Yellow - 39 eggs are awesome - but don't let that one thing set you back. Whether you transfer now or later - I really hope everything works out for you :)

SD - My u/s is scheduled for May 14th so it's about a week away from today!! ugh, this wait is horrible.

Today i have been a little b*tchy to my dh - not trying to but I dunno having some mood swings since this morning. Plus i am so tired and exhausted I feel like I will not make it thru the day!!

I am falling asleep on top of it - I keep forgeting to take prenatal vitamins - ugh, i am just not having a wonderful day :(

Well, I hope you guys have a wonderful day and take care ladies.

SD: I wish you the very best today with your Retrieval...just be prepared for someone to call you with a life-altering crisis, like their cat's hair is falling out, and they won't understand why you can't drop everything today and be there to help sweep up the fur! Rest assured, though, they will be able to wait 3-5 days and expect you to come over then
Take care and get some rest!!

SDtrying-Thinking of you this morning--good luck with your ER. Looking forward to hearing how it goes. You and shep made me laugh  . Everything you both said is so true! Initially the needles in my ears were more of an irritation, but I have gotten used to them now. We'll see if I can keep them in all week!

Yellow-Hope you're feeling ok. I also heard that lots of women get pregnant via FET when they don't right after ER due to things calming down, etc. It's good your RE is being more careful at this point. Please keep us updated.

Turtle-good luck with your next b/w and u/s--I know the wait is difficult. My cycle was postponed by 1wk, but my body eventually caught up.

Amber-my prayers are continuing for you-hoping for lots of great eggs!

jharris-How are the new meds doing? It's ok to cry--I've done my share.

Well, I'm back to work today! Hopefully this will keep my mind somewhat occupied. Jenny

Hi yall Happy Wednesday!
2 more days until my beta! I am still holding out on the POAS, so it will be a surprise, good or bad. I woke up in the middle of the night b/c I had the worst cramping, I thought I was dying and I wanted to throw up...I took a tylenol and was able to get back to sleep but I still felt like crap when I woke up this morning.
For those of yall on the 2ww or post 2ww, have yall had really bad cramping too? Sometimes I feel like my uterus is going to fall out or something...could be gas -TMI- I have been extra gassey lately. I just feel like I have so much pressure in my belly.
I found out I only have 1 frostie  ...I was hoping for more but only 1 made it to blast. I was wondering if that meant my 3 day embies were more likely to poop out too and not implant?
I figure I've gone this far no POAS, so I can wait another 2 days!
God Bless!

Michele - Yay for not POAS-ing!! I do get cramping on/off and when I do get cramping it hurts like hell. I was cramping really bad yesterday but today not so much. I am getting headaches though! ugh they make you feel like crap...

Try to take extra strength Tylenol if it gets really bad but other than that you can't really do much. Maybe use heating pad or something?

Well, look at the bright side you at least one frostie - I didn't had any left!!! it was very disappointing for me but I am so happy at the same time that I don't have to worry about it anymore.

So, I am praying and hoping that the ones you transfered have implanted and you are gonna be a mommy!! :)

Good luck with everything girlie!

Hi Ladies. I got wonderful news this afternoon. I have 2 frosties :D . I am very happy, as I had none from my first cycle. I started jumping up and down and screaming at work when I got the call. My entire staff knows what I'm going thru. I'm currently 3dp5dt and again finding this to be a difficult waiting period.

Chelly-I am not going to POAS either. It made me a crazy person last cycle. I got rid of all of my HPTs. I have heard that cramping is not a bad sign. I'm just a crampy person in general, so never have known what to make of mine. But, I too am gaseous (is that a word?). Anyway, I think alot of these symptoms have to do with the progesterone. Be happy that you have 1 frostie. This is by no means a reflection on the embies they have already transferred. Remember, they transfer the best first. Look at Sameera :)

SDtring-How did your ER go? I'm sure you're exhausted.

Hi guys- yes, I'm absolutely exhausted and I feel like after they put me under anesthesia they used my ovaries for a punching bag (ya know, the little ones, they do for speed).

But good news- we had 20 total eggs- 15 mature ones, 2 "intermediate" and 3 immature.

I'm very pleased with the number, now let the waiting begn...

Gonna take a nap now

I barely remember my posts from Tuesday. I think the drugs were still affecting me. :) We have 18 embryos. They froze all of them. My clinic freezes at the one cell stage. So, I'm waiting for AF to get ready for my FET!

SDtrying, congratulations! That's a perfect number of eggs. Can't wait to hear the fert report.

Michele, you are very strong not to POAS. I'd never last. Good luck tomorrow!

DrJen, that's fabulous that you have frosties! Of course, the little embies they transfered are going to stick!

sameera, sorry to hear it's been an emotional ride. I guess pregnancy does that to you. Hang in there.

Shep181 & SD, you crack me up, too! It does seem like everything happens at once. I made my DH take this week off to deal with all the crises that were sure to arise. So far the only crisis has been NO TRANSFER! :(

Hi all. How is everyone today?

cjpreasha: Welcome to the boards. Congrats on your ET! I'm not at my 2ww yet, but there are a couple here for you to wait with!

Yellow: Congrats to you on 18 embies!! How soon do you get to do the FET?

SD & Hubby: Congrats to you on your ER!! SD, get you some rest and get ready for that ET!!

DrJen: Congrats to you on the frosties! That is very exciting news!

WOW, so many congrats going out today!! :D

How is everyone else doing today? Well my E2 level finally went up to 510 yesterday, and then I had to go in this morning for the 5th day in a row for more BW. I also had an US. Looks like possibly 3 follies on my right, and 5 or 6 on the left, but they are all still on the small side under 13mm. So the nurse said we would just have to wait and see what the BW shows to know where to go from here. It didn't sound very reassuring. I keep telling myself to have faith, and that this in in God's hands, and if it is in his plan, then it will happen. But I've still been an emotional mess today. I am supposed to be working, but it's hard to concentrate. I wish I could just go home and sleep, but if this does work out, then I need the time to take for the ER and ET. Wow, IVf is draining!!!

Too late for a newcomer?

Post by MommyTwingle »

Hey ladies; hope you don't mind me jumping in so late in the game. I'm in the 2WW and losing my mind, so I'm doing anything I can think of to stay busy which mostly is surfing the net these days! BETA is Monday.

Happy Thursday!
Beta is tomorrow yall!!! I can't believe I made it this far into the 2ww w/o POAS! I am soo nervous about tomorrow....I took the afternoon off b/c I don't want to be at work when I find out. I keep praying for a BFP!!

welcome to the board- mommytwingle & cj! good luck with the 2ww!

jharris- stay positive! you have follies, they just need a little more time!

yellow- congrats on the successful ER! Did they say how long it takes to get AF after stimming?

sdtrying- yea for the all the eggs! Are you doing 3 or 5dt? get some rest!

drjen- congrats on having 2 frosties! at least you have an even pair! I think not POAS has helped keep me sane, I think if I would have I would overanalyze. I am enjoying the babying I am getting from DH since he thinks i'm preggo already. He already has names picked for our twins (he thinks since they put 2 we will have 2) I pray that I get a BFP and I can make him a daddy, I think he will be amazing!

sameera- I still get the cramping, it seems worse at night. I took an extra strength tylenol before bed and I was able to sleep through the night. Thank you for the encouraging words. You are right, I should be thankful for my one lonely frostie...hopefully I won't have to use him/her! when is your next sono?

seriously, I am going to poop my pants waiting for the phone call tomorrow! The next 24 hours is going to be killer!!

God Bless you all!!
