Hi all! You only have to blink and another 3 pages appear on this thread! :o This 2ww is the hardest bit so far and more nerve wracking the closer the date gets. Do you find you analyze every little tingle or cramp? The side effects of the post ET meds wore off yesterday and I wondered what was going on - less dizziness, cramping, bloating and sore boobs......When I thought about it, surely it's this and no other reason? When people get pregnant naturally they don't suddenly get all these mad syptoms weeks before a test result? Please reassure me someone! You don't have to feel continually cramped at this stage? Aaah, it's the 2 ww madness! You just really have no idea what is going on in there do you? I think we all wish and pray so much for a BFP and get ourselves worked up when really women usually don't even know they're pregnant for months! Oh, how lucky eh! It's just I feel pretty normal at the moment, bit weepy and cramped, but I think we all just want to have immediate pregnancy symtoms, like our lovely Sameera getting cravings. Oh, I'm sorry about this rambling. I'll stop now......

Amy - so sorry for your loss, but hopefully you will still feel hopeful because you know you can conceive and next time will be the one. Go for the sedation - I think it's the best part of this process and would certainly use it for any other reason! lol x

Jayne - you going crazy yet on the 2 ww? Of course 8 cell is brill! I'm sure it's the most you CAN get on a 3df? We got 3 and 4 cell last time so were over the moon to get 2 8 cells this time. Hope you're well and keeping busy. x

Donna - do not jump to the worst scenario yet! Your beta was taken early anyway so surely it can't be reliable yet? HPTs do NOT show pos for no reason - I really think you should hang on in there and not dismiss this yet hun. x

DrJen - your retail therapy sounded fun. Did you catch yourself trying not to look at the junior section? Hope your boxers still keeping you warm in bed. x

Chris - how's the stimming goin?

Rubylee - how's snowy Montana? Sounds gorgeous! x

Yellow - how's it all going hun? x

Courtney - how was ER? I've been thinking of you. x

jharris - at last the roller coaster begins so hold on tight! I found the first injections pretty ok and eaier in the stomach - I was also told this time that it's more effective here, but of course it' s where is most comfortable for you. Good luck! x

Chelly - another super fertile EC in the group! Wow, well done! 11 embies too - enough for a football team! Good luck with ET x

Joe - I'm sure the beta will just confirm the best. What is a slippery pulse?

Was it our Jim who suggested the photo? Great idea, tho not a clue how to do it! Any excuse to take a peek at us gorgeous girls eh. LOL

Wishing you all well and happy thoughts. xxxxxxxxx

Hello everyone...just woke up from my ER. My RE told me before I went in that based on my E2 level he thought he would get 3-4 eggs...we got 5. I love when they underestimate me, feels good to keep proving them wrong! I am back to the coach, will post more tomorrow. Everyone cross fingers and toes for good fertilization tomorrow.

Hi everyone!

Well, I got through the hysteroscopy today. They gave me Valium and Ponstel, so it wasn't nearly as bad as the last time, but still very painful. They strapped me down this time - I guess they remembered when I tried to jump off the bed the last time! LOL.

Anyway, the results were not what we wanted - there is a polyp that needs removing. I'm thinking the surgery will be scheduled next week and hoping, hoping, hoping this does not push our IVF cycle back. Fingers crossed!

Donna - I'm thinking positive thoughts for your Beta!!

mjwilliams-Wow that is wonderful!!! Congrats!

AmberB28-I am so sorry your cycle was cancelled but keep your chin up and it will happen for you next time.

Donna-You need to untie your tubes!!! I had mine untied in May 07 (after 10 years) and was pregnant in October 07…It was ectopic but I was still prego! The only reason I have not been able to get prego very easy since the reversal is because of my egg quality and I am 37. The reversal was only $5k and worth every penny…you can try for free however many times you would like and if it happens it happens. That is our plan if this last IVF cycle does not work…if you need to talk please call me. 214-491-0011.

Dri-Jim-Congrats on the ET….2-8cell is great!

Heekinje-Welcome to the Board!!! 8 cells are great and for a 3 day transfer that is what we all want. I don’t think your should have any signs yet but you will soon enough…morning sickness, fatigue…etc! Wow so many and we want them all.

Chelly180-11 out of 17 eggies…that is wonderful…I hope I get that many!

Hope everyone is well and I an so anxious to get started!!!

Hi everyone, I want to thank all of you for your kind words and encouragement. Results are in and and we received a big ole BFP++++. My DW's HCG levels are at 389 today. We go back on Friday for a follow up.

Jeanie a slippery pulse is the way the pulse feels like pearls going through the veins from what were told and our acupuncturist is trained on detection.

Thanks and talk to all soon.

Joe :D

Congrats Joe!! that is so exciting to hear!! Most of my family lives in Sequim, WA. Ever heard of it?

wantamiraclebaby - glad everything is looking good for you. Looks like we are on the same days. My b/w and US is also on May 2nd.

Jharris12 - How was your first shot? I do my shots in my tummy. The first few times it took me awhile to work up sticking myself. This is my first full IvF. I had started Lupron in Feb., but had to cancel because of ectopic pregnancy. the first time for Lupron I had hot flashes. This time just tired and a few headaches.

What protocol are you guys on? Looks like I will take Gonal-F, Repronex, and menopur for stimms. They gave me donated medicines. How much do most of you use? I have 2 Gonal F 450 IU vials, 3 Repronex 75 IU vials, and 3 Menopur 75 IU vials. Does that sound like enough?

It is so exciting hearing about the eggs you guys are getting.

For all you in 2ww hope you get through the time without to much stress.

Gosh, I can't keep up with you guys! I'm sooo tired. We were back in St Louis today for b/w appt and DH had a post op for his uvuloplasty. Then he rushed me back to work. Nurse called and said everything looks good. I go back to St Louis/RE Sat for b/w and u/s. Finally moving forward!

Donna-I'm so sorry. Has your RE called to explain how you could get a positive HPT and a negative beta? Are they going to re-test? Have you scheduled a consultation with your RE? Let us know. (Sorry so many ques.)

Chelly and Courtney-congrats on the eggs/embies! After my last ER I felt like a horse kicked me in the stomach. How are you ladies doing?

Jeanie-Unfortunately, all these drugs do crazy things to our minds and bodies. Hang in there. I wish we could know immediately if everything worked. I'm not a very patient person and like an immediate answer to things. Unfortunately, IVF is trying my patience! How did you know I still look in the junior section? :) My boxers are great! They just came inside from playing. It has been warm here the last few days (finally!!). How are your fur babies?

Joe-Congrats on the BFP!!!

JesJes-Rest and take it easy! Thanks for updating the list.

ajdoherty-sorry the hysteroscopy was painful with the mild sedation. I'm sorry they found a polyp, but better now than after starting IVF. Please keep us updated on your progress/schedule.

Jayne-Welcome! As everyone else has said, 8 cell embies on day 3 are excellent! Congrats.

Rubylee-I've always wanted to go to Montana. Where are you guys staying? I know the feeling of missing your fur babies. Enjoy yourself!

Yellow-Hi! How's everything?

SDtrying-We are certainly a group of women with alot going on! What area of medicine are you specializing in? I may have asked before and now I can't remember. I'll blame it on all the meds :) . 2 of my best friends are physicians. One is an ER doc and one is a psychiatrist (I joke that I need my free, weekly sessions with her).

jharris-Congrats on starting the meds--you're that much closer!!

Amber-Hi. Glad to hear you are discussing you next steps with your RE. It always helps when they are postitive.

Sameera-Stay strong, as I know you are. Praying for your BFP!

Hi to Chris, wantamiraclebaby, and smattison--sorry if I missed anyone--I'm tired, so I think I'll go to bed soon!

turtlesonastump (cute!)-I am on a diff protocol-Lupron and Follistem--sorry I can't be of more help.

Hi Everyone,
For the heck of it I took another HPT tonight, and guess what??? Another faint positive. I even had my son POAS the same brand, and he isn't pregnant. LOL.

I am getting another beta tomorrow to be sure. I know I am not loosing my mind.

My RE office had me stop my progesterone and estrogen and I had no dosage last night. I took it tonight just in case. I hope If I am pregnant for some strange reason I hope I didn't hurt it with not taking the dosage yesterday.

The RE office said they have no clue as to why I would keep getting positive HPT's and a negative beta. If the beta is negative again, I will stop the meds and wait for Aunt Flo. I just want to double check.

Thank you everyone for your support.

PS. I know it wasn't too early for Blood test because it was 15 days from conception and I had positive pregnancy tests.
