Yellow - I'm so proud of you for rolling with the punches. That is some serious PMA and it inspiring. Maybe FET will bee exacty what you need.

Chris - So sorry for you BFN. It is probably good that you have your schedule and can focus on standing back up, shaking it off and moving forward. I am on the May/June from time to time too. Keep us posted.

Jenntiff - Welcome. Sorry for all you struggles. We all understand, though we all have different stories, how shocking it can be to find yourself in this IVF situation. It's like, wait a minute, what happened? This is not how it was supposed to go. One good way to look at it is that once you do succeed the stresses of being preggers and giving birth will feel like a breeze (hopefully anyway!).

Drjen - Have you bought the HPTs yet? If you do cave, I know I will be right there with you. There is no way I will be able to wait. Let us know!!

I'm having a little trouble writing tonight but something pushes me to do so.
I have not posted much on this thread because the past week has been pretty difficult. My original beta of 30 turned into 63 then 101 and then 174 in one week. Not good! AF came yesterday morning and I started the miscarriage process. It's weird because I still have the feeling that it's not over...I guess it takes time to accept and grieve. At times I feel strong and then suddenly I crumble. You just can't crumble in front of others that don't know anything about it and it's hard to hold back the tears.

I wish I could write more but my pc has been acting up big time and I have not decided to buy a new one after all the ivf expenses...my insurance doesn't cover ivf. It takes me more than 1/2 hr to type a little bit because the pc so slow.

Congrats to all that are doing so well, you have been an inspiration...I wish I could steal some of Chelly's beta, she seems to have enough for two !!

Sorry Chris on you BFN, next time will work out!

Good luck to Jharris on your ER..I too had problems with producing enough follies...you did way better than me. I'm so glad it turned out ok for you!

SDtrying. I know you're resting like you should and you know I'm thinking about you.I'm pulling for you and I feel that it will all work out.

Dri-Jim. I think Adrianna is doing just fine, according to the betabase, she's right on target. Enjoy the pregnancy. You're a wonderful husband and I always enjoy reading your posts.

Sameera. I'm sorry you're feeling so sick. It can't be much fun but knowing baby is there makes it all worthwhile.
DrJen. Good luck on Friday for your beta. I hope your whole office is going to jump up for joy when you tell them your BFP..I can hear them from here.

Jes-Jes. How is everything going for you?

I will start a new cycle as soon as possible because I'm not getting any younger...39.5 years young. Funny how when you're young you count every half year that you have and now I'm starting to do the same thing again...except I wish I was not 1/2 year older.

I'm thinking of starting acupuncture for the next cycle and try and put all the chances on my side. And I'll see if I can do more to make my body as healthy as possible. I haven't had tea in more than two months and chocolate has been banished as well. That's so hard when you grow up on chocolates as I'm from Belgium. I'll have to tell my Mom not to send anymore for a while.

The next month will be a time to grieve but more importantly a time to reconstruct my body and my soul and get ready for the next cycle. It has been a tough road so far but I'm going to keep looking ahead and believe that soon it will be my time !

Best of luck to all of you :D I keep reading your posts and get encouraged by all the good stories.

Sticky baby dust....

Valerie- Thanks for fighting with your computer to let us know how you are doing. The uncertainty of your entire situation was just heartbreaking. I'm so glad that you are looking positively on your next cycle and can't wait to root you on. Please remember that you are inspiring all of us to persist and your attitude not only helps you but the group of us.

Hugs

Thanks for making me fee welcome! I found out today that of the 12 fertilized left at ET none of them developed enough to be frozen. Crazy! I thought there would be something. So, before we found out whether or not there were some to be frozen I decided that this was going to be my only shot. This has been to emotional for me and if this doesn't work I 95% positive I am going to throw in the towel. Yet, I am going to try to remain positive! I have a question. Everybody is talking about the beta's and mine is coming up. What should I be looking for? What's good? What's not?

One other thing! Valerie I admire you sooooo much. You took a paragraph to put out how you are feeling, but take a billion more paragraphs to check in on everyone else. Your Amazing! I just want you to know that! Good things are sure to come your way!

Hi JennTiff- when is your beta. My clinic does it 12 days 5 day post-transfer, according to the handouts they gave me if the number is above 100 there is a much lower miscarriage rate. If it is lower, they will follow you more closely and make sure your number is doubling every 2-3 days. So I guess if you are being tested about the same time hope for something above 100, but less than that is still a positive! I lot of women have posted good HCG table websites, you can find them all over just google it- they're all pretty much the same.

Hi Chelly,

Good for you on your beta. I hope you don't get freaked out like me after every blood test. :)

Hi Everyone,
Valerie and Chris, so sorry about your news...you're both in my prayers.

Ruby, sounds like you're doing well, but they have you on a quicker plan than my clinic. My stims started last Friday, the 9th, so I am scheduled for ER around the 22nd. Last time I went about 3 days early, so who knows?? After my 4th day of stimming, I have 12 follies and go back on Friday. If I remember correctly, I had about the same last time, and ended up with 22 eggs overall!

I have decided to hold the ultrasound tech hostage Friday until she predicts my ER date... :P I think I'm down to about a 3 hour window next week outside of work when I'll be available for any type of IVF stuff...!!!!

For all of you who related to the MIL story (I really do love her very much): First, my sympathy; Second, keep your sense of humor. My DH and I have resorted to just making up stories to tell her about our IVF adventure just for our own amusement. I'm pretty sure she's now convinced my shots contain Monkey hormones...evil, I know....

Have a great day and big prayers to all!!

Hey ladies. I will send personals this afternoon. I just wanted to stop in and say thank you to all of you for the well wishes. I had my RE this morning. Everthing went really well. They retrieved 10 eggs, so a couple more than I was expecting! They will be performing ICSI, and we won't know how many fertilized until Friday. :( They will also let me know then if we will be doing a 3 day or a 5 day transfer. But right now, I'm going to take a much needed nap! I will talk to you all this afternoon! Hope you are all doing great!

Valerie and Chris, I am so sorry. Wish things had worked out better. Have a good cry and then jump back on the crazy train. Your in my prayers.

As for me, I don't have much good news either. Just got back from u/s. Well, looks like my lead follies are hogging all the drugs. They are now 28.6 and 29.6. They grew over 6mm each in just a couple of days  The one lagger she could see was only 13.7 only up 2 from Mon. The left follie is now 19.5. I have a feeling that this cycle will be canceled. Will get the call later today. Hopefully early.

turtle-I'm sorry to hear that two of your follies are misbehaving. I hope to hear that the cycle doesn't have to be canceled this afternoon. Let us know later!

Jharris- sounds like they good lots of eggs! Can't wait to hear your report on friday. get some rest!

As for me, I decided that I'm going to POAS everyday from here on out. I know it is ridiculous and my excuse for doing it is even more ridiculous. So we're getting packed up to move, right? And I'm trying to get rid of all the extra junk we have around. So when we first started TTC I ordered a bunch of cheap HPTs online. SO I HAVE TO GET RID OF THEM! I'm only 2dp5dt, but nevertheless the peeing has begun!!!!

I have about 5 cheap ones to get rid off and then I have 4 FREDs to use when I might actually be seeing something (figures crossed).

Oh one more thing, here's the details of my updated frosty report:

5 day blasts
3BB
3BB
4BB

6 day blasts
4BB
4BA
3BC
3BC
3CB

So, overall I'm pretty optimistic that even if my little 7 day old baby in my belly doesn't decided to stay with me this month, perhaps one of his brother or sisters will join us soon!! I told my DH he better start working some extra shifts to start supporting our HUGE family :)
