hi ladies

nimble - yes, 18 days to go!! dont worry about the text thing....lol...what were you doing up at the unearthly hour?? not sure if she's ready....braxton hicks are quite normal and dont necessarily indicate that labour is imminent (unfortunately!!!) but dont think she'll be too much longer. (or is that just wishful thinking??  )....so glad you bought some baby stuff....dont leave it too long, your little one might decide to make an early appearance (say 6 weeks early), then you only have about 12 weeks left!! thats 3 pay days!!

chriss - best of luck for tomorrow. let us know how it goes as soon as you can!!

beachbaby - glad to hear you're doing well. wow, when you say it like that (that you only have a max of 13 weeks left), thats crazy!! time has flown for you!! (well i think so anyway, i'm sure you dont...lol)...like i said to nimms, you need to get your finger out too!! lol....let us know how you get on with the shopping. as for me, yes, everything is ready now and hospital bag is packed. just a waiting game now!!

steph - i take it you hate your job?? lol....its awful when you hate your job. not long now...only another 6 months roughly?? then you'll have other and definitely more joyful things to focus on!! ;-)

MP - 12 weeks tomorrow?? oooohhhh, how exciting!!! have you had your 12 week scna yet?? dont worry about not eating much and losing weight. i was worried about that and the hospital told me that the babies are like parasites when they are that small and just feed of you. (nice, eh?)....hope the interviews went well today. but yes, what are you going to do if you get the one starting in aug?? you crazy girl....lol

rachel - good to hear from you. thanks for popping in just to say you're ok. not long now hun. definitely update us after the hospital tomorrow. xx

icsi - hello (*waves manically*)...yes, i'm ok thanks. how you doing??

stephjim - i so understand your feelings about the ultrasound being so far away. i dont know which 2ww is worst. the one after the ET or the one after the BFP. everyone feels the same and feels very anxious. how cool would it be if you could buy HCG tests?? lol...

hi to everyone else!!!!

i'm good...getting lots of braxton hicks (practice contractions) which are VERY gradually getting stronger every day but nothing to get excited about. not long now hopefully but time is definitely dragging!! lol

lots of sticky baby dust to everyone!!

xxx

Sorry for the barge in

Post by Ange »

I'm sorry for the barge in, but I had to congratulate some of my old cycle buddies. Shantala, Beachbaby and Lara......CONGRATULATIONS! I'm so happy for you! It is so wonderful to read about so many BFP's after all this time. My twins are keeping me super busy, but wanted to drop in and just say a big Congrats! To those of you waiting for treatment, hang in there, it might take time, but it happens, it really does.

hugs to all,

Hi my lovies! I hate my job...but today I will keep it at that..at least craziness today much better, still not being able to EAT and PEE not any better!

Mia- who are you??? Are you that potato loving chick? It has been so long I just don't recall :D What kind of job is it you are interviewing for? Will they care you will be out like 2 months later with baby?

Rachel- Ruby here yet? How dare the hospital have no internet access!

Mir- don't let Mia off so easy like that! She's been gone so long she may need to be reinitiated! How am I doing? Did I mention I hate my job? Hoping the stress isn't hurting the baby! If I had it my way I'd have another peek and see how SHE is growing...I'm so nervous

Angie- yeh I was supposed to be a cycle days 5-9, one month I did it 2 days early the other 2 I did 1 day eary...I think I can't remember. You will typically ovulate 5-9 days after the last dose...you CAN get a false positive on the opk apparently as I think that is what happened on cycle #3 and that was why I had so many problems that cycle. For those who have problems producing eggs you usually start earlier, for those who have problems maturing eggs you usually take it later. The early you start, studies have shown you have a higher chance of producing more eggies cuz you have more immature follies to work with than if you wait til day 5 to start cuz by then you usually have 1 dominant follie by that point. I'd say like clockwork (cycles #2 and 3) I O'd a week after...oh crap or was it I surged a week after (7 days)...damn now I don't remember. This last cycle was totally different cuz of the trigger shot. Does that help??? And who you callin impatient lady...yellin at Steph WHAT day did the doc do the US for your follies you left that out!!! dang girl can't you see she wanted to dangle the piece of meat in front of you?? Impatient, pppssshhhhh!

Steph- about 9 1/2 days to go!!! AARRGHHH tooooo maaannnnyyy!!!! Meanwhile I am so ready for bed already! I don't see you here so my guess is you are sleepin too!

Shantala- me, hate my job? what gave you that idea??? 6 months?? OH HEEELLLLL no! I have 2 months 1 week and 3 days left in hell!!! Oh wait you talkin bout my due date? Yeh call me dense at this point! I'm a little more than 1/4 the way thru!!!! And my luck my kid is coming out LATE and is gonna wind up with an ugly November birthstone haha! If your contractions are more regular doesn't that mean REAL contractions???? Wouldn't that be cool if you an Rach have the same date!!!

Chriss- your apt is tomorrow? what is it for again?? Call me dense!

Hi everyone else! Yeh I'm taking the easy way out this time...last time I got my arse reamed! I need a nap

Steph

Dear Dense, I mean Steph. What's the matter with your brain? Is the baby making you dumb? Not used to you being so tired all the time. You surely are preggers. So sorry that hell sucks. You are almost outta there, right????

Tomorrow I go to old RE to say BYE-BYE and Thanks... and to the new RE for follow up on hysteroscopy and a sounding (mock transfer). I am a little nervous about the mock transfer cause I've always been on drugs (anesthesea) for transfers cause of my tricky, curvy cervix/uterus opening thingy. But new RE wants to check it out while I am awake. If it's anything like the IUI's I went through... alls I can say is ouch!!! They have a hard time getting in there. Once they are in, the uterus is fine. It's just the curve to get in. Special, huh?

Anyway, hope you are feeling good. Have a good evening. What's for dinner? -chriss

Hi Ladies -

Hope everyone is having a great Tuesday.

Nims - Good to hear from you! We've missed you!! So glad you hear you've been doing some shopping! I have a feeling now that you've started, you may find you can't stop! (i know i'd be that way!!) So happy for you! Won't be long til you're in Rachel & Shantala's position, about ready to pop!! :)

Shantala - Braxton Hicks! Wow, I can't even get that far in my head yet! I'm still trying to get over the all-day M/S!! :) I know you're so excited and ready for your little girl to get here! YAY!!

Rachel - Going to the hospital tomorrow!?! YAY! She's almost here!!! We can't wait to hear how everything goes and see lots of piccies of your beautiful little angel!!!! Good luck, hon!!!

Jayne - Sounds like you're getting all the accessories under control! How's the nursery? Have you told us about the decor?? Wondering with two of everything and that you don't know what they'll be (though, I firmly agree with your midwife - b/g! - (like I know anything!)) You take care!! Thinking of you!

Chriss - Your "mock" or whatever they call it there is tomorrow, right?! Good luck with that. I'm curious what your new RE is going to do differently or say about your "curve" - let us know how it goes!!! Thinking of you!!

Where's my Angel?? You back to crazy cleaning and cooking or did you up and fly over to Steph's and you're hiding out so we won't know you're there??!!!! ;) I know it's only been a couple of days, but... miss you!

Steph - please don't go to work and hurt anyone. Image we don't want you to have your baby behind bars. Image Did you get your palp results back??

Mia - Sorry works is so nuts!! I can't believe it's been so long since you've had a nap!!! So I'm guessing you're not wearing dresses to work, since you're showing in them, but not in jeans??? I normally wear jeans to work, but I haven't been able to button my stupid jeans in weeks. ugh. Won't be long tho, sister and you'll be shopping and pg girl store!! And yeah, I guess we still love you... ;)

Angie - Sorry, hon, wish I could help you out on the cycle day stuff... not my dept. Wishing you the best, tho - with DH's new, improved super-swimmers!!! Image

Mir - How u hanging girl??? Any news on the IVF front?? How about the new job for DH front??!! Praying for great paying job and cycle soon to come!!!

Stephjim - How you feeling? Any pg symptoms yet?? My M/S started yesterday. BLAAH. I'm not complaining!!! But, blaahh. :)

Hi to everyone else!!! That's as far as my review goes back. Hope everyone is doing well!!!

Tomorrow is my next BIG day. U/S at 9:45 (EST). DH is of course going with. I am looking forward to it, but a little scared... Then I know the next 2ww will be upon me and I'll be freaking again about every little twinge I feel - which is probably gas, btw!

Aaawww.....you're so sweet Hope. I'm still around. Suffering from real bad AF this time. Making me get blackouts (with orange stars)!

Not hiding away at Steph's. Cancelled my plans cause she didn't remember to say hi to me :( .

Best of luck with your scan. Make sure you get on here and let us know how many beanies were waving at ya. And wave a big HI back at them from their cyber (bit loony) aunties :D .

Lara - I assume you are in hospital, welcoming your baby. Hope it all goes well and let us know as soo as you can!

Shantala - not long to go for you now. Is your hospital bag all packed now? And is someone going to be on call as soon as your contractions start? Are you excited?

hi all

think we have 3 big appointments today to wish good luck for:

rachel - good luck with your hospital appointment today. let us know how you get on!!

chriss - best of luck for your results today and your mock transfer. i have a slightly off centre cervix so my mock transfer hurt too. but just think its all worth it. let us know how it went.

hope - oohhhh, good luck with your US today!!!! cant wait to hear how your beanie is!! bless you about all day M/S...i know how that feels! you'll get all sorts of suggestions about how to minimise it but i found none of the tips helped. you have to try and find your way through it yourself. my advice would be, eat whatever you fancy. and if its the same crappiest food every day!

so everyone else.....

pequele - yeah i meant until just before your due date when i know you definitely would no longer be in hell....does that mean you go on maternity leave in 2 months, 1 week and 2 days or is that when your contract runs out?? yes, would be very cool if lara and i had the same date!!

stephjim - i'm counting down for you....not long now. have you got lots planned to try and keep you busy until next week?? thats what i'm trying to do at the moment.

welshbugger - thinking about you lots. massive hugs xxx

nimble - hope you're doing well and work isnt too bad for you.

jayne - hows the shopping going??

hi to everyone else (and i know ive missed loads)....loving you all lots.

sun is out here today, which is lovely!! i was given a load of girls clothing by dh's daughter (who's had two girls herself) so have been sorting those out and just trying to wash them all to put our own smell on them. the weather certainly helps as it means i can stick the clothes out in the sunshine and they dry much quicker!! :D  once thats done, i will then start washing all the new bedding and clothes i bought i think. again, just to put our smell on them!! (do you know what i mean or am i just being weird??  )

bye for now!!

xxx
