Ok, Angie time for your geography lesson (look who's talking... )

Becky, not too sure where in Ireland you are, so you can point that out to our American friend.

Hafternooooon ladies :D :D

What did Brian think of it all??????? Hmmmm - thats a hard question! He gets so tied up in things sometimes that i never know what he is thinking - he goes all quiet on me and i fish then for whats wrong with him, he of course always tells me its cos he's tired or concerned about work ... as men always do! So when we came to the talk about embryos and freezing, he just basically gave up and said ..... whatever u want to do is fine with me! I told him i didnt want to do it like this, that i wanted us to both agree - to which he said ... the last 2 goes we had u stood by my decision - so this time im standing by yours, so then i said i wanted to fert all eggs and leave all embryos out so we can have a choice of quality an not be limited, and he said - if thats what u want - lets go for it ... i checked over and over again with him and he is fine with this decision. I do totally appreciate what he is doing for me, as i know his views on leaving 2nd grade embies in a dish to persih - so i know its taken a lot for him to agree ... but that also worked both ways when we had our first go - he only wanted 2 eggs ferts, i went along with it an we lost 10 eggs! So ... after we went back to work yesterday, once we both got home, he was back to his normal self an pinching my boobs and flicking my arse as he walks past me - ha ha ha! So i KNOW he back to his normal self an is quite happy with that decision ... an as for the flicking my arse - he does it ALL the time and it bloody hurts - he usualy gets slapped after doing it, and we usualy get into a play fight, an the kids are like - tut! Here we go ha ha ha!! He does make me laff an knows how to cheer me up - i do love that man so dam much :D
Ive also seen the holiday too - good film, altho Brian was nearly hanging himself by the end of it haha! I wud really love to meet all u guys - we would im sure have such a laff - i can see us sitting there in our wee cottage in (lets say Ireland cos i hate to fly LOL) sipping some red wine (the men have our babies at home - sorted!!) listening to some nice music and chatting away - then as the wine goes down, the chats get more raunchy and ICSI decides to tell us a few stories which have us all in fits laffing ... the music is turned up - the voice levels are turned way up, we're dancing, laffing and basically having a ball ......... oh when u comming over ladies, there are LOTS of cottages here in Ireland :D i know u live on a lake (WOW!!!!) but Ireland is so beautiful, and i wudnt have to fly lmao!!! As for ur geography .... hope this helps - Angel lives in England/London (somewhere lol) and i USED to live in Wales (Near Cardiff) - but got on the boat and sailed to Northern Ireland (near Belfast) :)

Image

As for prices, yes we do have to pay ... our clinic for ivf alone is £3,000 and then the drugs range from £1,000 - £2,000 - so all in all a typical tmt cost alone wud be around £5,000 - thats without all blood test an consultations etc ... we paid £165 yesterday and in 2 weeks when i go back for AMH test - its another £85 - so all in all a good whack out of the savings ... still undecided on putting 3 embryos back - have to think about if all 3 take, yes it wud be lovely having 3 - but so many complications with having 3 - low weight etc ... a lady at my SIL's church had triplets a few wks back - 2 girls and a boy - but sadly after a wk an half of fighting the wee boy passed away, he was just too small - so its scarey thought, summit that we will need to think about an not do on a whim. (Phew this is another LONGGGGGGGG post lol)

Don't know about you, but I would make an awful teacher.......just so bad when it comes to explaining things.

Oh, and Becky - you didn't answer my question about me putting on weight in the first week...... :( Why does that happen?

Angie - I don't live in central London; I live in the suburbs. But still technically London. If you're wondering about my profile, I have Middlesex as that was the county we fell in (no longer applicable), but for some reason our postal addresses still have it.

Becky - AF is not due for another 10 days. I know what you mean tho as I do get bloated a few days before AF. I was bad on Sunday but it wasn't that bad - honestly. Do noodles count as free food on green days? And would you know how many syns a wrap would be? I made one for my lunch using only free fillings.

Noodles??? As in Batchelors packet flavored noodles .... no they not free hun :( the 97% fat free ones ARE free however ... u can buy those in little tubs that u add water to, personally i dont really like em as there no flavor in the fat free ones lol ... funny that!! Wrap's - u can use one of those as a syn i think - i dont have my book with me at work hun so i cant check ... it wud i think be classed as bread, so a syn or even a healthy extra :?: :?: will check for u when i get home, unless u have the Kcals and carb info an i can check online for u ....

They hated the idea .... Natasha was younger (14) an Gemma was 16 - so they both had to make new friends and new schools etc, an hand on heart, they hated it - but i knew that in the long run it was better here for them. The kids they were hanging around with at home in Wales were not the right crowd (if u get my drift) an i know its not to say they wudnt get in the wrong crowd here - but we felt we had to get them away from them! Also, Brian has a good job which pays good money an we wud hav been silly to let him give it up and sell his home to be with us - so we came here. The kids took about 3mths to settle in, Gemma met her b/f about a yr after we moved and is still with him, so there wud be no way she wud go back - and Natasha has some very good friends here - an also lots of boyfriends (lol) she is very popular young lady - which has Brian an i turning grey lol .... theres always one isnt there hee hee

No I meant just dry plain noodles, the type you boil in water to have with stir fry. Can't stand the pot noodles.
