Carolyn- good to hear from ya! How exciting as May or June will be here soon! Heck, April is 1/3 over already!!!! I'll keep fingers crossed for May for ya ok!

I will find out (provided there is cooperation) if it is a boy or a girl, but probably not this time...too soon. I know they can "guess" but I don't want a guess and it only being something like 80% sure...I wanna be 100% haha. I guess I can't really get that though til it is out. I have my fingers crossed they have a 4D US capability! There was another person I was talking to that said where she went it was the same machine...she was having the same ol' boring 2D US and they flipped the switch and wham got the 3D/4D pic! pretty cool!

Yup if that is "my boss is a wanker" that would be CORRECT...I think he is bitter cuz HE wants to step down from his job, but since no one wants it he has to stay...well at least he feels he needs too...I however feel no such loyalty to hell and as soon as June 18th rolls around I'm OUT OF THERE. I signed a contract with a hefty sign on bonus for 3 years and that is the date I break free from the chains! If I left before that I'd owe em EVERYTHING PLUS INTEREST! No thanks...unless I win the lotto in the next few weeks! Yup I sent him an email even before I got to work to fax off the note...I made sure to CC it to HIS boss as well (and add in there that thanks to you not caring that I wanted less stress with my complicated pregnancy (which is really isn't) and you won't let me step down which is ACTUALLY ILLEGAL according to the board of pharamcy then fine...doc is limiting my hours... 2 can play at this game! Don't mess with a hormonal pregnant lady damn it!

As I said to angel, got woken up with a nasty, nasty pain the other night and didn’t know what had hit me. After a while it eased off and once it was gone it was completely gone which makes me think it was a proper contraction….but nothing came of it (obviously)…unfortunately!!!

Well, we STILL have not told anyone. Almost 13 weeks. I plan on telling one half of my family May 4 and the other May 11. Then May 23 I go to Dh's home country with him and we will tell everyone there and then when we get back I will tell everyone here! Except my job. I am working part time at a college and have appied to several colleges for a full time position that would start is August (I know I am crazy). Any way - if they know I am pg they wont offer me the job! The only reason I am considering starting a job in August is b/c dh might be losing his job in June and I need some money coming in. If he doesnt then I am not sure what I will do... I have thought about law school. ANy way. I am feeling good and all is well here in Texas.

Nah I just know sometimes they "try" to guess the sex at the 12 week scan...but certainly not reliable. Some have gotten a 4D scan which you can see parts a little more clearly, but I think at that age you can still have a girl with a "nubbin" and it confuses the tech...or is it boys don't quite have their "nubbin" yet? I dunno, all I know is it is NOT very accurate at this age so I won't believe them much even if they say what they think it is.

Yup count down from hell is speeding up especially now that I can spend less time there YAHOOOOOO. I did get this cute shirt today at work for the baby...they just got a whole lot of funny sayings on them for babies like "my mom's hotter than your mom" "does this diaper make my butt look fat?" (love that one but it is only in pink so I'm not sure yet if I could get that!). But the one I did get "I cry when ugly people hold me" hehehe

I need to go to bed now...I'm ZONKED!

pequele - yup, that was me calling your boss a wanker and from your post i can positively say i was right!!!! i cant believe how some people can be!!! got ya on the 18th june....excellent, thats not long to go now!!! as for me, really not sure what that was the other night. i've had braxton hicks for weeks now but the other night was PAIN... ...i put it down to the baby maybe engaging. yes, got the sheet on the bed... ...i am excited and ready but also scared and anxious. got one more midwife app two days before i am due so if i havent had the baby by then, i may ask the midwife to do a head sweep (particular internal exam that can bring on labour)...whether she'll do it or not is another matter though!! anyway, you at hell today??

welshbugger - great to hear from you. i miss your bubbly posts on here that make me laugh EVERY time!! but of course we understand. great that you're 3 weeks through already!! wooohoooo!!! come on, bring on that BFP!!!! xxxx

waitingformia - yes!! you got how i'm feeling spot on. VERY bittersweet. for us, the chances are that this will be my only baby so my only pregnancy, only birth, only newborn, etc. i'm really sad to be losing my bump soon and to feel the baby, etc but also very excited and cant wait for her to be born now. so cant blame you for not telling anyone at work if you need that job. its sad that you have to do that but you have to do what you have to do. i was in a similar position in that i couldnt tell my work about my 2nd ivf (they knew about my first) as i was looking to change departments and wouldnt have got the job. hey, thats life. i hope you dont struggle too much in june. we're going to be struggling this next year as my maternity leave is cut considerably in about 3 months and in about 8-9 months i wont receive a penny but i'm allowed to take 1 year off.......again difficult decision...if this is my only chance at a baby, i would like to take the full year off but if i only get paid for 9 months (well, SOME for 9 months!!) and bills need paying, then i have no choice but to go back....anyway, sorry about me ranting and raving.... hope it all works out for you. and how exciting about you telling the family in may. thats not long to go and it will be soooo special!!!

Mia, I did not not hurt my back. My lower back was hurting the first day I went back to work last week and was just asking if anyone else had that. How are you? To answer your question, my friend found out at 17 week what she is having so you should be able to find out before you go on your trip. Great to hear from you.

Steph, sorry have not been on at night. I am not sure if you are even getting on here. What is your schedule this week I will get on maybe the next three nights but I am off Thur through Sun so can talk then.

Nope they don't do em in the office since the office is in a major med center I have them done in radiology...or whereever....THOUGH what cracks me up is their dept is connected with the RE dept and THEY have 2 US....so I have no clue...I just nod and go along with it. But I have my US then run upstairs to my apt. Everything is digital and they should have my images avail to them, but for this visit anyways they probably won't talk much about it since we will be waiting for my blood work to come back to complete the nuchal test. I think by the time you leave you should be able to see the sex. I'd ask your doc now though to be sure you can get an apt before you leave!!! Would so suck to have to wait ANOTHER 3 weeks to get back here!

Yup pay is gonna be lower cutting back my hours (max 4 days of 8 hrs) but it is good practice since with my new job in June I will be takin a decent pay cut...so come june it will be less of a shock haha.
