Courtney~ I had cramping and bloating at the same time when I was doing stimming and bloating was only getting worse. Cramping was mild when I was stimming it got worse after the ER and ET.

But don't let this scare you serioulsy..It's good even though it is very uncomfortable for you but at least you know your body is responding well to stims.

Sameera~ I have been so freaked out I would not respond...my RE has done a bang up job of preparing me for the worst. Do you think the cramping points to it might be working??!!

Courntey - seriously girl don't worry and stress yourself out. Trust me all these hormones and stuff you are injecting directly to your belly obviously gonna cause some symptoms and side effects.

Cramping and bloating is fine trust me - I have been thru it and didn't let it freak me out - I was just happy to know each time I went to the RE and they did u/s they said I was responding extremely well.

So, try to relax and let your body go with the flow - When do you have your b/w or u/s schedule??

If you are that worried then you can always call your RE's office and ask the nurse. I am sure they will tell you it's normal.

I am starting BCP any time now. I should start AF within the next few days. I would love to be a part in the April May cycle buddies. This is my second go around. I am 24 and my DH is 29. It is a male factor. We are trying a new clinic this go around along with an additive of Menopur. They only retrieved 7 eggs the last time and only two made it. If all goes as planned I will have my retrieval and implantation between May 17th and 23rd. I would appreciate all the advice for a second time arounder~!

Hi yall Happy Monday!

Courtney- I have been stimming for 3 days now and I have really bad cramping...someone on another post said she felt like she had grapefruits in her pants, and I am definetly starting feel the bloat! I would think that is good meaning the follicles are growing??

DrJen- That is so funny that your DH repairs handpieces...I was just thinking you can make a lot of $$ off that! My DH still trains, but he is has been working at a local community college also. He does triathlons, but personally I am lucky if I feel motivated to go the gym at all. How is your stimming going? As for work stress, I just got yelled at by a very pissed off patient...oh well, can't please everyone!

will write more later!

Thanks Sameera for the support! The cramping I am not stressed about, it is the responding that has me turned upside down!!! I actually just got off the phone with my nurse. She said since I am cramping the stimms are probably working. Wont know for sure until Tuesday's BW though. My first US is on Thursday.

Chelly- Love the grapfruit analogy!!

But enough about me...how is the 2WW going?!

see I told you it's normal you just worry about getting drawstring pants LOL cause your ovaries are gonna grow and you are gonna be too bloated.

My 2ww wait is going okay I guess so far I am trying to keep myself busy and not think about it. I am gonna try to be strong and not do HPT and let the nurse break the news.

I was lil worried about multiples just trying to figure out what the chances are of having multiples.

Till then I am here for you guys and support you guys!!!

OK, so I started my BCP's while I was in Jamaica, and the nurse told me to call when I got back to let them know what day I started taking them. So I called this morning, and the nurse just called me back to tell me she has 6 women in front of me, but she would have me a schedule before the end of the week. Wow!! What a busy little business. Now I wish I had found a way to call them last week! (I am so impatient!!) But I am so excited that I will get my schedule!! This is going to be such a long week!!

So how is everyone?

How are all those PUPO ladies feeling after ET? As they say, sticky dust thoughts to you all!

Looks like we have a few getting ready for ER or ET soon!! You are all in my thoughts and prayers!

How are all the ladies doing with the shots? I haven't gotten to that part yet, but it's coming soon. Just want to know what I'm getting ready for!

OK, now I'm just excited about finally getting a schedule and getting this thing going, so I'm ranmbling! Talk to you all later! :D

DrJen-- yeah you are right.. I am having these rashes since past 4-5 days after I started Lupron.. but they are not at the spot where I take the shot..I generally take the shot in my thigh and these rashes are above my belly button :(.. I am hoping that these are due to the injections.....I wud show to the doc when I have my next ultrasound....

Rest I took my first shot of follistim in morn today...wud be taking repronex in evening.. also have to take aspiin..Hope I dont forget... I just juggle myself amongst spo many medicines :)

Have a great one everyone :)

Sameera, Congratulations! Yipee! I'm so happy for you, and I'm sending the sticky thoughts.

If I have this right, I think Jes, Courtney, Michelle, and Amber are our stimming girls. Did I miss anyone? Bloating and cramping are good signs. They were much worse for me during my positive cycle (for what that's worth).

Jes, good luck on your ER. You're in my thoughts.

shep181, yellow is my favorite color, too. :)

Chris, welcome to the POAS-addicts club!

Welcome to all the new people.

Tonight is my last BCP. Pretty happy about that. :)

So much going on!! My thoughts are with all you stimmers! Sorry to hear about the cramping, sorry for me too!

All things well on this front. I go in for my SonoHSG on Wednesday, Lupron next week.

Jeanie - I know, Clomid for DH! We went to a specialist for Male infertility in LA. He had used Clomid for men with some success so we are crossing our fingers. It sure does make him moody. Gives him a little taste of the world of womanhood! Now he knows why I cry over commercials every now and then. LOL

Shep181 - Did your DH have to do any therapies to build sperm count?

Welcome Daisy! A few of us are about a week ahead of you. Wishing the best of luck with round 2!

Go Sameera Go! Take care of yourself and keep positive.

Hi Ladies,
WOW!! Was gone for a mere 24 hours and 2 more pages!!!

Daisy-Welcome!! Rubylee and I are right there with you time wise...

Rubylee- No therapy for DH...his counts are usually aroung 10,000, which is enough to grab a few good swimmers. I think it's interesting your DH is on Clomid, but I've seen it before...I hope it works! I just saw your post about starting Lupron next week...I can't believe it's starting already!

Yellow- Did you start Lupron yet?

JHarris- When do you start Lupron?

Have a great night everyone...prayers for all of you, especially those in the DREADED, HORRENDOUS 2WW......

Hi ladies! Thankyou for all the encouraging words. Have been completely spaced out this week and only just feel up to typing! I got 8 eggs yesterday! Pretty amazing from a 7 follicle scan eh! :? Of course we were over the moon. :D As I was coming round from sedation I apparently asked dh about ten times how many we got LOL. 5 have fertilised, another did but 2 greedy sperms destroyed it and another could possibly get there. Oooooooh, just daren't think past each day, so nerve wracking!!!!!!!! Please, please, please.....
Do you girls have a whole lot of medication to take after ER too? Last time I only had pessaries but now daily are 3 prognova tablets, an asprin, 2 pessaries and a big thick 3 inch long needle of gesterone every other day! My goodness, things have changed in the past few years. After taking my prognova today I had a huge laughing fit - it was great!

Daisy - hello fellow second timer, I've found it a bit easier this time as we know what to expect and when you feel like you're going mad you can remind yourself it's just the drugs! You are so young too - you have loads of time on your side hun x

Rubylee - I know it's not funny your dh has experienced mood swings on the clomid but I did have a little smile at the thought of a man having to see what it's like for us. Sorry! Maybe if every male were given a dose at some point they would understand our problems more eh. x

Jen - so glad AF has started for you. All systems go now........x  I can identify with the zoo in bedroom scene! We have a gorgeous big female doberman in a king size bed. I don't mind being squashed as a few wriggles can get my own way in the bed but it's the SNORING! DH and Molly must plan to have 'see who can snore the loudest' competitions!

Shep - how's the 2ww going?

doddo - not long til test date now? Oooooh, exciting. :P

Michele - oh yes, hot flushes galore on the meds! The nurse gave me my first injection and I went to the supermarket straight after (bad idea!) and felt my head was on fire so had to go and stand next to the chilled section for half an hour! They will get less as you get used to the buserelin. x

Jess - you must be pleased with this fantastic thread you've created. Have you had your ER yet? Enjoy the sedation part. Fingers crossed for you. x

Steph - It's hard to say if accupuncture does do anything but it is a great way to help relax and feel you're doing something positive for your body and mind. I have had acc this time and got 2 more eggs and 2 more fertilisations than last cycle and am 3 years older than then! So go for it. x
I really hope this time everything works out for you, you deserve it - sounds like you've been through the mill my darling x

You hanging on in there Sameera? Remember - chocolate and films! LOL

Amber - hi! Yes, the shots do tend to sting, but of course everyone is different. Clench your teeth and use ice before and after - hope it helps! After a few injections you do get used to it though and it't over in a second. Let me know how you get on. x

Courtney - bloating usually means you're developing lots of follicles! My doc described it to me as each one feeling like a malteser in your tum so the more you have, the bigger they will be expanding your lining. I know it can be scary and I had a bit of a panic attack the night before ER last time because I felt so uncomfortable with 24 follies. Keep your doc up to date but I'm sure all is absolutely fine. The relief when you get them out - like a deflating balloon!

Donna, Jes and Steph - I so hope it all works out for you all this time around. Sending you lots of positive vibes that all 3 of you will be lucky and you can set up your own 'we did it!' thread. XXXXXXX

Thinking of you all - we're getting there, girls!!!!! x x x
