morning ladies

stephjim - glad you're keeping yourself busy with having the kids till tuesday. it's less than a week to go for you now hun. how you feeling??

angel - hey hun, good to hear from you!! (*waves*)

icsi - no, dh is not a smoker....he used to be years ago and smoked heavily (about 40 a day) for years but gave up about 15 years ago. i'm sure they'll make a difference. god, if the proxeed were so much more expensive than the zita west ones thats awful!! i thought the zita west ones were expensive enough!!!  but hey, anything to give the swimmers a speedboat!!! yes, got a working toilet now....    it's all done except for a couple of finishing touches but they dont count. so all done, ready for baby! thank god. how are your stepsons behaving themselves??

chriss - hey hun, much better thanks. glad you had a good experience with the booking in nurse. it makes it so much easier when they put your mind at rest. and if a nurse recommends a doctor because her own daughter went there, then you know you've hit the jackpot!!!! best of luck for next week!!

steph - you're so right about work. will hand over everything this afternoon and then just go in for a couple of hours tomorrow morning to say goodbye (my team are all coming up to see me). the hospital called yesterday and said they could fit me in for my liver scan tomorrow lunch time so i know have to leave work by then anyway! glad you've decided to go OB, especially with those heart palpatations....hope they dont affect the baby....let us know what they say! (and hope they dont last the next 32 weeks!! )

hope - hows the new mommy??

rachel - oohhh, you rest up my dear. sounds like early stages of pre-eclampsia which you cant mess with! let us know what the midwife says today about your b/p. if it doesnt go down at all and they actually diagnose you with pre-eclampsia then they might induce you before your due date. take it easy hun and try and keep us updated. xxx

hi to everyone else!!!

got midwife app at 11.30 today (double app) to go through a hospital checklist. then have to pop in to the bank and will then go to work to hand over all my work. then tomorrow morning, at work my team are coming up to say goodbye and then i have my liver scan at the hospital at 12.45. do you think they could slip down with the ultrasound equipment and give me a little peek??

xxx

Hellooooo,

Hope – Where are you girl??? I can only imagine the wonderful feeling you must be experiencing. You have had a wonderful positive outlook and keep that up cause this baby (ies????) is sticking around till the end. Can’t wait to hear your beta. Image

Stephjim – you are the next in line to announce your BFP!!! Always a good idea to keep busy to distract you from every twinge you feel. Your story about DH waking you up with everything ready for your shot made me smile. So sweet!!

Steph – you are on vacation girl. Vacation from hell, not from us!!!! I did expect you to post a lot more, but instead you disappear on us. :x No, I don’t want to listen to any excuses you may have.

Image

How are you feeling anyway? Its a good idea to have those palpitations checked, even though you know its going to be nothing.

ICSI – so good to hear from you too. Glad your vitamins have finally arrived. How are you keeping anyway? Make sure you do loads of work so that you can have time to rest up when you get that BFP!

Miracle
– How are you girl? Hows the situation with DH’s job? Has he found anything else?

Nimble – so sorry to hear about you getting ill on holiday. I hope you’re feeling better now. I’m sorry, but did you say you were going to find out whether it’s a boy/ girl or do you want a surprise?

Shantala – sorry you’ve been so poorly. You must be relieved though that you’re about to start your maternity leave. Yours and the baby’s health is more important than anything else. Hope the scan goes well tomorrow and that the rest of your pregnancy goes without any more troubles.

Lara – Soooo excited for you. Glad that the midwife is coming to give you daily checks now. Gosh, if the baby is so big, you must be having a difficult time waddling oooooppppsss…… I meant walking of course! You take care hun, and tell your princess that its not only her mommy and daddy but a whole bunch of your forum friends excited for her entry to our world. :D

Becky – how goes the injections? I always did the sub cutenous ones on my tummy and barely just felt a prick. What day are you on again? Hope there isn’t any bruising. Everyday is taking you closer to stimms, then ER, ET and finally your BFP. Yaayy!!!

Chriss – You sound very optimistic about your new RE and clinic. Good luck for your procedure next week. Please keep up the faith that it will happen – sometimes we don’t understand why nature has a way of delaying our plans.

Jenbabes – I know you’re not going through an easy time but you sound so upbeat. I really really admire that. Have you booked your holiday yet? Bet you can’t wait. The break will do you and DH a world of good.

Su - How are things with you? You must be releived after your scan. Looks like a boy to me :) , but then again, what do I know?

Jayne - hope you're feeling better. Have you been able to take some time off work? Are both your babies kicking you yet?

Did I miss anyone?

Take care girls
Ang

Don’t you lot have anything better to do than stay on this forum all day??? Don’t you realise how hard it is for me to keep up with you all if I don’t check the forum at least 5 times a day??

Image

Seriously though, I love you all and please don’t stop posting. Don’t know what I’d do without you. I have a fantastic support network from my family plus in-laws. But even then I feel like they don’t really understand the pain of IF. I hope I don’t sound ungrateful; I have no reason to complain but even then I just hate being told that I need to get on with my life and that a baby won’t necessarily make my life complete as I’ll always want something else. Maybe that’s true, but at this point all I want is a baby. And I don’t know how to switch off my emotions and “get on with my life” like nothing ever happened.

Ok, I’m gonna stop whinning now! I had stopped taking my vitamins and taking care of my health. But now I’m going to take charge again. September is a looong time to wait for another cycle, but I’m going to try and use the next few months to get my body/ health back in shape. Both the RE and my doc have suggested that I do something about my stress levels which are constantly on a high. The RE said that stress is probably the reason I got ill both times after starting stimms. So looking for yoga classes as a possibility. And back to the gym!!!! Image.

And I’m going to stick the following to my fridge – see if that stops me for reaching out for the ice cream tub!

Image

Love you all

Ooohhhh, forgot to say thanks to all you girls across the pond for inviting me (to come and clean your places)!! I could hop on the plane and go to Steph's first, then Hope, Mir and Stephjim. Sorry Mia - you have 3 cleaning ladies, I don't want to be the fourth as I'm used to being first!

DH was pretty amused by that. But he's not so amused when I tell him off every two minutes for getting things messy again. He's still very happy with the meals. With my in-laws being here for easter I cooked 3 course meals on all three days and I think they did not know how to react as they expected me to be a tearful mess. Oh well, I'm going to take a break from the cleaning today and put my feet up instead.

 I thought you wouldn't notice. See, I want to stick to the east coast so I don't have to do too much travelling. But I later realised that you're not too far so I could do that. Only thing is when I come to see you we're going on 10 mile walkks everyday girl. No 3 course meals for you and me. We are preparing our bodies for that BFP!!!!!

Well done on losing 10lbs. Thats amazing. Share your secret with us.....please....please.

Hello everyone!!! I am feeling good. Staying busy. Feel twinges every once ina while an my ovaries still hurt some especially if I am am lying on my side and I stretch.

Today I got all the shot stuff ready and then woke DH up with kisses to do the shot. He is really having a hard time dealing with my mood swings, but he will just have to deal with it. See he has a low threshhold for irritability. I am sure that is a smoker thing. You know? Go 5 freaking minutes without a cigarrette and bite your head off. Just kidding. He is not that bad. :)

Shantala - I bet you are getting excited, doing the hospital checklist and all. That is sooo much closer than you have been. Right?

Lara, take care of yourself. Don't let the BP thing go too far, they will get you on that mag sulfate. Are you having any contractions yet? Are you dilating yet?

Angel, I am glad you are holding everything together. We will all have our time so don't lose hope.

Hope, sorry I missed you on chat last night. Still hiding from DH?

Steph, sorry I did not get back to chat before you went to bed. The family did not leave until like 930.

Chriss, so glad to have the tv back. Now we appreciate it again going from 65" to 32" back to 65" wow what a difference.

Mia, how you are feeling?

Mir, you doing ok?

Nimble, have fun with your scan.

Angie, how are you doing?

Jenbabes - you are sounding great. Keep up the good attitude.

Su - loved the pics. I think it is a boy as well.

Jayne - I bet you are getting excited. I hope I have twins in me.

Family leaving in a few hours and then I am picking up the kids at their moms at 4:45p then we have them until Tuesday night.

I will be in and out all day hope to hear from you all.

Becky how many more days to go now?

Hello Ladies!!!

Everyone is very quiet, you are right Hope. Sorry I have been quiet, I feel like a big dork because my tmt is up in the air right now.
Thank you to everyone who has asked about my DH job situation. Well he is still working (so I am grateful) just hoping the phone call he received last weekend would hurry up and work itself out. The owner of the business called and told DH that he will be needing him within the next month or so. So I am hoping it is sooner than later. But of course we are still looking in the meantime.

Hope- How are you? I love your attitude. So proud of you. I think about you often. I wish we all could meet some place and meet eachohter.

Mia- How are you Momma? So happy for your US. That is really great. I think you are going to have a boy. Just my thought anyway!!! Has your DH decided if he will quite his job or not? Take care.

Chriss- How is my buddy? I am so very proud of you as well. You sound so awesome. I am so happy you are "feeling" this RE! I just know this new DR is going to give you your MIRACLE!!! I just cant wait. So this test you are about to have done, that is where they put the dye in your uterus? I am sure you have had that done before, but when I had to have that done, OMG i was in so much pain. I hope yours is nice and smooth. Keep us updated girl!

Lara- Whoa baby! Take care you. I hope everything calms down for you. I am so sorry you are having complications.

Peq- They do that test to see if your uterus (sp?) and tubes are ok. How are you feeling? I know you have been real tired. I think it is great you and your Mom are so close! So you have bought your bedding, right? How exciting. When is your next US?

Stephjim- GOOD PMA GIRL! Keep it up. Pretty soon you will have your BFP!!!

Angie- You are such a funny girl! You crack me up. So glad you received your vitamins. I hope they do wonders for your DH!! So sorry you have been so busy at work. We have been crazy too!!

Shantala- Your princess will be here soon!!! Hang in there!

Su- I just LOVED those US pictures. They are so sweet. Have you bought anything for baby yet? By the way, I think it looks like a baby girl!! :D

Becky- Thinking of you and all your POKES! When you are sore or just getting frustrated with them all, just think about the BFP you will be getting soon.

Jenbabes- You sound very upbeat as well! You girls are just awesome! How are you? Where are you and DH going on Holiday, have you decided?

Jen1d- as always, thinking of you... :(

I am very sorry to anyone I might have missed!!! Hope everyone is having a FAB day!!! Babydust, sticky embie dust and love to everyone!!! :D :D :D

Steph, I had the dye test a while ago, they do it to check out your tubes. Often before IUI. This new thingy is a camera in the uterus to look more closely... for fibroids, etc?????
