Sorry I've been an absent thread-friend lately.

There is so much good news, I'm sure I'll miss something.

CONGRATULATIONS ON ALL THE BFPS!!! SD, Twingle, JenTiff, DrJen. Who'd I miss? There are too many to keep track. Wear that baby bump proud!

Jharris, Rubylee, good luck to you. Sticky thoughts. I'll be checking on you guys.

My FET will be July 3 so I'm hopping over to the June/July thread. Chris, I think you've posted there already. Valerie, will you post there, too? We'd love to have you.

I've come across this quote a few times. I love it, so I'll post it here:

PEACE
it does not mean to be in a place where there is no noise, trouble or hard work. it means to be in the midst of those things and still be calm in your heart.

Peace to all of you. :)

2nd IVF: 2/08 BFN
3rd IVF: 5/08, transfer cancelled

SD: Soooo happy for you...can't imagine what your next beta is going to be! Twins maybe !
So many of you POAS and I feel totally left out of the stick experience that I will do it next time, but will have to hide from DH.
Looks like most of you could belong to POAS Anonymous !!

Twingle: It looks like you're well on your way to a healthy pregnancy. I'm sure the US will give great relief. I'll keep sending you good thoughts.

Valerie- I support the pee-ers and the abstainers. There are many fingers pointing to the same moon as the saying goes. If you DO decide next cycle to join the POAS-aholic group, I will help you make some covert plans to sneak them from you DH :)

Again I thank you for your weeks of support, you and other of the ladies in this group really were such a surrogate support system for me. Thank-you.

Yellow: I will join the thread but I might be July/August instead depending on when AF comes around again. I'll be more than happy to join all of you.
I love the quote you wrote, absolutely beautiful !! I will write it here so I can see it often. It's exactly what I've been doing but put into a beautiful quote. Thank you!!!

Valerie, if I had it to do over again, I would NOT POAS. It was too depressing!

SD - you are so funny. I am so happy for your BFP and your numbers look really good for it being so early.

Yellow - Yep, I am already posting on June/July. I hope that group is as lucky as this one. I haven't gotten my official schedule but last week the RE's office said that I would have ER around the first week in July so we might be on the 2ww together.

MommyTwingle - I will be keeping my fingers crossed that your BETA numbers keep rising. Does this stuff ever get easy?

Valerie - Hope to see you in the June/July thread. Sorry things didn't go so well with this cycle. Next cycle will be the one.

Shep - Congrats on the 24 eggies. KUP on your fert report.

JenTiff - Can't wait to hear your BETA results.

So I am just hanging around, checking to see how everyone is doing. I pretty much surf the net all day at work so I am always lurking. I go on vacation on May 23rd so this week I am a definate slacker. I have 22 more hours to work before vacation. YEAH!!!! I know I am a little retarded.

To the bad part, I don't know if any of you remember me posting about my friend trying to get PG and I didn't want her to get PG before me. Well it didn't work last month for her but once again that week is here again. She will find out if she is PG this weekend. It will really suck because I will be on vacation with her at the time. I will be happy for her but kind of sad for me. O'well, I will just have to live with it. At least I won't be on injections and all the hormones so this month I think I will be able to take the news of her PG a little better then I would have been last month while cycling.

Hope everyone has a good week.

Another day full of pages to catch up on!! I actually took my restful day yesterday to read a book, from beginning to end!! I haven't done that in so long! And it was a great book, so I couldn't put it down! Maybe books will make my 2ww go by quicker!! :D Well I go in 5/22 for BW to check my progesterone, so at least I will feel like I'm testing something sooner than my beta on 5/31! I keep telling myself, at least I will know by the end of the month!! :D

Chris: I remember your story from earlier. And like we all said before, it is perfectly okay for you to not be quite as happy about her testing. But try to have fun on your vacation!! You deserve it!

valerie: I don't think I am going to POAS. I thnk it will just make me crazy. Plus, my DH doesn't want me to do it either. Maybe once I get my BFP beta I might come home and do it!! But not before. So there are those of us on both sides. Not all of us are addicts like SD!!

Yellow: I will have to drop in on the June/July thread to check on you and your FET!! Good luck!! And thanks for the quote! I think I might have to make a copy of that to put somewhere, too.

SD: Once again, congrats to you on your beta!! And it's still early! There is no telling what it will be come Friday!! And thanks. Oddly enough, I felt through this whole cycle that I was supposed to transfer 3. I knew my RE said they typically only transfer 2, so I was wondering how I was going to talk them into 3. But they had already decided to transfer all 3 before I got there! So I definitely take that as a positive sign!

JennTiff: Did they say WHY you couldn't get your results for a couple days? That is SO cruel!! Good luck today!! Let us know what you find out!

MommyTwingle: That is awesome news!! I am so glad it is looking good! See, PMA! Works wonders! See, what did that nurse know anyways!!

shep: My beta is 5/31, and I have a feeling it is going to take forever to get here!! Congrats on your 2 dozen eggs! That is wonderful!! Hen house was hilarious!! I bet that gave them a nice laugh!!

cookinggirl: Welcome to the group. Your beta is the day before mine! And you had similar numbers. We retrieved 10, 6 fertilized, and only 3 were good enough for transfer, so they transferred them all. I am already going crazy with this 2ww, and it just started! If you find something that makes your days go by quicker, PLEASE share!! :O)

Chris: Best of luck on your next cycle! I will be praying for you!!

valerie: Good luck with accupuncture. I have heard plenty of positive things about it on these boards. I wanted to, but money was a little tight! I am so glad you are able to stay positive! I will be praying for you, too!!

And for all those I missed, hope you are all doing well. Time to get back to work!

chris- have fun on your vacation! Where are you going so we can all be envious!

twingle- yeaa!!! See, aren't you glad you listened to your insticts and kept doing the meds!! over 200 sounds like a really good number, maybe your embies are just slow starters...praying your see good news at the u/s!

valerie- I personally did not POAS. If I did one, I probably would have had to do them everyday until I got a positive. We are supportive either way, and besides, the ones who POAS (or get covert betas) usually have good stories to tell about how they are hiding them! Good luck!

SD- OMG I died laughing when I saw your signature that said "covert", that is hilarious! Thankfully its going up, we are so excited for you! Are you going to have more betas on the DL or are you going to wait for the real thing?

yellow- good luck with your FET! Sticky baby dust to you!

shep- well, you could have said worse things than 'hen house'....its ok, at least the nurses will always remember you! Good luck with the PIO!

valerie- I have heard several ladies talking about acupuncture...I did not do acupunture myself, but it couldn't hurt. I also read something on another thread discussing pineapple...somebody said it has enzymes that helps with implantation. I don't know if there is any scientific fact to that, but I did eat some pineapple just in case. I can't necessarily correlate that to my BFP, but hey its good for you anyway!

jentiff- that is madness that they are holding your beta results hostage....but then again, wouldn't they have told you to discontinue meds if there absolutely no HCG detected? So, in a way, its a good thing right?? Just trying to think positive for you!

As for me, stil waiting for my u/s. I am officially '7' weeks today!
God Bless!

Ladies:
I've seen a few of you say that your ordered POAS. Where are you ordering them from and are they cheaper than Walgreens??

Also, question regarding baby asparin. How long do you take it? I called my RE, but they havent got back to me. I started taking it when I started Syneral, but there is no end date on me protocol sheet.

Have a great day and this board is very lucky!!!
SDtrying, I also cracked up on your sig..."covert" so funny!

Hi girls!!

SD - Congratulated you one other board but I'll do it again- Congrats!!!

Mommytwingle - so glad you listened to yourself and stayed on the meds. It sounds like that beta is coming along.

Ericka - 2 dozen! Nice work. How are you feeling post ER?

ET went great!! We transfered 3, 2 8 cell grade 3, 1 5 cell grade 2. An 8 and 5 are DH's and the other 8 is donor. Our RE and my mom helped us decide, it was tough. RE had some concern over DH's. Though they are doing amazing now, he was worried because out of 18 3 fert and then 1 emby arrested at day 2. Obviously his swimmers are not very viable. We thought with this option we had a better chance of a BFP and figured, if this fails our next step would be to do donor IUI anyway. And if we get twins or something amazing like that, well, that would just be fantastic! We both feel great about how it went and now I am PUPO!! Though this bed rest is not that fun.

Sorry not to do more personals but I am in the most uncomfortable position typing right now. Check back soon.

sameera wrote:Chelly - Lol I bet you see gross stuff! I don't think I could do your job but I also bet you made crap load of money too!! which is so good for you when you have those TWINS!! LOL

DriJim - Yay you are back! about time - I was wondering if you were back by now!

How was you trip? and hows your DW feeling??

Sameera
Sameera,

The trip went very well. It'll pay for a lot of diapers down the road! Here's the latest. She had her US this morning and she is exactly 6 weeks and 4 days pregnant. We saw the heartbeat! I guess you saw your baby's too. is that right?

The doctor said the baby is very good sized right now and the heart rate is 118 bpm. It should increase in the next few days if I'm not mistaken.

I have to tell you, to see that little heartbeat was the most amazing thing I have ever seen in my life. How did you feel about it?

Dri is doing great. What a woman.

So how are you doing, dear? Give me the latest.

jim- glad you are back on board! I am dying waiting for my u/s...I still have to wait until next Thursday! I know I'm PG but I won't feel better until I see the baby and heartbeat. I am so paranoid...every little twinge or cramp I get worried. I know I'm crazy...my DH just keeps telling me everything will be ok, but I'm the type to have to see it to believe it! Glad to hear your baby is growing good!!

sameera- Oh, you had commented about my job and making lots o'money...well, I would love to tell you I have some million dollar cosmetic dental practice...but I actually work in public health. Don't get me wrong, I get paid a comfy salary, but nothing compared to what I could make in private practice. But its a labor of love and I enjoy helping the community.

God Bless and sticky baby dust!!!
