You girls are funny. Buying them online does sound like a good idea, but it's usually too late. I didn't even know that my new RE would want me to use them cause we are on a "rest" cycle, but he needs to know when I ovulate so that he can time the biopsy. Ohhhh, biopsy sounds scary, but it's not. New RE plans to grow my embies in a culture made from my own endometrium lining. Fancy, huh? Something new that Cornell does. Actually, my RE "Discoverd" or came up with this new procedure. Cool huh? Very cutting edge. Supposed to help with embryo quality for us mature women.

And ICSI my grammie-thingy is wednesday. Not scared at all. So glad that you and I decided to go to new RE's, aren't you???

Girls, I changed my profile signature. Did ya notice??? No need for me to droan on about my BFN's cause the BFP is on it's way.

How are you feeling HOPE???? Good I bet!!!!!

Steph, enjoy the sugar drink. What flavor????

ICSI...CASH UPFRONT!!! YIKES!!!!

Keep bugging them for your money!!! Just more hassles!!!

You know, you may get pregnant on your own while you're waiting it out. It's been known to happen. Especially with improved swimmers.

I go to my old RE next week for follow up on last cycle. He does not know that we are moving on. But I feel like I want to tell him, thank him for all he did and see what he says about new plan. I really like my old RE. Will even miss him. All those consult appointments and blood & sono appointments. Feels like we know each other. So, kinda hard to leave. And he did get me pregnant once... IUI. So I want to be upfront with him.

Anyway, off to therapist. (Week number 2 with her) Good to have someone to talk to. She's been through IVF, so that helps. Ok, enough for now. Keep the faith.

Stephjim -

You can wait for the bloods to celebrate if you want to, but Image
And I'm gonna PARTY for you NOW!!!! WOOOO HOOOOO!!!!!
Image Congratulations CYCLE BUDDY!!!!

I haven't caught up from the weekend and today yet, but I wanted to let you know that I had a little good news today too! ;)

Nurse called with the first beta .... it's
Image

Even her whiny butt was excited. She actually opened the phone call with "Hot dog!!" - whatever that means!?!? But she seemed genuinely happy for me... and not being a weird whiny woman.

I'm very pleased... my last bfp - I tested 18dpo and had 521, today is just 19 days and it's over triple that!

I go back Wed morning to hopefully see doubles - or close to it. I'm very optimistically hopeful! Stephjim - I can't wait to see your big ol' giant numbers too!!!

WOO HOO!!

hey Steph -

Nope, you're right, no tell-tale signs on the betas. :( I WISH!

I'm keeping my PMA (you can see in my ticker) that there are two there! Not giving up hope on my little ones! - To answer your other ? - 2 Grade 1, 8 celled embies on Day 3.

Thanks for the congrats - yours are gonna be just as good - if not better with your TRIPS!!!!

WOOHOOOO!!!
Steph
STEPH - you have NO idea how much I wanted to slug her this morning while I was there!!! I can't believe I forgot to post this earlier!!!

I had to ask her a ? about PIO (WHICH - BTW, I am DONE with PIO!!! WOOO HOOO!!! - I start endometrin suppositories tonight!!!) So- as I was asking her I said, "so when you call me today with the positive..." she looked at me and said, "did you cheat?!" - I was like, UH YEAH, lady!!!! Did you think I was gonna wait 19 days?!!?!!! She didn't "tisk-tisk" me, exactly, but I could tell she wasn't too thrilled - LIKE I CARE?! This is not her body nor her life - easy for you to wait, stupid nurse woman! (You like my rough language when I get mad, don't ya?! ;) )

Anyway - I was all the more thrilled with my big ol' beta this afternoon when she called, after that little episode! READ THAT whiny nurse lady!
