wantamiraclebaby, when I had my daughter it was a 3dt. We transfered 2 embryos. If I remember right, an 8 cell and a 6 cell. It was an exciting pregnancy. I nearly had twins. I posted the story in the introductions forum if you're interested.

I feel so blessed to have her. I know I've been lucky, and there are many women who've been through much more than I have. I know it was hard for me to be around or hear about babies when we were trying for #1. I managed to convince myself that pregnant women and babies were good luck during IVF #1. It helped me stay positive. I know it's possible that some may think I'm less deserving because I already have a child. All I can say is that I truly hope you all have as many children as you have room to love. I truly wish you all the best. Hopefully, my little cutie will bring us all luck!

Dr Jen, JesJes, I need to buy myself some more tea! That probably would make it easier.

I am getting excited about the move. Too bad 4 hours is far to drive for a dentist. I'll need to find a new one. :)

Hi Everyone. I am so glad to see this thread started. I am going to be starting my lupron late April and then stimming early May.

This is my 2nd IVF. frist was in Feb with a BFN. It's been hard to get back on track- I almost didnt want to join this group because I hated reading all the BFP in my last group, but I realized that was all part of the grieving process. I am now excited to start again.

Baby dust to all!!!

Yellow-Too bad 4 hrs is too far to drive for a dentist! I actually work about 30min from my house in an even more rural community! I'm sure you'll find a great dentist in Champaign.

LoveBug-I understand your feelings. Yellow has a great point to look at the other women as good luck. This is my 2nd IVF as well--it's our turn for BFPs :)

Morning girls!

I am getting ready to go get some shopping done, hubby can't get me out the door soon enough! The Lupron makes my Ovaries ache which make me just so pleasant to be around. Since this is our third attempt, he knows the drill and that I get almost nestting like before the proceude and feel the need that everything around here has to be in order before! Our problem is that I am pretty much on bedrest when preggo so if I don't get it done before, its only going to get worse afterwards. Hubby is not the best at house cleaning, the poor guy works 10-14 hours a day.

Welcome Lovebug! Let me know your schedule dates and I'll add you to our list!

Have a great Sunday all!
Jessica

Hi wantamiracle-

I just wanted to say that I'm really glad you joined the group. I am hoping and praying for you to get your BFP this cycle. I really don't know how I will deal with a BFN myself this cycle (my 1st IVF). Ya know, so many people believe in PMA and I'm just not a believer in that stuff. I believe that most of the world is out of our hands and beyond our control. If we had control, we'd all have babies by now.

I know that no one like to talk about the negative stuff hear for fear of the negative energy, but the reality is that some of us won't get our BFP's this month. Although it's naturally uncomfortable, its good for us to bring up and talk about these things. It will be hard for the group to deal with the sad results, but I hope we can turn any of the sad results into an opportunity to help others going through the same thing.

If I don't get the result I want this month, I'm really glad that there are women like you who will encourage me to pick my head up and try again! You and others who've been trying repeatedly are inspirational- thank you.

Good morning ladies. Sorry I was away a couple days. It was a busy weekend! Thank you so much to all of you for the congrats. This is such an amazing and exciting time in my life! And thanks for all the well wishes for my trip. I believe we are taking a laptop with us, and the resort has WIFI, so I should be able to keep up with you all while I'm gone!

SD: I had my CD3s last month so that I wouldn't have to do it this month! I also figured this may be my last chance for a real vacation for a while, so we decided to go thru w/ it. Fertile turtles, I don't know why, but that makes me laugh! And I'm like you, I have no idea how I will deal w/a BFN since this is my 1st IVF cycle, too. It's helpful to know there are amazing women here for support!

Sameera: Glad to hear that first shot wasn't too bad! Encouraging news for those of us that haven't gotten to that yet

Wantamiracle: Welcome to the group! We are all here for you, and we are glad you are trying again.

Yellow: I hadn't even thought about cutting out the caffeine! Aaaghh! Maybe I should be thinking about decaf! I love my morning coffee on my ride in to work, and my Diet Dr Peppers are NOT caffeine free! Let me know how you are doing with cutting that out.

JesJes: Snow?? :o I am so jealous. We didn't see any snow around here all winter. Maybe a couple flurries here and there, but not enough to make a difference. We are in the middle of a drought, we can use any kind of precip around here!

Amber: How are the Lupron shots going for you?

DrJen: Thanks, I will do my best to relax while I'm there. But I will be starting my BCPs while I'm there, and I'm sure I will just get that much more excited that we are one step closer, and less likely to remain relaxed. But in a good way! 8)

LoveBug: Welcome aboard, and best wishes. This is an amazing group of women!

OK, I think I'm caught back up with you all!! Hope you are all in good spirits and doing well this wonderful Monday morning! Now it's time to get to work. :?

HI ladies, sorry I have been MIA this weekend...DH and I went to visit my parents in FL this weekend. It is nice to have a little tan!!!

Sameera, JesJes, DrJen...hope stimming is going well. I cant wait to get started, each day is one day closer to a BFP!!!!

I am assuming the rest of us are on BCP at this point. Very odd to be on BCP when you desperately want to have a child!!!!!!

I have a question for you gals...does anyone have diminished ovarian reserve or high FSH. I am 28 and have a 12.5 FSH...would love to hear similar stores...

Take care and enjoy your Monday! :D

Hello ladies!

I must say that cutting back on caffeine is not going very well. I'm going to have to talk to DH about it because if he keeps making coffee, I keep drinking it. :? The past 2 cycles, he just bought it at work so I wouldn't have to smell it. I'll promise it here so I'll have some accountability. I'M SWITCHING TO TEA TOMORROW! The medications will be delivered tomorrow. I'm finally feeling excited about this cycle!

Jes, did you buy anything fun?

SD, you're right it's true, that we probably won't all get our BFP's this cycle. Of course, we'll be here to offer encouragement to each other no matter what the results.

I hope everyone is well -- not feeling too stressed. I love hearing the updates!

1st BETA: 306.

I called my nurse this morning to tell her about my postive POAS, and she said go up and get your bloodwork right now.

I did, and yay, it has been confirmed. I am officially pregnant. I have to proceed with cautious optimism, due to my age and how early it is, but I have a great feeling.

They wanted a level of 100 or more, so I think it is pretty strong. I have more bloodwork Wed and Fri and ultrasound next week. Plus, I probably will be traveling within the next couple of weeks, but RN says that is fine.

Thanks to all for your support, you are the best! I just love this forum!!

Yellow~ I know the coffee thing is hard, I cheated and got a starbucks this weekend. The decaf tea has been ahlping but there is nothing like a Rasberry Mocha to get me going, after all I live in the Starbucks capital of the world! Good Luck!

JesJes, I love Seattle. It's such a pretty city. If I remember right, the whole town seemed to smell like coffee. That would make it even harder. :)

Do any of you ladies get all the drugs delivered at the beginning? I wish I didn't have to store them in my fridge.

Yellow~ Yay!! you are getting your medications - well I have to tell you when I first opened the box I was overwhelmed with all those meds but it's getting closer and closer - so excited for you!!

Courtney~Stimming is going well - I feel bloated and my ovaries hurt and my lower back is killing me just cramping all around.

JHarris - Yeah, shots aren't bad and I'm ready for this procedure to get started LOL so impatient I know. Can't help it!!!

Donna~ I hope all goes well for you and good luck with your cycle. Looking forward to share IVF progress.
