Thanks everyone for your input on my situation with my friend. I feel so bad that I feel that way. Last night we all went out and she was saying how excited she will be when I get PG. So then it made me feel even worse. O'well, she didn't get PG this month so I am praying that I get a BFP so then I won't have any harsh feelings when she gets here BFP.

OMG so many BFP!!! Yeah Sameera!!!! Is that 4 total for the group- I guess I'll have to wait for the update from JesJes to know for sure. I'm glad you got your BFP JesJes (it'll make keeping the list far more fun!)

I hope those that end up preggers after this cycle stick together through the pregnancy. Is there a pregnancy thread on this board somewhere? That would be fun! I hope I can join someday if not I'll be back on the June/July buddy group!

I would love to join the thread. My beta will be on 05/05. I wish I had come on to this website sooner to be able to share the experience. I'm still figuring all the abbreviations that are used.
To share my story, I had a very large ovarian cyst removed in Nov. They could not save the ovary and removed it as well. Then I was put on the pill for 2 consecutive "3 weeks periods" with 3 days rest in between. I was started on Bravelle and Menopur on 04/04 and I produced 3 follicles and 2 mature eggs at retrieval. Both fertilized and produced grade A embryos and on day five changed into blastocysts. Transfer was on the 24 and now I join many other women in this 2ww.
I hope we see lots of smileys next to all the names !
It's been a pleasure reading all the stories and see the strength that we are all capable of having !
So let's all remain very positive and I send tons of good vibes your way !

For everyone else, I'm thinking about you all, too! Hope you are doing well?!

OK, so I have a dilemma. I just realized that Memorial Day weekend is the weekend after my proposed ET. I should transfer probably Sun. May 18, and then Memorial Day will be that next weekend. We are supposed to go to the beach w/my DH's family that Friday through Monday after ET. The tricky thing is, we haven't told anyone we are going through IVF. That way if it doesn't work, we won't have to tell anyone, but if it does, it will be a great surprise to everybody! So I know I will be on rest the first few days after ET, but how active can you be after the first 3 days of ET? Should I be concerned about going to the beach only a few days after ET? And what excuse can I give everyone for why I'm not drinking with them? Any advice, ideas or suggestions? Thanks everybody in advance! You all have been such a big help! TAlk to you all later!

Happy Monday all!
I don't know why is posted my beta is 5/4 but it is really 5/9; if you can update that jesjes. I guess it was wishful thinking...
This whole 2ww is killer; I kept having really bad cramps all weekend.
So happy to see we have so many BFP's already!!!

DrJen- good luck with ER tomorrow! ask them for some reglan so you dont have any of that nasty nausea!

Jim- how is adrianna doing? has she had any cramping or symptoms?

jharris- I had to be on bed rest the 1st 48 hours then they said absolutely no exercise or aerobic activity or lifting heavier than 10 lbs. Is it going to be a lounging on the beach type of thing; or a volleyball/surfing type of thing? You may want to fake an injury or something so you can lounge around and tell them you are on some new fad diet that you can't drink alcohol.

sameera- congratulations!

just an aside- to all the fur baby mamas- I think my little fur baby snickers is feeling jealous already, she is a little over 12lbs, so I can't pick her up and I think she is sad! To make up for it we let her and pikachu (20lbs hes a big boy) sleep in the bed with us saturday night. I guess they better enjoy it now!

Hi, I hope you're doing well. I think your cramps are a good thing. Hopefully.

Dri is doing good. She had cramps for a couple days, boobs hurting, very tired, strange craving the other day. I think the cramps have stopped though so who knows?

It's now 10dper. I think she'll take a hpt in a couple of days. I'll keep you guys updated and you do the same.

You guys ready? I got my beta results and my heart was beating so fast I cannot even tell you!!!!

My beta results were 506!!! she said the numbers are great and my u/s is scheduled for 5/14

Jim- Thanks for the advice. I called the nurse and she said cramping was normal after ET b/c your ovaries are still out of wack from the retrieval. It does seem to be getting better though. I am only 3dp3dt and I'm already going batty from the wait!
