Dunno about being back in the game just yet - did try to hint to Brian last night about it, but he was very quiet so i didnt want to push it - i think he is finding this BFN harder than the last one, where as im finding it easier than the last one. I dont want to push him just yet - will give him time and then blurt it all out in one big go lol - thats what i usualy do when i want summit - say it in one go without taking a breath heehehe and he just stands there bewildered looking at me thick .... lol. Anyway, how are u doing hun? Hope ur feeling better :) Xxx

Jayne: Thanks for ur kind words hun, it means a lot to know that ur keeping ur eye on us ... im so gad we can all still be friends even tho its a different thread (if u know what i mean) i think some people are still peeved at me about that, but i have decided that its their problem and they can deal with it :) Its just nice to know that some of u understand :) Thanks honey - sending hugs to u and ur brood ;) Xxxx

Miracle I agree with Angel - u should be back from ur 'vacation' now - where are you??? Hope ur ok sweetie xxx

So hows the d/r going then - oooo ur 12 days into it already - wow u clever lady, and a baseline scan so soon (mine was years away LOL) so do u get to start stimms on day of baseline scan??? Ooo this is exciting :) Xxxxx

ICSI Thank u kindly for the huge hugs you sent (you too Angel xx) its really lovely to know that i can come here and get some muldod (Welsh word for sympathy/cwtches - Rachel will know what i mean lol) So, is it getting to be 'That time' of the mth for u then - u be doing ur acrobatics again ha ha ha .... u dont wanna know what visions i have in my head of u and ur DH right now ha ha ha!! Ok - vision over, im on big time and i cant have sex, so thinking about someone else having it just makes me jealous!!!  Have a lovely 'time' would say i'll be thinking about you - but i wont be - not in THAT way anyhow LOLOL ...

Well ladies, think thats about it for me now .... think i might go and get my hair done and my nails - oh sod it, and my eyebrows waxed and tinted - what the hell lets go for it

Hi Jayne, How is you and your bump? Hope you're not working too hard any more.

qhue - so sorry that I totally missed you from my post earlier. Welcome to this thread. So do you start your next round soon? All the ladies here are lovely and we do understand the devastation of a failed cycle.

Word of warning, it can get a bit crazy here especially when ICSI gets going............

just to make things PERFECTLY CLEAR qhue (Image to our group by the way!!!!!!! you WILL love it.....if you can keep up -- well, not really the case as of late -- but there are times!!!)

anyway....where was i?? oh yeah -- making things perfectly clear ---- it is ANGEL that gets things crazy out here!!! (but it's why we love her like we do!!!!!)

hiya ang!! i'm doin a-ok....thanks for checking in on me -- just super-busy at work.........i HATE when that happens!!!

my WELSHBUGGER is baaaaaaacccckkkkkkk!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! oh sweetie -- our little HUG WAR must have helped loads!!!! you sound absolutely amazing! couldn't be happier as i sit here reading your posts..... little tear to my eye to be honest -- in a good way.....no, make that - in a GREAT way..............continues to reinforce how amazingly strong we are ----- TOGETHER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i think you're 100% right in having the time be exactly right as to when to approach brian..........my dh is exactly the same --- if i catch him on a "bad" day ---- he'd surely say "NO"......as the saying goes -- timing is EVERYTHING!!! he's going to be so thrilled w/ you after his lil surprise party --- after the posh hotel!!!!! YOU GO GIRL!!!!!!!!!!!!! it is why you're the queen~!

rachel & ruby........how you girls doin?????? beck is right --- she is just precious!!! good to see you hun...........

jayne --- HI!!!!!!!! missed you............

carolyn ---- can't believe how the time is flying for you for this cycle!!! or maybe it's just me, but i was like "whoa -- she just started d/r!!!" (and you're probably cursing me as we speak!!!) anyway --- WOO-HOO!!!!!!! moving right along...........

so here i am in a bit of a dilemma.......today is CD12 for me and because i didn't get my smiley on my OPK til CD16 last month -- today was the first day i POAS (OPK).......and wouldn't ya know i got my damn smiley?????!!!!!!!!!!! WTF???!!!! i SO did not adequately prepare dh ---- told him he was "cut off" after LAST NIGHT so that he'd have the recommended "no older than 3-5 days" of super swimmers.......thinking it would be atleast 3-4 more days!!!!!!! so this cycle might be already down the toilet on account of piss poor timing.....oh well..... am waiting for call back from doc's office as we speak -- to even see if worth going in for scan....will have to admit to doing the deed last night in prep for CD16 -- NOT CD12  good grief -- just as soon as i think i've "got this down" --- i was wrong!!! no wonder it takes an act of congress to get us pregnant!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Becks - You sound great. I know what you mean about feeling up and down. But if you feel down and need to have a cry then thats what you must do. Its too soon to talk to DH about the next round. My DH said that just because he can't cry and talk about it all the time like I do does not mean it doesn't hurt him. Also they feel bad seeing us going through all the physical pain of the tmt. Give it some time. Besides which did you not say that your big 40 is coming up this year too? Maybe you could wait for a month and ask for another round of tmt as your birthday wish.

ICSI - oh hun, do go for the scan. Isn't the surge meant to be 24 - 36 hours after the smiley face? See what the nurse has to say at least. Even if you don't get the scan you could always try again tomorrow or Sat morning. Hey, you can't lose anything and it will be a great work out

hey angel --- yeah, you're prob right......whats it gonna hurt at this point - right??? i just hate to be all dramatic about it -- making a deal about going into docs office today, having to get out of work, blah, blah, blah..... and yes - you are right in saying is "24-36 hours" AFTER you see smiley -- but for some reason, my doc is of the school of thought that it is most effective for SAME DAY action.............however -- one of my bff's (in real life) did IUI.......went in for her scan, doc said everything looked great, did bw and was to do her trigger that night --- and come in next day for her insem.......but bw results came back indicating she already got her surge (smiley) naturally - and docs office advised her to NOT do trigger and just come in next day for her insem...........and she's now bfp........ so it makes me wonder if my doc might be a little off on his timing...... aw hell--- who am i kidding???? i shouldn't be "blaming" my doc --- not like he had control over the TIMING of my silly cycle!!!!! we'll see....... still waiting for call back.........

Well, Angie have you had the call back from your doctors yet? You shouldn't worry about making a big deal, cause it is. It could help you decide whether you should wait till tomorrow to give DH swimmers a chance to recover or Sat, right?

We are having a laugh riot at work. I think someone has drugged our drinks, cause its never like this. Its almost like we've officially gone loony. Hope that none of the senior guys decide to walk in while we are in the middle of laughing about god knows what    And for the first time I've been called naughty   Wonder why :?

angel -- i find it incredibly difficult to believe that this is the FIRST TIME anybody has called you naughty!!!!    maybe just cuz i know you in a different way!! ha, ha!

i did get call back from docs office --- they're saying "LETS FORGE AHEAD - WHAT HAVE WE GOT TO LOSE????" saying probably not that big of deal about dh's swimmers --- to hold off tonight and just give a good go tomorrow and saturday ------ so i'm back to some BCABB action!! :P go-me, go-me, go-me!!!!!!!! ha, ha, ha!! i just already feel behind the 8-ball -- ya know?? i'm all about "planning" and getting my smiley this morning has really thrown a curve ball at me!!!!! like getting caught w/ my knickers down -- ya know??? either way, i'm going up to docs office in awhile for a quickie scan to make sure all is a-ok and then we have the all clear to DO IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! they did also say "ya know - is possible the timing was perfect on the LAST cycle......so this could be a good thing" -- i'm all "whatever --- is such a crapshoot!!!"

Thats cause I'm quite restrained (I know you're shocked) until someone gets to know me better. When you work with such a diverse group of people, ya never know what can offend someone. Once I reach a certain comfort level, I show my true colours................goes to show that I consider you my BFF :D

I get you on the planning thing - I'm a planner too and I get upset when I don't get a chance to organise myself. DH is the complete opposite and I can't understand that.

Can I just say for the record that your doctor has told you the same thing that I already told you? Maybe you need to listen to me more in future (I sound like your Mum   )

Anyway, sounds good and all go. Well, make sure you plan the BCABB and get some fun along the way. Go shopping girl, and light some candles and put on some bcabb mooosic. Oh, and make sure you include asparagus in the meal before you do it, plus some chocolate.

Let us know how the scan went.

2 things angel...............ok -- first --- what the hell does asparagus have to do w/ BCABB????!!!!!!!   cuz all i can think of is a case of bad gas ---- which does NOT equate to BCABB!!!

ok and second ---- (maybe this should have been first) ----- YES, YOU WERE 100% CORRECT in your advice being exactly what the doc said --- maybe i need to start calling you DOC ANGEL!! i'll let everyone know the good news --- that we now have a certifiably ACCURATE doc on board!! (get it -- on "board" --- as in MESSAGE BOARD -- ha, ha, ha --- there i go cracking myself up again!!!)

Image Do I seriously have to teach you everything???? Image ****sigh*******. Ok, asparagus and chocolate are supposed to have aphrodisiac properties. So it helps you both get in the mood.............therefore some wild bcabb...........get it now?
