Ok- 1st off Angel, take your iron with vitamin C, helps increase absorption!!!

Then as far as the note from the doc goes, I had to get it cuz my boss in hell wouldn't let me step down as manager (despite me telling him my pregnancy is borderline high risk- LIE AND the board of pharmacy says he can't force me to be the manager!). He said plus I'd have to go to overnights which involves 7 nights on 7 nights off cuz that would be less stress...less stress my ARSE! 13 hr and 10 hr shifts plus screwing up your system with the doing over nights?? yeh I don't think so. He refused to let me step down so I told him fine I will get a note from my doc and today she wrote it that says max 4 days a week with a max of 8 hr days! She rocks...I have to stay at 30+ hrs a week to keep me full time. So I emailed him letting him know as soon as I got to hell I'd fax him the note (his office is an hour an half away). I also made sure to put in the note that since he refused to let me step down and mention my high risk pregnancy...then I made certain to CC HIS BOSS as well

Ok I'm off to hell!!! WEEEEEE

Steph

Hi guys...have I mentioned I hate hell lately :)

Got word at work today that my doctor's note was received and all is well :) Yahoo...however it won't be as sweet as when June 18th rolls around, but for now it is better than nothing! Get to go to hell all weekend too...luckily weekends are usually 10 times better than weekdays!!!!

Mir you probably aren't here still...plus I need to get to bed.

Hello everyone. I know Saturday is a slow day on here, except for me or Steph. Had some morning nausea this morning but have not upchucked yet.

Steph, question, how much does a 5 liter bag weigh?

Just got a call from the doctor's office and I've been summoned by the doctor (ok - asked to make an appointment for next week), cause my blood test results are back and not looking good :( .
Seem to be low on all vitamins, calcium. Anemia has become worse and glucose levels are slightly high.

I don't understand cause I have got a healthy lifestyle. Fresh fruit and vegetables are a main feature in my diet.[/quote]

Angel - sure it will be nothing to worry about - it sounds like you are mega run down - I prescribe a day of pampering for you - tell DH thats what our omestic godess needs to keep her sane!

When is your appointment?

Hi to everyone else - I'm sorry these are cut so short... I'm feeling like dog-poo. Nausea turned into full-blown vomiting yesterday. (I was going to put a vomiting smiley on here, but even looking at that makes me want to puke.) So, i'm taking it one minute at a time, hoping to keep things down.

I also called my nurse today... I had two very sharp pains, one last night and one this morning. I wasn't doing anything strenous... brushing my teeth and just lying in bed. She isn't too worried, as there aren't continous cramps or any spotting. She said there's nothing we can do but wait. Lovely. I know I should stay positive... and believe me, I'm trying. I'm praying constantly... but I just can't help but feel sad.

Now we're going to be leaving to head to the lake for the wkend. Middle DSS is being a nightmare and we're not even there yet. For some reason he thinks he can talk hateful and mean to his father on the phone and we'll drive him an hour to his lacrosse game anyway. Of course, when we don't - it will only get worse. Lovely. Sometimes I want to choke his mother... and him too!

Going to try to relax... hope all of you have a great weekend.

Hope - you try and chill this weekend - at least the nausea is a sign that all is well - how many days now till your next scan - bet this is worse than first 2 WW

Sending you love and sticky baby dust

Morning ladies!!!

Firstly, RACHEL – hope you, dh and ruby are fine!!!!!! I’ve been really busy with friends having been round these last couple of days but have managed to check this site and facebook at least twice a day to see if there are any news. Hope you’re enjoying lots of cuddles and being a mommy……cant wait to meet ruby and hope everything went smoothly. Lots of hugs xxxxxxxxxxxx

Su – yes, like you said, once the weather warms up a bit it will be lovely to have the odd day off. Not long now!

Wishfull – great to hear from you!!!! And way to go on the next tmt…..how exciting!! You’ll be fine with the needles….when you know you have to do them (and have no choice) you’ll just deal with it. If not, then pop down to see me and I’ll do them for you. ;-)

Chriss – wow, fantastic news!!! Your old RE sounds like such a genuine guy. He’s so sweet, offering to monitor your cycle and genuinely wanting you back if you go for DE. It must be so nice to have his support. Also, so pleased that your mock transfer went so well….and excellent news he wants to practise again! That’s what you call service!! Lol….so when you do you go back for your second mock??

Stephjim – sorry for the late reply. I think back problems are quite common in pregnancy….the pregnancy hormone relaxin (spelling??) softens all your ligaments and therefore can give you all sorts of pains. If you’re at all worried though, I would ring the midwife/doctor, just to be on the safe side. Is it any better now?? Hahaha about your dream!!!

Nimble – hope you’re having a good weekend hun!! Hows the baby?? Have you bought any more stuff yet??

Beachbaby – oohhh, how did the pram and baby shopping go?? Did you get much?? How exciting! Sorry to hear one the of the babies is sitting on your lung. Mine was squashing my gall bladder for a while which was quite painful but she’s moved down now so its eased up a lot. Not nice, is it?? Once they start moving down, you’ll be able to breathe a bit more easily.

Jenbabes – hello!!!!!! Xxx

Angel – sorry to hear you were so busy in the end…..and yes, I would blame ICSI for keeping you chatting on here. ;-) yes, we had hailstones too and lots of rain so no washing for me outside!! Lol….did manage to hang out one lot of washing yesterday and quickly managed to bring it in before the worst shower ever (and it was nearly dry and smelt looooovely!!) no, no signs yet….did wake up the other night with the worst pain imaginable, which I’m sure was a proper contraction but once it eased off that was it. Boohoo!! Lol. Ooohhh, just read about your blood test results…that’s not good. What a nightmare for you. Whens your app next week?

Pequele – excellent news on your heartbeat!!! And excellent news on your note for work. Did you fax it off?? Your boss sounds like such a w***er!!! Oh my god, cant believe he’s being such an a**e!! whats happening june 18th?? (that’s my wedding anniversary!! :-) )

Icsi – hey hun…how you doing today??

Mir – ah, how annoying when you lose a post!!!! Have done that so many times and it’s just gggggrrrr…..anyway, how you doing?? Loved your post (the one you managed to post!)…..thanks, cant wait now either and really hope its not long. I completely understand about your worries about financing ivf. We had to pay for bother of our attempts privately and ended up having to remortgage our house. Its so hard without having to worry about money!!

Hope – sorry to hear about your m/s. I had to smile to myself when you said you couldn’t even put a sick smilie on here….i so remember how I felt through my m/s and completely empathise with you!! You poor thing. Glad your m/w isn’t worried about your pains. I had lots of twinges and sharp pains and doctors always said its just everything inside moving around and stretching to make room for the baby. But if you’re ever at all worried, see them anyway. Hope you’re feeling better soon. Xx

Welshbugger – hope your d/r is doing ok. xx

As for me, I’m good thanks. Dying to find out how lara got on!!! As I said to angel, got woken up with a nasty, nasty pain the other night and didn’t know what had hit me. After a while it eased off and once it was gone it was completely gone which makes me think it was a proper contraction….but nothing came of it (obviously)…unfortunately!!! Come on, baby, all your cyber-aunties want to meet you now!!! (and your cyber-cousin ruby!! Lol)

Hi to everyone else and sorry if ive missed anyone.

xxxxx
