Hey Ladies -

I just wanted to let you all know that you haven't seen a post from me regarding the changes only because i haven't been on line. We've had family in town this wknd and i haven't had a moment to catch up.

I am totally NOT offended by all of your comments - and I completely understand. We do share a special bond on this thread that most other ppl in our lives don't (or couldn't) understand. I apologize to each of you for any hurt that I might have caused due to any of my posts. I know it is not personal and that you are happy for all of us. But I do remember waiting and wanting and even though I was happy for our friends that got BFPs, I was sad too.

I love you all and hope you don't mind if I still keep up with you - You all are in my thoughts and prayers DAILY and I would like to continue to be of support if I can. You all did it for me and I want to continue to do it for you if that's ok.

Hugs and baby dust to everyone!!!

Miracle - listen to Angie and make sure you start packing the essentials today. And by essentials I do not mean toothbrush.

You have to do one totally crazy thing (just so we know that some of Angie and Becky has rubbed off on you) and shock your DH (in a nice way of, course). And then you have to tell us all about it.

Hi girls,

Sorry I have not posted much, been very busy traveling to and fro new RE in the city. It takes a long time to get there and back...plus I've been trying to fit in the accupuncture. Yesterday & today when I got home I had to nap because I've had to get up at 4am to start the commute. And I have not been able to get to bed early enough to get a good night's sleep. (I am not napper mind you, but this is different) Tonite I am really going to try to get to bed early. I will be going to work tomorrow... no Re appointment.

Yesterday I was up at 4am and in my car at 4:30 ish. I was driving along and there was a huge accident. The police blocked the road and would let no one through. The detour was bringing me way out of my way to the train. (Train to the city) So I was speeding cause I didn't want to miss the train for the early morning appointment. I blew off a stop sign and got pulled over by a cop!!! UGH! I was already so late. So I couldn't help myself... I started to cry and gave him my whole sob story about having a miscarriage and failed IVF cycles and having to travel so far to a specialist... etc. etc. And he ended up not giving me a ticket. My DH thought it was a little in poor taste to use my "situation" as a way to get out of a ticket, but it worked. Screw that... I was not gonna have to pay more for the crap that I've already been dealt. Do you know how much traveling I've had to do over the past year and a half to get to a doctor and then try to get to work at a decent hour. About 3 hours of travel every morning BEFORE work. And now the new RE is even further away.

Am I a bad person for using my IVF journey to get out of a ticket???
Cause I really don't feel so bad about it. It's certainly not like I lied.

So... I do hope you preggers girls keep posting on here. It would be very sad to not have you all here. Don't ya go and forget all of us!!!

Thanks Hope & Mir for posting here and sticking with us.

Girls, I am not going to do personals right now. I hope that it's ok. Just want you to know that I've read all your posts and it's really nice to see some posts from you guys again. Let's keep it up. I am with you. -chriss

I just checked in before bed and I had to post ref your ticket!! I don't think it's bad at all!! After all, you were genuinely upset and in a hurry to get to the RE's and it is stressful!! You told the truth and there's nothing wrong with that! Tell your DH that is why officers' have discretion - they don't have to write you a ticket just because they stopped you! Who knows, maybe he and his wife are going thru it too... there are a lot of us out there! Now just be careful and no more speeding! (I doubt he'll be as generous the next time! ;) )

no Chris - like you said we are dealt a big enough financial blow with IVF already - those extra bills like thaT CAN GO SCREW!!! - sounds like you have been lucky not to get a ticket sooner with all the travelling

Chriss - you have done nothing wrong. Its not like you caused an accident or harmed someone with your speeding. Like someone said there is a reason the cops can use their discretion. Mind you, if he didn't beleive you, he would have listened to you but still given you a ticket.

Hopefully you have a better day today!

Chriss - don't feel bad. I am sure I would have done the same thing. You are under so much stress and I know what it's like normally to have to get to a train and that stressful enough, but to know you have to get to the train for a dr appt and then stress about gettting to work is ALOT on your plate!!! I don't think you said what you said to get out of the ticket. I think it just all came to a head at that moment and you had to let it out. You are human and I am glad to hear that the cop understood. Big *hugs* for you!! it's done and you shouldn't feel bad or guilty anymore about it. *hugs* again. I hope you have a better day today!!

Good morning to everyone else!! Happy Tuesday :P
