Glad to see you Steph1. How did you get a nutritionist appt? Is that through your OB?

nims, protein can be an early sign of pre-eclampsia. If its just a trace and you're blood pressure's ok then its not a problem but they should monitor it. May sure you put your feet up if your ankles swell, drink plenty to avoid fluid retention and let them know if you get any other swelling (hands etc).

Think they can tell the sex from 20wk scan but you never know maybe they can tell earlier - i know in my appt schedule they said thats when to ask for me - but may be each country is different...... you can only ask - good luck hun xx

Hey Su - thanks for that, as they weren't worried then I won't either - blood pressure was ok - infact mine is always low - and no swellling either.

Are you finding how people like to comment on your size - your either 'wow your big' or 'uumm a bit small' - as much as i'm proud of my bump I'd wish people would keep their opinions to themselves..... I had a security guy poke me the other day - was like WTF - I was too stunned to say anything and then he had the blimmin cheek to say how big i was..... since when have security guards been trained in midwifery!!! arrrgghhh....

Peq - great to see you hun - can't believe you have to wait til 5th june - is that your 20wk scan?? Good news on the boss front - did they take it ok??

Steph - your symptons will subside but yeah very scary but its natural and then you can get on and enjoy - unfort i didn't have many - only sore b@@bs - your little munchkins are settling in for the duration thats all

Hope - hey so the m/s still there then! Poor love - you must have my share too - sorry!!

Ok Mir you can stop rubbing it now - we get it - your going on vacation - look there are plenty of spare sunbeds for all of us to join you !!!

Yep, I know just what you mean, I enjoyed the comments at first but it was really starting to get to me at work the other day. I'm proud of my bump too but I don't appreciate being made to feel I'm bigger than I should be by now. The last 2 pregnant women in my dept were both stick thin before they conceived and had nice, neat little bumps. I'm just average build and have a more all-round bump. Hopefully that means I'm having a girl as they both had boys

yup it was set thru my OB...cuz they are CONVINCED I am gonna have GD cuz of my fat arse! Yeh that is why they tried to KILL me with that 3hr glucose test! Even the nutritionist was like OMG you aren't even close at this point to being diabetic....YEAH I KNOW!!! Grrr. Anyways, I found it kinda pointless. Oh sure if I had a job that I could #1 keep food in a fridge so I can take things that need to be cold, or #2 actually had a job where I COULD EAT, then sure it would help! But she wants me to take dairy, cheeses, and eat 3 meals/snacks while at work alone! Well shit, I am lucky if I can even get a few mouthfuls of ANYTHING...anyways, I'm just like grrr!

Got to talk to the doc on the phone too. She said she didn't see anythign previously about a fibroid in my cervix. I was like well the report from 2/4 sais something about one. She was like oh I will go back and look...yeh good plan. She said well you have an apt in about 1-2 weeks right? I was like no, they didn't schedule me for 5 whole weeks despite me telling them you wanted me in at 4. She told me to call em and have em get me in for 2 weeks out so they can check me. So I did..next apt is May 9 now instead of the 22nd...stil no scan though til June 5th. They scheduled me again with the only doc I've ever seen where as my apt on the 22nd was with a different person on the team. I was told in the beginning I'd have apts with all the people on the team (I think there is 5 or 6)...well I keep meeting with her. I dunno kinda bothers me I haven't met with anyone else if that was the idea. Oh well, guess today I'm just kinda moody..go figure!

When's your apt??? Early? I work at 2 so you better be here early to report young lady!

June 5th is like my 20 week scan but I think I will only be like 19...let me count...yup 19. And the boss thing went very well I believe! I HAD to tell em...my belly is NOT hidable anymore! Not even close!!! I swear the kid is laying horizontally from my spine to my belly button!

How are we all? Hope ur all well and fighting fit

All u 'awaiting treatment' ladies ... (not many of 'us' left now) How is everything going on tmt (or not on tmt) hell, how is everything going full stop lol ....

Im fine, just 5 days left until i start stimms (next Wednesday 30th) roll on i cant bloody wait - dont know how i managed to get thru the last 30 odd days - but it seems i have thank god

Thinking of changing the name of the thread - as we have ladies who are awaiting, ladies who are having and ladies who have had lol - what u think, any suggestions as to what i should call it????

ok so.....today is CD6 for me......and my 4th day of clomid....... THANK GOD i haven't seemed to notice any "raging *****" hormones coming out as a side affect (i do that quite well on my own thank you!!!) just a few hot flashes during the night hours - so i guess i'm lucky!! i SWEAR i can feel my ovaries "working" ---- actually kind of strange cuz i feel similar to when i was on injectibles - stimming for IVF.....crazy......just going crazy!!!

well -- happy friday to all!!!! sorry to all i missed --- but know i'm thinking of you!!!!!!!!!!!!! can't play much today, but will check in as often as i can!!!! bye-bye for now ladies.......

Hey ICSI! I am definitely hanging on for dear life on this thread, j/k, really I am enjoying you posts!!!

TGIF is right!! today is a bad friday at my job though. we are having lay offs and I am sitting outside an office where some of the people are being told. It so sucks!! I am really looking forward to this day being over and I don't have any meetings today so I will be at my PC working and listening...

Welsh - come on those little eggies!! I was never on clomid or anything. DH's swimmies are so bad we had to go straight to ISCI, so I can't help with the symptoms you are feeling but I figure the more the merrier right!!
