Nikola

Good Luck for Monday with your scan :P :P .
Keep us updated with how the little ones are doing, and you of course

Have you managed to suss out the smileys yet. :P

Not wanting to lower the tone but does anyone still have very bad constipation problems...(how I would love a bit of period poo    )
The doctor gave me two carrier bags of fiber gel, I've never tasted anything so discusting in my life.
But hopfully it will do the trick    sorry about this but I thought it would get better after stopping those pessaries.
I drink lots of water more than 2ltrs aday and eat lots of fruit and veg, if anyone says that I'm just full of S**T that's it. Maybe thats why I look so big...this has got to be sorted before I give birth

Just read your reply on other post, can you really tell by looking at the hairs on your legs??????

The heartbeat thing....well a friend of mine is a midwife and she said its rubbish as the babys heart rate is faster when awake than asleep so not consistent with any studies..so that blew my theory out the window.

Shape of bump well all out front....look's like I ate all the Turkey WHOLE legs aswell. (appoliges to all those veggie people).

Asked dh if he could take a picture but he said that he would have to get a wide lens....!!!! what does he mean!!!! :x :x

Hi Wibbs

I was just about to reply to this thread - you've had a busy afternoon sending all your messages out to the SCB crew!

The hairs on your legs is a Tracey Sharpism so believe it at your peril!!! Apparently if they grow slower then its a boy! I have mine waxed and so grow back differently to if they are shaved anyway - also I'm not sure how this works for twins. Perhaps if arm-pit or 'nunee' hair grows fast its a girl and if legs grow slow its a boy.........!

My midwife said the same about the heartbeat EXCEPT both mine were awake when she listened to their heartbeats because she told me they were kicking about - she actually said twin two was thrashing around! Great, looks like I've got a hyperactive one already - must have been all the percy pigs!!! Too many e-numbers!

I'll be glad to get the scan out of the way on Monday. I'm really looking forward to seeing them both again, but 20 weeks is such a big important scan its a little nerve wracking, especially as we opted not to have any tests, so this will be our first chance to check all looks ok and they are growing without any major problems!

I know I'm only 31 so I'm not really in a high risk group and I shouldn't worry too much. I'll just be glad to have things confirmed as ok - you know what I mean!!

As for the bloody smileys, don't be silly. I click on them like this - " - and all that happens is the words come up not the picture. I reckon my dh has put some kind of restriction on my computer!! I tried to access the abercrombie & fitch website to see if I cuold return some tracksuit bottoms my mum bought when she was out in New York (she bought me XXL for MEN! Can you imagine what an XXL American Man looks like - if my @rse ever gets as big as these trousers I want to be put down!!!!!!

anyway, I tried to look at the website and it came back telling me it was an adult sex site and not suitable for me to look at!! I tried to buy some new maternity undies from Bravismo and was told this was a sex site. I hardly think anything related to maternity is at all linked to sex! I didn't even have sex to get pregnant for gods sake!!!

Maybe this and the smileys is just more sad evidence of how thick I am when it comes to IT. I do try...

Whilst we are having a 'worts and all' conversation on the subject of constipation, I'm not normally one for going to the loo (pg or otherwise), so I don't think its abnormal to wait a week for a bit of action, so I'm probably not the best person to advise you on this!! However, I have been given lactulose (which is sugary medicine and tastes like sweets!) that is supposed to help get you going - you'd have to check with the pharmacist whether its ok to take when pg! Nicer than the revolting fyber-gel but not really as effective.

Like you, I'm pretty big now. I look ready to drop. My dh thinks its great the bigger I get - I'm not sure he'll be saying this at 37 weeks! The thought of growing at this rapid pace for another four months freaks me out - I think I might pop! This may have something to do with my latest fettish - another M&S delight - Jam Roly Poly with Custard. Delicious, especially if it follows a big plate of chips!

I'm not worry about weight - I spend my whole life worrying about how many points/calories are in everything I eat, for once I'll just eat what I jolly well feel like and get my big fat @ss down to weight watchers after these two are born!

You made me laught so much I nearly peed myself :D :D ............you did it you sent me a smily.... :D :D :D
when you click on them that's what happens the words come up but when they are sent the picture appears, if you click preview before sending you will see all your smileys are in the right places.

Might have to get me some of the sweet stuff for the poo magic, me likes sweet things at the mo and chips...still have a thing for toast, took a loaf of bread with real butter to work today made it in the kitchen and made every one hungry so they all had some.(pigs)

Can you get done for looking a porn on the net????
When we needed some hardcore for the garden my dh told me to look it up on the web, you can guess what came up (if you excuse the wording)   since then I've been waiting for a knock on the door from the boys in blue  .
And he works in IT maybe he did it on purpose.

Right off to look at the hairs on me legs to see if they are slower than normal, I hope so anyway as I wont be able to bend over soon to shave them.....god only knows what the bikini line is like  maybe have to book a defuzz before baby due to be born.
(have you and tracy s got one leg that grows slower for the boy and fast for the girl??)
Take care and good luck for Monday I'm sure everything is ok.

Hi Nikola

Just popping in to wish you luck for your scan too. I am sure it will be fine. Please find out the sex. No one seems to be doing the toilet roll thing anymore, maybe we should start it up again although I am only just beginning to show.

Wibbs you do make me laugh well you both do actually. I had heard about the hairs on your legs thing but thought if they grew quiker it was a boy. There is also the one about eating the end crusts of a loaf of bread you are having a girl. It's all bonkers if you ask me. I don't think you can get done for looking at some porn on the net just risky stuff you know like Gary Glitter did if you get my drift. I had to change my email address recently as I was being sent loads of porn related crap and I was sick of it. I think it's just embarrassing if you have to have your computer fixed and they check the hard drive. I am probably talking total rubbish but it sounded good.

I was going to tell Nikola that she was sending emoticons without knowing it but you saved me the trouble. It threw me at first too.

Anyway enough of this I must put dinner on. Take care you lot.

Love dagny x

Good luck Nikola for Monday from me too. The scans from this stage on are lovely because you can see proper babies and get to know what they'll look like.

As for the weight thing, having twins is definitely the best diet I've ever been on - 6 months after giving birth, I was the lightest I've been in years, despite a diet of constant chocolate and crisps!

Thank you all for all your good wishes. I'll post Monday afternoon and let you know all is ok! Fingers crossed.

I hope you all have a lovely weekend!!

love nikola.xx

ps Jules, I'm pleased about the after birth weight thing. I guess you have double as much running around you don't have time to worry about eating and dieting! In that case, I'll just carry on with my jam roly poly (had some last night when watching Frost!) and not worry about it!

Right I have come in to be sensible which is more than you and Wibbs Nik!!!! Jules is very mature - I strive to be like her and Dagny is getting lead astray. "Believe at your peril"" indeed - not my fault people tell me these things - anyway Nik you were always quoting my "isms" at your specialist who must have stuck pins in me for months at the sheer mention of my name. Anyway it is faster growing hairs for a boy - mind you pg does that anyway doesn't it - worked with Oliver. Wibbs you plonker it is hairs not legs - why would Nik and I have one leg longer than another - unless were standing on a stoll - my system is about to chukc me out - drives me mad - I think DH is doing a Nik dh and crashing it
Good luck monday

I am back now - ever since I have been playing with Harry Potter it keeps throwing me off and not it is not a porn site! I am fascinated by these xxl for men US trousers - ask you - perhaps Nik you could share them - saves us all buying some - we could carve them up and then stitch them up for legs and bingo - off we go - either that or you could redecorate them and use them for a nursery of a new office?????
I am so full of good ideas aren't I - suprise myself sometimes - think I am wasted I really do.
Period poo - mmmm well unlike you lot I have ulcerative colitis so don't ever seem to get to the constipated stage and my colon is really giving me gip again at the moment - was better today as DH did not get up early and wake me up or my colon but struggling not to go back on steroids so can't help sorry - tried prune juice - sounds disgusting I know but wish I had a use for fibro gel - my dad is addicted to the stuff but he talks a load of shit too most of the time
Must go now but best of luck for Monday - I will be waiting.

Hi Nikola,

Just popped in to say hope all goes well at your scan, I know how nerve wracking it can be but I am sure all will be fine. Please make sure you find the time to post to let us know your news.

Well I didn't have any of tests either to be honest Nikola but its always on the back of your mind what if, but best to try and get by.

My scan they said everything looked ok, but I just can't wait for the big day now.

Good Luck.
