I have my 2nd scan on monday the receptionist had acutally booked me for a week later by mistake so i'm glad i'm now seeing the bean sooner than i thought sorry i won't be able to scan it for you as my doc doesn'teven give me a picture old machine apparently but i will get one to show everyone from my nuchal scan. good news my hospital appointment will be the 14th of april instead of the end of the month as first expected i think they've put me through as high risk not sure why maybe my age not sure not that i'm that old either turning 33 14th of October.

Happy Birthday, Rio!!! Have a great day! :D

Rio: I am doing good. Still cant sleep much. I was a little nauseous tonight, but still no real morning sickness. I posted my u/s from my 7th week. We have been laughing at how our little guy looks like .....(you decide). Check it out and tell me what you think he looks like. You gotta use your imagination. That is awesome that your little one is measuring ahead of schedule.

Jomae sounds like a fun time. I'm so jealous. I cant wait till we are done with the snow...and the sun is shining again.

Hoekey: It is so good to hear from you and that you continue to check in on us.

Corny: I will continue to pray for you and the babies and hope they are not sharing the same sac. My DH has been following your story too and says... Congrats!

Sassy: Love the u/s pic. Sooo cool.

Loopie: I get car sick, now, too. I see your NT is the same day as me...we seem to be doing everything the same days. So cool....my pregnancy twin.

Mellie: I turn the big 40 on May 30th. We plan to maybe go out of town that week ...cause our 1st year anniversary is May 26th, too. I guess we will be having our wedding cake, but not our leftover wine...that we made for our wedding on that day. LOL Oh well. I told DH that I wanta go to the Melting Pot Restaurant for my bday, too. If I cant have a cocktail at least I can have chocolate peanutbutter fondue. LOL I remember ....I think Mia mentioned that Texas has a melting pot there too. I have never been there. I cant wait.

Weezie: Again, I am soo sorry. I hope that everything works out okay and that it can be reabsorbed with no problems. I am praying for you.

Katie: Glad you had a good time. I know what you mean...how your own bed can be sooo welcoming.

Mia: How are you feeling?

Gecko: Hope you start to feel better soon. Headaches and m/s are no fun.

Cinci: Good Luck on the NT tomorrow!

Oh weezie take it easy and keep us posted.

Well I got kinda worried yesterday. I had cramps. kinda like period cramps. Real low and they were like pains that lasted a few min and stopped. It happened a few times yesterday and they were pretty distinct. mmm I go back monday for the NT test. I am young but the doc just kinda scheduled it so I guess I will go with it. Its at least a good excuse for a much needed US and peace of mind.

I hope everyone has a healthy week and can relax as much as possible. I like Cornys approach on the situation very positive and upbeat I think that will help the beans.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY RIO-- Have a great day and treat yourself!!!!!!!

Rio- HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!! I hope you are out celebrating in style!

weezie - Oh, I am so sorry about your baby. I hope your body just adjusts and that you have no further complications. We are always here for you.

Katie - I still get cramps too. Yours sound like you were experiencing something new though. I have has them all along and was told not to worry because as things swell tissue and muscle needs to stretch and organs need to move. Do you get stretchy pulling along with them? I am sure your doctor will be able to reassure you.

Tammy - I hope you start sleeping soon. It is really hard sometimes. Great pic!

jomae - I have had the headaches too and read that a lot of time we get sinus headaches because our nasal membranes are swollen due to the hormones. Drinking lots of fluids is supposed to help. I haven't had one in two days and am hoping that they are gone. They can be really crippling. I just can't get off the couch when I have one.

Corny- I will pray that your twins have their own accommodations so to speak and that you won't have any complications. I am sure even if they are sharing a sac that you will get great care. The idea of bed rest sucks but if it helps, it is a good thing. Glad you are keeping a PMA!!!

Hoekey - You are so sweet to still watch over us. I wish you all the best with your upcoming cycle. I just know you are being watched over......

I have been blessed with a m/s free day! I hope it is a sign of things to come. Although, I have been on the bread and cheese diet for several days and that seems to help. I even lost two pounds! Unfortunately, my clothes are getting more snug by the day. I think I will have to succumb to maternity clothes in the next few weeks. Anyone else in maternity gear yet?

I tried to upload my u/s to photobucket and couldn't. My friend had to scan it for me to get it on email and she used adobe which won't upload. I guess I will have to wait until May when I get a detailed u/s and my doctor puts it on a CD for me. I have enjoyed looking at all the pics though! How amazing! Just counting all the little people we are bringing into the world is amazing. Makes me a bit weepy considering the odds we have overcome........

Have a wonderful pregger day!

OMG RIO!!! I just saw your pic and holy cow! It looks like a real baby! It amazes me that as early as 11 weeks their little bodies can be so developed and detectable on the u/s. That is truly amazing. Oh - and Happy Brithday!

Thanks for everyone's well wishes...we are really trying not to even think about any complications. I also read today that when there are 2 yolk sacs, it is very unlikely that there aren't 2 amniotic sacs...so I really think it was just too early to detect. There are definitely 2 very distinct yolk sacs in my photo, so...

I get to see my babies again in less that 48 hours and I can't wait! Still not feeling bad, but I find myself not getting hungry at all. I know it's not good to not eat, but I just don't want anything. Here it is 3pm and I finally forced myself to eat an apple. I seem to be eating a good dinner, but during the day I just don't feel hungry. This is new for me too, because I am usually a 3 meals-a-day kinda girl.

Anyway, I hope everyone is having a fabulous Wednesday. Yay! It's almost Friday!!!

Happy Birthday Rio!!!!!

Just needed to log and wish you a good one!!

Major headache all day :( so I need to sleep.

Someone mentioned cramps - I have had random twinges - but the last two nights i have had very different cramps very low. i am not worried since there is no blood. I am sure it is just uterus stretching.

Ok must sleep. Tomorrow is a busy day for me so not sure when I will be on next.

Image Girls for all the Happy Birthday wishes! You girls are the best! I had such a fabulous day with DH, he is just the best! He got me some super cute maternity clothes from a store I didn't even know existed here! One shirt said "pregnant is the new sexy"! He gave me a ton of awesome cards during the day hidden in places. Then he told me we were going to dinner at this one place, detoured last minute to another restaurant where all of our friends were there waiting! I had no idea! :D So it was really fun! One couple has a cute girl who is 1yo and another had a 5 mo old there so it was a fun preview 8) ! They all know about us and it was really cool! I love my DH so much :) :D :D

Katie - we get a Nuchal on the same day! Are you nervous? I am a little... Birthday coming up! How cool! 1st b-day as a mommy!!! I have some weird cramps here and there, pulling and pressure.
Gecko- if you PM me the adobe file I can try and post it for you on photobucket. How is the m/s and headaches, still bad? You are past the 12 week mark - wooo-hooo!!!! You lost 2lbs, I think I found them!
Weezie- how are you feeling? When do you see the RE again? I am here praying that it all goes well for your baby. Is DH being supportive? Don't for one second think that you did anything to cause this, these things happen but not because of anything you might have done, I know you were stressed but stress has nothing to do with it. I just want to make sure you take this as a really sad nature's wish. Please let us know how you are doing.
Jomae- your holiday sounded like a lot of fun! Yep, I think it is a boy also! :D I can't believe your doctor does not give you a picture of your ultrasound! Is the appt on the 14th the Nuchal test?
Tammy - sorry you have to deal with insomnia  I saw the picture of your little bean, I guess my imagination wasn't that great cause all I saw a little bean... :?:
Cinci good luck today - please post to let us know how it went, you are the first one of us to go! I am praying for very low odds!
Corny I agree that it might have been two early to detect the 2 sacs! Let us know how your next u/s goes, is it tomorrow? It is amazing how they can already look like little humans at 11 wks, I never knew this! Great job on the PMA! :D
Mia Sorry about your headache, I hope you feel better.

To girls with sinus issues - have you tried the Neti pot? I know it sounds gross but I bought one and tried it last night and it was the first night that I could breathe all night with a clear nose! I was amazed. It really cleared things up for me. Might be worth a shot for us pregnant ladies that can't count much on allergy medication...

Happy Birthday RIO-

I just got back from my nuchal testing. The doc said that the baby was one day short of being big enough for him to do the test. He said that he didn't want to do the test and it be wrong because it was a day too early. You have to measure. 4.4 and i measured 4.38 for the test to be conclusive. I have another appt on 4/10. How silly of my other office to schedule the test too early. Oh well, I got to see the baby for a minute while they were measuring him/her. It measured exactly for it's due date and the h/b was strong.

Now for the not so good news.....this high risk doc freaked me out on the preeclampsia. He said I had ALL of the risk factors. I had it with my first dd and he says I will most certainly have it again. I had none of the risk factors with my dd. Great! He is making me do a 24 hr urine collection so they have a baseline for my kidney function when the preeclampsia sets in. One of the risk factors is the pre-existing hypertension. My b/p was 141/91 on the first try and 150/85 on the second try. I don't have a lot of room for error or for it to go up. I am supposed to call the doc if it gets over 160 or 100. I don't know about you guys...but I see bedrest in my future. I just want to carry my baby to term and have a healthy child.

I carried my dd to term but was on 5 bp pills a day and bedrest by delivery. This doc said he wouldn't prescribe over 3 after 34 weeks that he would do a c-section instead.

Sorry guys I am at work and I will do personals later. I just wanted to give you guys an update.

Rio---Your DH sounds fabulous!! What a great suprise. I am ready for the test monday so I can see my bean but im a bit nervous. I just pray everything will go smooth for all of us. I hope our beans measure big enough I can only imagine the suspense cinci is going through. I am going to be 12 weeks 1 day on monday---what about you? I am really needing a US for peace of mind its been 2 weeks and the crampy things are kinda freakin me out. I know that its sopposed to be like tugging but I really cant distinguish if its cramps or tugs so I just say cramps. I know that its prob just my uterous stretching but I want to see bean. Anyway enough ranting for now. I hope all of you are doing well and Cinci sorry about your test being delayed that sucks.

Its almost friday!!!!!!

Okay, sorry ladies I fell off the earth for a bit. I just have a lot of homework and exams coming up. I got off work early today because my us is at 2:30! I will scan the pics and post them up.

Rio:Happy Birthday! (belated anyways!)

Katie: good luck on your test!

Corny: Keep us updated!!!

Mia: Welcome to the headache world! I am asking my doctor about them tomorrow.

Cinci: I too think I may be at risk for preeclampsia because I take my blood pressure and it is high for me. Also, I am a little overweight. My mom had it as well and they say it can run in the families? So the doctor will let me know for sure tomorrow. Pray we dont get it!!

Weezie: Sorry about the twin. I read that and just started to cry. Then it got me thinking bad thought about mine. But you are going to get one beautiful baby!

Okay, is it normal to think something has happened to the baby(ies). I just think something bad has gone wrong. I mean at least I have the u/s today so it will put whatever at ease but GOSH! So annoying.

sugabeanzs - Good luck on you u/s today! I know it is going to be just fine. But I feel like you do sometimes - like something has gone wrong - and I know I am being too nervous. I just had an u/s last Thursday and have to wait until April 28th for the next doc appt.! I guess we will all get used to it. Are you going to rent a home doppler so that you can listen to the heartbeat whenever you want? I am thinking about it.

Katie - Hang in there. I am sure all is well. I am really happy that you have another u/s coming up, though, because that will ease your mind. I think once we get this far, we are out of the woods.

cinci- What a shame about your nuchal test! So now you have to wait until the 10th. Aarrg! But at least you got to see him/her. I am in the same boat as you with the hypertension and preeclampsia risk. I am 20 lbs overweight and have high blood pressure which I control with medication. My RE didn't want to do IVF at all until it was controlled with meds. Anyway, my doctor already had me do the 24 hour unine test as a baseline last week. I also have a standing phone appointment with the high risk nurses who call every Thursday evening and I have to give them my blood pressure readings for the whole week. They set me up with a machine and I have to monitor it twice daily. If I fall out of range I guess they will tell me what I have to do. Right now my readings are too low so I am hoping that they will reduce my meds, but we'll see. I also have to start monitoring the baby's kicks starting week 26, and do home urine tests starting at week 34. Whew!!! I guess I should be happy that they are really watching me! Since I am also DES exposed, I have a higher than normal risk of incompetent cervix too, which will have to be monitored. I am just trying to keep a PMA and go with the notion that so far I am normal and I intend to stay that way. At least for all these possible complications, there is a solution and we WILL have healthy babies!

rio- Your husband sounds like a wonderful man! What a fun birthday! I PMed you my u/s pic. I hope you can post it. I just couldn't get it converted to something that photobucket would take. Thanks for helping!

Talk to you all soon!

Gecko- your u/s pic is on photobucket and I emailed you a copy! Cute baby! I heard the home doppler can be hard to use and most times you don't find the baby. Also there is some weird thing I read somewhere about doppler and risk of autism, no idea if it has any merit. What is DES exposed? I am sorry you have to deal with the bp thing :( and yes - Healthy babies for all of us!
Suga - let us know how your u/s goes, I am sure everything is fine, it is weird how we all feel the need for constant reassurance - maybe we should get our money together and buy our own u/s machine to do it everyday!!! Good luck and post pics of your beans!
Kate - I am sure our beans will be big enough since we will be past 12 weeks, mine measured 12w1d on Tue when it was 11w2d. I am sure everything will be fine, I am praying that we both get odds of 1 in 100,000,000,000 :D :D :D you have the age advantage too! You and I will be the first ones! What time are you doing yours? I get mine at 11 am PST.
Cinci I can't believe they scheduled your nucahl on your 11w1d! it is supposed to be between 11w and 14 but they probably should have waited till week 12! But you got to see your bean!!! Sorry about the preeclampsia risk  but praying that you won't have any issues with it!!! Did you have to drink your 4 glasses of water for the Nuchal?
