Hi my fertile friends...........

I've added names to the list, those of you who want added let me know, and also let me know ER dates so I can add them!

Donna- Great responce today, cannot wait for an update tomorrow! Seems like you cycle so much faster than me.

Welcome to the new ones! These gals here are great!

Not much new here..on CD 3 so ER is still on track for next wednesday the 16th. Here I go again! I saw my pernitologist yesterday to touch base since he is the one who will put me on the Lovenox right away if this works. I cannot have another nightmare pregnancy. Third time is a charm so hopefully this one will work out.

Talk more alter, gotta plant my flowers and keep plugging away around here, have alot to do before ER!
Jessica

Well hello everyone!!!

SD~ I doubt you taking one BCP early is gonna effect anything. I wouldn't worry too much about it!. How was your trip??

Dana~ How are you doing? anytime you are waiting impatiently to have AF it doesn't come when you want it to. Ugh, it shows up when you don't want it at all. I was a week late but I wasn't on Lupron. Maybe you are stressed??

Amber~ I really do hope you start your AF soon so you can get this cycle started. Soon you will be a mommy and hopefully this would be your last AF for a long long time...

Chelly~ are you still waiting on AF? Try not to stress!! it can make it come late.

Yellow~ aww, your hubby sounds like he is really trying hard. Guys don't know much that goes on with the cycle. Hope your in laws visit went well?

Courtney~ I hope your baseline appt goes well. Hope you have tons of follies growing!!

Doddo~ Please keep us updated with your fert report!

Anyways, heres my update ladies:

I went for my ultrasound and now I have 20 follies and all between 19mm-20mm. I get to trigger tomorrow night at 10:30pm. Thursday is my ER at 9:15am - wohoo! ET - will be on Sunday April 13th..Finally here!!! :D

My RE said that there is 70% chance of doing 3 day transfer and 30% for 5 day transfer. But will prolly depend on how my eggs fertilize and what not.

I'm getting so excited and nervous!!!

jesjes ~ hope you don't mind updating the ER/ET dates again - sorry!

Have a happy monday!

Hello all!

amber- have you gotten AF yet? I haven't yet either but I haven't really thought about it. I guess Wed we'll know more about our stimming protocol! This is your 2nd cycle? This is our 1st, of course we are praying it works the 1st time...and if not we hope to have some frosties to use for fet.

sameera- That is so exciting you will trigger tomorrow! Glad you got some good follie numbers

jesjes- what is lovenox for? good job with keeping the thread organized!

donna- congrats on the sucessful er! Keep us up to date on the fert report. we hope lots fertilize!

courtney- I think we are on the same schedule, I have baseline on wed. why did they cancel your last IVF? did you have cysts?

yellow- Your story about DH was too cute! My DH has been very supportive, although I have to remind him practically every minute when we have an appt. He likes to go to the appts but I told him not to worry about going for the us/bw, since he would have to miss work. I'd rather he be there for ER/ET - especially since he has to make his 'contribution' haha

hopeful- I started lupron on 4/1 and stopped bcp on 4/5, I havent started either. This is my 1st cycle to so we can go through it together!

SD-
I don't think 1 pill will throw anything off. My office had me take 3 extra pills from a whole new pack just to put me on the right days for their schedule.

God Bless you all!

-Michele

chelly180...To make a long story short:-)...My clinic likes to see at least 4 follies that are at least 2mm on the baseline. I only had three follies and only 2 that met the size requirement. THe month before I had 9 (during my diagnosis phase), so they wanted to wait and start with more...hopefully. THe number we naturally produce changes every month. A lot of clinics dont have this requirement, and dont even tell you how many you are starting with. But because I have high FSH, it is more important. I have got a lot of PMA going into Thursday, so hope all goes well. :D

Lovenox is a blood thinning shot I will have to get every day while pregnant. When I lost the twins I found out that I have a blood clotting disorder. I take a baby asprin daily to help prevent clotsbut when pregnant I will need a stronger thinner to keep the clots out of my uterus. The clots broke my water at 22 weeks and it was too late to do anything...so Lovenox will keep those crappy clots away!

Hello Everyone,
The Lab called and said that 10 out of 11 eggs fertilized. They said they will call me tomorrow and let me know how they are doing. Depending on the results, they will decide tomorrow if we are doing a 3 day or a 5 day transfer. I am so nervous. I hope our babies grow, grow, grow!!

How are you all doing?

Hi... First time posting

Post by Rose29 »

Hello Everyone!

First time on this forum.

Just had my first IVf in March (embryo transfer on 3/29) I was on bed rest for 3 days... test came back negative yesterday :( ... I cried a lot, but I am slowly getting over it.

Now I have to wait for my period to start so I can go in and see the doctor.... I was on a lot of hormones and I am pretty sure I developed lots of cysts. I do not know if they are preventing me from having my period....

We transferred two perfectly healthy embryos and it did not work :( The good news is we got to freeze 12 other healthy ones. I will start frozen embryo transfer this month.

Any idea on how long does it take for the period to start after an IVF? Is it like a normal cycle?

Welcome Rose -

Sorry about your test coming back negative - But I'm glad to hear you are going to be doing FET soon. Just hang in there it will happen, sometimes it just takes time.

Are you on any Progesterone meds? maybe that's delaying your AF.

Hows everyone else is doing?

I get to do my trigger shot tonight at 10:30 wohoo finally I am done with my shots. Can you tell I am so excited - no more sticking needles to my belly!!

Greetings my women with welcoming wombs, my fertile turtles, my sticky sisters, and my babes of bountiful follicles! How is everyone?

This party is really getting started, I'm so excited. JessJess I have my schedule official 'tentative' schedule now (oxymoron, i realize):

May 7th- ER
May 10-12th- Possible Transfer dates
Beta- 5/23

Okay, so I'm gonna try to get caught up with everyone

doddo- congrats on your ER, can't wait to here more news soon!

Sameera- thanks so much for your encouragement, my RE today said that 1 pill wouldn't matter, so I'm feeling much better now. Congrats, you graduated from shots!!!! Yeah, big days up ahead, keep us posted on all the details.

JesJes- you continue to rock, keeping us all straight. I'm so sorry you had to deal with so much tragedy, but I'm so happy that they were able to provide a treatment. I'm in the medical field (although not in reproductive healthcare) and have treated many patients with lovenox. It is an excellent drug, that you should have lots of confidence in.

Courtney- I'll give you lots of PMA all thursday! lots of good size follies!

Chelly180- Thanks to you also for the encouragement, I really appreciate it. Anything new with you?

DrJen- my computer wouldn't like me scroll through to your last post to see what's up with you without losing my post, so I hope all is well with you. I thought of you when I visited my dentist last week :)

Amber28- I'll be thinking of you tomorrow, good luck with you BW and Ultrasound! Hoping AF shows up soon!

Yellow- very cute story!

Jharris12- hey dear, i could scroll back far enough to see your last post either. after i'm done with this one, i'll go back and try to find out what's up with you. i see from jes's list that your ER/ET is around 5/15. I can't believe how quickly this is happening, come you. I'm sure once we hit the 2ww we won't be saying that :)

Hopeful- I'm glad we have so many wonderful ladies around to support us 1st timers, isn't it great!

LB, love bug, stephaniej, wantamiraclebaby- I'm thinkin' of you too!! baby dust to all!
Me-34- 1 tube shy of a pair
DH 33- 6% morphology
TTC- since 1/07
IVF 5/2008-- BFP! (joy to the world)
DS born 1/25/09
planned FET mid-November 2010
still tryin' in the meantime!

Hi people. We're Adriana and Jim and this is our first post (Jim). What's the % of men that post here?

Dri just started her meds Monday night and I'm giving her the needles. Not as bad as I though or as painful as she thought. That big one looks scary though! (next week hopefully).

Anyway, glad to be here and I hope this works!

Oh, I'm 44 and she's 31. We live in Connecticut and this is our first attempt.
