Hi Wibbs
I was just about to reply to this thread - you've had a busy afternoon sending all your messages out to the SCB crew!
The hairs on your legs is a Tracey Sharpism so believe it at your peril!!! Apparently if they grow slower then its a boy! I have mine waxed and so grow back differently to if they are shaved anyway - also I'm not sure how this works for twins. Perhaps if arm-pit or 'nunee' hair grows fast its a girl and if legs grow slow its a boy.........!
My midwife said the same about the heartbeat EXCEPT both mine were awake when she listened to their heartbeats because she told me they were kicking about - she actually said twin two was thrashing around! Great, looks like I've got a hyperactive one already - must have been all the percy pigs!!! Too many e-numbers!
I'll be glad to get the scan out of the way on Monday. I'm really looking forward to seeing them both again, but 20 weeks is such a big important scan its a little nerve wracking, especially as we opted not to have any tests, so this will be our first chance to check all looks ok and they are growing without any major problems!
I know I'm only 31 so I'm not really in a high risk group and I shouldn't worry too much. I'll just be glad to have things confirmed as ok - you know what I mean!!
As for the bloody smileys, don't be silly. I click on them like this - "

- and all that happens is the words come up not the picture. I reckon my dh has put some kind of restriction on my computer!! I tried to access the abercrombie & fitch website to see if I cuold return some tracksuit bottoms my mum bought when she was out in New York (she bought me XXL for MEN! Can you imagine what an XXL American Man looks like - if my @rse ever gets as big as these trousers I want to be put down!!!!!!
anyway, I tried to look at the website and it came back telling me it was an adult sex site and not suitable for me to look at!! I tried to buy some new maternity undies from Bravismo and was told this was a sex site. I hardly think anything related to maternity is at all linked to sex! I didn't even have sex to get pregnant for gods sake!!!
Maybe this and the smileys is just more sad evidence of how thick I am when it comes to IT. I do try...
Whilst we are having a 'worts and all' conversation on the subject of constipation, I'm not normally one for going to the loo (pg or otherwise), so I don't think its abnormal to wait a week for a bit of action, so I'm probably not the best person to advise you on this!! However, I have been given lactulose (which is sugary medicine and tastes like sweets!) that is supposed to help get you going - you'd have to check with the pharmacist whether its ok to take when pg! Nicer than the revolting fyber-gel but not really as effective.
Like you, I'm pretty big now. I look ready to drop. My dh thinks its great the bigger I get - I'm not sure he'll be saying this at 37 weeks! The thought of growing at this rapid pace for another four months freaks me out - I think I might pop! This may have something to do with my latest fettish - another M&S delight - Jam Roly Poly with Custard. Delicious, especially if it follows a big plate of chips!
I'm not worry about weight - I spend my whole life worrying about how many points/calories are in everything I eat, for once I'll just eat what I jolly well feel like and get my big fat @ss down to weight watchers after these two are born!
