is like my stomach shrank! (not the belly just the stomach!!)

Take care all you pg mommas!!

Ok..the moment we've all been waiting for. First of all, when RE walked into the u/s room he warned me not to be disappointed if we didn't see anything. He said with how low the betas were, he wasn't expecting to see a baby and really thought I would have mis-carried anything that had been in there. Well..boy did I show him!!! We have 2 strong healthy heartbeats!!! Not only do we have 2, but they are identical! OMG we can't believe it. Identical twins! Baby A had a heart rate of 125, baby B is 130. I am 6w6days today, but the babies are measuring 7w1day. We saw them flickering and got to hear them too. It was the greatest sound I think I've ever heard in my life. Ok...I need to try and calm down. I'm still a little weak in the knees. I'll post the beautiful pictures on photobucket.

I love you guys!!! Yay!!!

I asked my OBGYN about when I can quit the progesterone...he says call the RE. Ugh. So, I call and they tell me 10-12 weeks. OK so is it 10-12 weeks since I started it...or 10-12 weeks pregnant. Their response again... 10-12 weeks. That is a standard stupid answer. I asked for a progesterone test. They wont do it. Ugh. So we decided to go 12 weeks due to my age and to err on the side of precaution.

Sassy: Do you have an u/s today? Good Luck!!!

Corny: Cant wait to hear what is happening.

Hope everyone had a great weekend. :D

Hey Mommas!

Corny- I'm dying here waiting for the good news!!!!

Suga- Your not alone when it comes to being livid with DH. It happens. I hope you enjoyed your alone time last night.

Mia- Great news on the bean. Scan the pic! Scan the pic!

gecko- sorry about the m/s. And how terrible about your doggie. I know the feeling. My pekingese was hospitalized Tuesday. I was lucky enough to get him back Wednesday. But we hate being separated. I swear I think it was a combo of the stress of the stepkids and the tiny burger we cooked for him that put him there.

Sassy- how did the appointment go today?

Tammy- glad to read that everything is going pretty smoothly.

Loopie- sounds like you've been having a fairly normal week. How wonderful!

Rio- I LOVE the pic! Your baby is so cute. I hope my beans look that good next time I see them.

Well, DH is trying to be on his best behavior. And the skids have left!!!!! :D :D One left last Tuesday and the other left yesterday. So, I couldn't be happier. However the drama continued at 10 o'clock last night and carried on for over an hour. Those of you who are stepmoms can probably imagine. It was pure hell the entire time they were here and DH has no clue because he was at work all the time and he never had to tend to his own kids. rrrrr.... Anyway. I was so strung out that the m/s had me vomiting last week and not sleeping but about 3 hours a night. But while DH was gone for 8 hours yesterday driving his daughter home, I took a wonderful nap! Drool everywhere. :D Easter was pretty good. I go for my last appointment with RE tomorrow. Hopefully my little beans will look as good as Rio's. And I went to the gym today. Man, am I out of shape. I walked for 40 minutes and I felt so much pulling and tugging. Wow. I guess my body really needed that. I will try and make it a point to walk at least 30 minutes a day/3 days a week. Also, I booked a short cruise out of New Orleans for DH and I! We are going the 2nd weekend in May. It's just a short 4-day cruise. But at least it's something for just us before the babies come (and the skids summer visit :( ) DH took me shopping and now all I need to do is order a swimsuit. Yikes!!! I feel like I have put on too much weight too soon. I plan on asking my RE tomorrow. They probably won't see it as a problem. Especially since they have NEVER weighed me. And I love them for that

Well, I better run. I hope all of you had a blessed and wonderful Easter. And I can't wait to catch up with all of you.

Sorry about that Tammy. My RE said 10 weeks of pg. Doesnt our body naturally produce it by this point, or is it not needed anymore?? I dont know.

I am so excited for you! WOW! Miracles do happen!!! I told you   !! I am so happy! You and DH must be in the clouds! Good job momma!!!! See your due date might be in Oct after all! Dying to see pics!
Tammy My OB said that at 10 weeks the placenta takes over and no need for meds... but each one is different... can you do vaginal suppostiories instead?
Weezie So glad things are better! Sounds like DH is really trying. A cruise will be wonderful! Can't wait for your us pics!!! I can completely relate to you, although I work and so does DH so I don't have alone time with SD. But we have her 50% of the time which means every week, no breaks  Dh really is a wonderful dad and he tries so hard and all he gets from her is indifference and attitude and she is only 11! Good job going to the gym, I need to do that too, I get so tired when I get home and the m/s, I am a lazy blob these days! Happy to have you back! :D

corny - HOORAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D  :D  :D :D I am so happy for you! I hope you gave that jerk doctor a VERY smug look on your way out! You must be over the moon! Congratulations!

weezie - I am glad you posted. You were missed. I am glad things are improving with your DH. It is never easy blending families.

sassy- What's the news???????

Tammy - I started weaning off the progesterone starting at 9 weeks and stopped all meds at 11 weeks and it has been fine. I am told the placenta takes over by then. The PIO shots were the first to go then my doses of vaginal suppositories gradually reduced.

Hope everyone is well. I am hanging in with the m/s......

All right... I am just going to post a quick update before I fall asleep.

The US today still showed 5 heartbeats. Runt is hanging in there. To be honest, I really only expected there to be 4 today, so I was a bit surprised. I posted the US picture on the photobucket site.

Sorry no personals... I'm exhausted!

Perinatologist on Wednesday.

Congrats Corny- Way to prove them wrong!!!

Sassy- I'm so happy runt is still hanging in there!!

Weezie- My poor dh has to put up with my bratty 18yo dd. I stay out of it though and let him set his own rules with her. Otherwise he would be held captive in his own house by her. I have a friend who has a sd live with her and she's not allowed to say anything to her and the sd is like 20yo. When my dd and my dh starts fighting about something I usually go outside and work in my flower garden or something so they can work it out themselves.
My dd is not really crazy about me having another child. She has been an only child for 18 years and I think she wishes she could keep it that way. At first she said that she was happy so that way I would stay out of her business because I will be busy with the baby. It has backfired on her....now she has a hormonal mom that makes her walk the line most of the time. She is leaving in Aug for college and that is going to be very difficult...especially with all the extra hormones. I know my dh is ready for her to go though...lol.

Nuchal testing on Thursday....
