Congratulations, Stephanie. I'm so happy for you!

SDtrying, when are you starting stims? What stims are you taking? (I'm sorry if you posted already. I can't remember anything.) Me, just follistim.

Chris, I'm sorry your cycle didn't work out the way you'd hoped. Maybe this IUI will be just what you need. Good luck!

Courtney, hope your ET was a breeze. Let us know when you get a chance. Sorry I didn't wish you well beforehand. I'm sending baby vibes!

Jessica, thanks for keeping us updated. :)

Michele, we haven't heard from you in awhile. How are you doing? Hope all is well.

I think I have a touch of stomach flu. It's going around the neighborhood. I hope it doesn't interfere with this cycle.

Last night's follistim injection was a breeze. DH did a great job. I hardly felt a thing. Can't wait to feel the follies growing.

This infertility thing sucks. It makes nice, caring people trend lightly around emotional issues.

I haven't told very many people about my fertility issues. I hated hearing about other's pregnancies. It's not that I didn't want people to be happy and start their families. Of course not. It just always made me feel like, why not me! I had to be supportive and not think about my years of anguish, tears, marriage problems, feeling like a failure as a woman and a wife -- all the white lies when asked if we thought we'd have kids. I imagine more than I few of you have shared these painful feelings.

We're fortunate to live in this day and age when there are so many treatment options. So many of us will have the families we wished for with a little help. But we are more than our fertility. I wish you all find a path in life that is rich and meaningful for you. The one we're hoping for now or something unexpected and exciting. We are all strong women for going through this!

OK, that's enough Oprah show talk for now.

Hugs and baby dust to all!

Hi Ladies! I just got back from St Louis and got the call from my nurse. I trigger Sunday and go for ER on Tuesday, 4/29--a day earlier than I thought!

JesJes-thanks again for updating everything. ER is now 4/29. How are you feeling? Keep resting.

Chelly-How are you?

Courtney-Congrats on the ET!

Yellow-Thanks, the Oprah speech was great.

Sameera-Good for you-you're being strong with the HPT's--hoping I can too!

Stephanie-congrats on the BFP!!!

Chris-keep up your PMA--this IUI may very well result in a BFP for you

Hi to everyone else. Sorry if I missed anyone, these drugs seem to make me forgetful and the server is temporarily unavail, so I can't look back at anyone's posts.

Courtney-

Congrats. You're progressing and welcome to the 2ww! You did the same thing Dri did. 2 8-cells 3dt's. She's now 5dp it.

I really hope this works for you.

Hello Ladies and Gents,

I didnt post for a while because I didnt know when I was going to start everything...until now. I started my lupron last night (Friday), and will begin my Follitism on Monday.

This is my second try, so I am being extra careful about everything. Trying not to get all excited about stuff. I did have OHSS, so I am a little worried about going through all that again, but I have eliminated almost all my carbs from my diet as my DR. reccommended. Hope it goes better this time.

Here is my timeline as of right now:
Lupron 4/25
Follitism 4/28
ER 5/9
ET 5/12

Best of luck to everyone!!

Hey Fertile Turtles!

So, I was wondering if anyone thought it might be a good idea to start individual threads for people on the day of their Betas? That way we can give them special attention for celebration and/or support. We've got such a great group going here that sometimes I miss important things because the thread is so long- what do you think?

DrJen- Great news about your early ER! How exciting! To answer one of your past questions- My speciality is a combined training program in family medicine and psychiatry. Where does your psychiatrist friend work?

LoveBug- good luck on Monday starting stim!

Turtle- regarding knowing if its "enough" meds, my understanding is that they kinda shoot in the dark initially and then change things up regarding your response. GL

Doddo- How are you doing? Hope you are hangin' in

MJWilliams- So glad to hear everything is going well, Congrats again!

Stephanie- Congrats that's wonderful!

Sameera- You are a woman made of steel, I'm so excited to hear about your POAS tonight, will you post after? House hunting is going well for me, we're in escrow now, yeah!

Jeanie- I enjoyed your post, the 2ww is so hard. glad i know what to expect now- thanks

JesJes- I'm so thrilled you are getting positives, I can't wait til your Beta day!

Courtney- how are you doing on the 2ww?

Amy- are you having surgery this week?

Yellow- I liked your oprah speech too! Are you feeling better? Hope so. Have you found a rental yet? Good Luck looking at more places today. Regarding your post about keeping IVF private, I think I have the opposite problem. I've told a million people and think perhaps I should have been more selective. I'm sure there is a happy medium regarding privacy that is tough to find- let me know if anyone has it figured out!

to_have_fun, Amber, wantamiracle,JHarris,Daisy,RUbylee,Shep, hopeful,JennieH,DRI-Jim,Chell,babyorbust: Hi to all of you and anyone else I missed! (Thanks JesJes for the list as always to help me try to get everyone)

Hi everyone,

I have a hard time making sense of alot of the abbreviations here on the board, and even elsewhere. What I'm trying to figure out right now, is this what "Day after HCG or LH" I am. I had my retrieval on the 9th, with a 5 day transfer, on the 14th. I am trying to read a chart regarding hcg levels, and I don't know where to look. Any help would be appreciated! I know alot of you know so much about this stuff!

Hi everyone! Sorry not posted for a while, been feeling a bit upset and didn't want to be depressing with you all neing so positive. Have been reading how some of you got positive HPT results just days after transfer and I haven't on 11th day so just feel awful and so scared. I know it's still too early really so will keep praying and WILL NOT GIVE UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Chris - I SO understand where you're coming from and have the same situation with my sister in law. She's only 26 and on her 2nd child, not planned again and doesn't work and, like your friend, will still complain. I feel like a complete ***** the way I have been feeling about her, so resentful and even hateful! I am a kind, caring person and despise these thoughts I have been having but the unfairness of our situation and all the meds can turn us in to something we're not, for a short while anyway (I hope!) Best of luck with your IUI - you have some great follies there waiting to be be impregnated. xxxxxxxx

Courtney - you just keep on showing them! You can't do better that 2 8 cells on 3dt and have made it to the furthest stage. Welcome to the joys of the 2ww. x

Steph - wowee! Congratulations, hun!!!!!!!!!!!! :D :D :D

Yellow - how are the stimms going? I hope you don't have a tummy bug - let's hope all those injections scare it away. x

heekinje - My cramps have gone away too as the side effects of the post et drugs have worn off. Let's hope this is good for us eh, sure it is as less pain!!!!!! x

DRJen - good luck with ER tues. Your fur babies will give you extra big licks when you go back home and keep you company during your BR. x

Lovebug - sorry to hear about your OHSS. Sounds like you're well prepared this time. As if there aren't enough worries stimming. Look after yourself hun. x

Sameera - ooh, you're almost there. Waiting to hear your excited news (tomorrow, isn't it?) xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Wishing everyone all the best always - we'll stay strong and, yes, we are bloody tough and amazing women! The number of people who have said to me 'Oh, I couln't do it' and they're probably right (unless they had to, of course) so we ARE a special breed!!!!!!!

ok...so much to read I am so behind!!

How's everyone doing?? :)

I just wanted to let you guys know that yesterday I did my HPT at 5:pm in the afternoon and I told my dh to go look at the results as I do not have any courage to handle.

Well he called my name and the way he called it - I just knew it that it was negative and I looked at him and he said come see it and I just looked at the 2 dark lines and I started crying and crying...

I cannot believe it that the line was darker then the control line...I just lost it and it was just amazing!!

I didnt fully believe it so I woke up at 3am in the morning today and did the test and it came positive - again two dark line and I was so freaking happy!!!

I just hope my beta is good and they officially tell me I am pregnant :)

Jeanie - Please don't be discouraged and lose hope! You still have time till your beta :)

Chris - How are you feeling? hope all is well.

Courtney - Yay 2ww is fun! just keep yourself busy and read these posts and it will keep you busy and not think about results or beta :)

Stephanie - Congratulations again!

Yellow - Hope your stimming is going well?

Heekinje - good to know your cramps are gone - I wish I could say my bloating is gone but NO!! that thing is staying on for good LOL

DrJen - Good luck with your ER :) keeping my fingers crossed for you.

LB - Ouch, OHSS sucks I am sorry - Hope everything works out. did they say it's severe or mild OHSS?

Dri-Jim - Hope your DW is doing well.

SD- HOpe all is well with you.

JesJes - Yaya on getting positives - Good luck with your beta.

Has anyone heard from Donna? I haven't seen her posted at all - hope she is fine.

Everyone else I hope you guys are all doing well :) take care of yourselves..

Hi friends!! Sorry I haven't posted in a while! DH has not let me out of bed since our embies were put in on Friday...we are 2dp3dt!
Beta is 5/4...I am going to try my hardest not to POAS, but I have one under my bathroom counter just in case!
ET was fine...I kinda freaked before the ER so the doc called in some valium for me so it was smooth sailing. They gave us pics of the embies, they implanted 2- 8cell grade A's...and gave us a sono pic of the uterus right after which was kinda cool.
I have been laying about the house all weekend; the only thing that is kinda freeking me out is I have been having some pretty bad cramping since the day after transfer...since this is my 1st IVF I don't know if this is normal?
Its all in God's hands now...we are praying for our embies to stick!!
Will post personals tomorrow...I have to go watch my San Antonio Spurs try to sweep the Suns!
God Bless!
