SD - oh man i don't know if I can handle triplets that would be like raising 4 kids at once!!!

I think twins is more likely possibility too - of course cause of IVF and we have twins in our family both my side and his side of the family! so I dunno if the family hereditery plays any role in it at all..

MommyTwingle - thank you for taking time to post - now i am really scared!! I do hope that girl is doing great and feeling good. cause I sure am nervous for her..

3 kids growing inside of you its so crazy! i mean it's amazing that can happen but it's wild at the same time.

kimmy~We did 2 embies on a 3dt, 2-8 cell Grade 2 (1 being the best at my clinic). The beta was taken 12dp3dt. I have diminished ovarian reserve, we only got 5 eggs...but all 5 fertilized and two were strong so we moved forward with a 3dt. The decision of how many was really made for us...which I am very thankful!!! Good luck to you! Where are you in your cycle...so hard to keep up!?

SDtrying, 14 embies. Fantastic! Good luck on Monday. Sticky dust to you!

Courtney, congratulations! So happy for you. That is a very strong beta. Yay, twins!

Rubylee, I don't think I told you how wonderful I think it is that you are donating eggs. You are a generous and kind person.

I had a crazy first cycle. We transfered two embryos. They both implanted -- one in my fallopian tube and one in my uterus. It's called a heterotopic pregnancy. They missed the one in the fallopian tube at the first ultrasound. They didn't find it until I was having a lot of pain.

I had surgery when I was 6 weeks along. Thankfully, the little one in the uterus made it. She'll be 2 this summer. :) Heterotopics really rare! I don't mean to freak anyone out, but make sure they check the tubes!

Good morning active board members! So much going on as usual! And it's finally FRIDAY!! It's been a long week!

SD: That is fantastic news! You will have to let us know when you get your fert report!

Courtney: I can't remember now if I congratulated you or not, either way, it is still amazing news! And a fantastic beta! When is the US?

daisy: Good luck with your stims!

Hope everyone else is doing well. Well I have decided that my RE office is trying to drive me insane! The way we get our results is the nurse gets the results and instructions from the Dr, then they record it on a patient response line that we have to call and get. They say to call after 3. Well Tue and Wed it was more like 5 and 5:15 before I had a message. Then last night, when I still didn't have a message at 5:30, I called the answering service and told them to page my nurse that I hadn't gotten a message yet. Then 2 hours later after not hearing, I called again! Finally she called back. Apparently they had someone else record the messages, and she recorded them ALL on the wrong line, so it wasn't just mine! Anyway, my E2 went up to 856 yesterday. So I am still on 450IUs of Gonal-f, so I am having to get MORE, AGAIN! And this stuff is expensive! I had to go back in for the 6th day in a row this morning for BW. I asked the nurse how many days it looked like I had left of taking Gonal-f, she said maybe through the end of next week! That means I will have been taking stims for about 14 days! :!: Did anyone else have to go that long? At this rate, this cycle is going to cost me a fortune, and funds are starting to run low! But I'm keeping the faith that this is going to work out. I know God has his path for me, and I will follow it wherever he leads me!

OK, sorry that ended up as such a long post. I just had to get that out! But I am curious, how many days did you all stim?

jharrris~Thanks! I have to get my second beta on Saturday, and then they schedule my U/S...but should be May 22nd. I was on stims for 10 days, my clinic does anywhere from 8 to 14 days. I know that has to be killer on the wallet, I thought I was going to have to buy more Follistim and freaked out!!! Ok, the patient response hotline would drive me nuts too!!! That is so ridiculous, what do you do if you have questions??!

Chelly – Wow 900  That is great. I am so happy for you. Congratulations!!!!

Courtney – Congratulations!! Great job and good numbers! So happy for you also :D

SDtrying –Good luck on Monday and sending you lots of sticky vibes. My birthday is also May 21st. I hope you get a good present that day :)

Daisy – Congrats on graduating!! That is great. I have one semester left for my masters. It is really hard to concentrate on studying while doing IVF. I just added menopur to my protocol last night. I definitely feel bloated. I have gained 5 pounds since Tuesday!! Good thing I just bought some stretchy shorts.

Sameera. –There is a lady in Maryland that put back 2 embies and ended up with triplets plus one!! I looked up to see if twins was hereditary and found out that fraternal twins can be hereditary on the woman’s side. This is because some women release more than one egg at a time. Identical twins just happens. My sister-in-law keeps freaking me out that I am going to have multiples. She keeps upping the number of kids and is now at me having 8   She is the one who found that news story about the lady in Maryland.

Well, finally got to go back for bw and u/s. They saw two bigger follies on the right. They confused me the way they told me the measurements. They said they were around 16 x 11. What does that mean? Which number do you go by or is it an average of the numbers? Anyway, they also saw some others around 10 X 9. On the left she could only see one bigger one around 8 x 10. She doesn’t think the ones on the left are responding well and we will just eggs off the right. :( Now I just have to wait for the b/w levels. I hope they are good.

Sorry if I missed anyone, but am just so spacy lately and just can’t concentrate.

jharris- I'm so sorry that this experience has been so frustrating! A patient call line like that would drive me nuts. I'm sorry about the money, that sucks, too. Keep hoping that you will have success, hoping is the only thing that keeps us strong.

Don't worry about the statistics, let's say that an average woman doing IVF has a 50-60% success rate. Let's say some doc tell you that based on stimming for longer your success rate is more likely to be 40% (i'm just making this up by the way) Are you really gonna do anything different? No, you'll just keep hoping that you are the 40%, the 50%, the 35%.... or whatever that percentage. One thing is for sure, we'll never have success if we don't try, right (cliche, i know, but very true!)

hang in, we're all here for your support. Keeping hope and faith is sometimes difficult. I'll try to send some mental hope your way.

Thanks Courtney & SD. Like I said, I am feeling more positive today. Just thinking of having to do this longer than typical, costing more money is a little stressful. But I've talked to my DH, and just talking to him usually makes me feel better! And hearing from wonderful ladies like you helps tremendously! Thank you all so much for just being here! That means alot.

And Chelly!! Holy crap!! 900??!! :!: :!: That is the highest number I've heard yet! How many embies did you transfer?! This is such a successful group! I am so glad to be part of it!

Yeah they called early today :) But my numbers are still low!! My E2 was 155 and my LH was 2. The LH went down from 2.7 last time. I asked what my follie numbers were and she told me on the right I have a 14 1/2, 13 1/2 and three around 9.7. So it does look like they average the numbers. On the left she said three less than 9.4. They are keeping me at the same dosage and I don’t go back in until Monday!! Agghh. I hate waiting. This probably means that my ER will be pushed back some. I was set for May 13th – 15th. :(
