loopie - type in octmommies2b as a username and password is eddoct and you can post your pics there! No need to set up another account, we were all sharing this one. I had a lady say "I thought you were getting fat then I remembered you are pregnant!" I can't believe it especially since my belly sticks forward!

First, loopie: I started laughing out loud when I read your post. I hate when people say that to you...even if it is a family member when you are not pregnant. I esp. hated it when you were first preggers and just was fat and bloated all over and did not look pregnant yet...ugh! Stupid neighbors. Was that what we call a hormonal mood swing with your words back? lol. I would have done the same thing!

I am not doing birthing classes they told me not to since I will be doing a csection...I actually was allowed to go for natural but they said that most twins dont both come out and end up getting one for baby B anyways...so I suppose I will just have to deal with the pain of a csec.

Mellie: Congrats on the little girl! My friend had a calcium deposit on her sons heart and was told it could be down syndrome..(scared the crap out of her!) but he turned out fine!! Healthy as anything. If the doc said dont worry about it, dont worry about it! They are usually pretty straight forward.

Corny: GOOD LUCK GOOD LUCK! Let us know how it goes! Hope everything went/goes fine!

Ladies, I woke up this morning and my left nipple was itching like crazy!!! They are sore so I can not really scratch them but I took a shower and just let the hard water hit it...my husband was just laughing away. Holy cow though! Anyone else getting this?

I would like to know about the milk thing as well. If I pumped now would I get a little something? lol. I think I have heard it is the hormones after the baby is born but I dunno.

Suga its a little yellowie watery fluid that comes out of the middle of you nipple .I want to know about the milk to i had so much trouble with ds with him starving and my nipples about to fall off all cracked and bleeding i just thought to myself how much easier would it be to start pumping to get the milk flowing for when she is here i know its not a practical thought but something i would consider seeing the trouble and upset it caused me and ds i don't want Katie to have the beginning of her life in distress because shes not getting enough and wishing she h d stayed put inside you don't realize yet (and hopefully you don't) how awful it feels to not be able to do something thats meant to be natural and so easy for so many i guess thats why i'm getting paranoid about it.

Loopie no my ceasar was an emergancy my waters broke 2am monday and had to come straight in because my waters were brown not clear or what ever it should be which meant the baby was in distress straight up. i was checked when i got in and hadn't dialated at all one the marconium was confirmed i was induced to move things along because the baby was in distress they gave me enough of a dose to give me strong contractions and hell loads of pain (all in my back) the midwife checked me later that day about 2pm and found she could even find my cervix something about it not being in the right position or turned or something i don't really know, the doctor finally came about one and a half hours or so later the doctor cameand found i had only dialted one centimetre ds heart rate had already began rapidly dropping and i was sent of for a emergancey ceasar to have him at 4pm that arvo. one hint i will give you if you have a ceasar make sure your relaxed when they give you te spinal tap my toes were clenched from the pain and i remember i kept asking the nurses to straighten my toes out after it had numbed me although they were no longer clenched its just a mind thing that happens when paraglized when my dh first broke his back he felt like he was standing upright for a long time the feeling did pass for him but takes it takes awhile. anyway i don't know if i have to have one or not my ivf doc says yes i have no choice but to have a ceasar but my hospital says i can depending on my previous notes as to what happen with ds the midwife was over heard saying i would never birth naturally so thats why we need to get the notes before we make a decision as to what will happen this time .
What a rude neighbour glad you put him in his place

i'm not doing birthing classes but will be doing the breastfeeding classes i have lots of questions this time knowing the trouble i had last time

Best go ds tells me he's tired so i need to get him off to bed

hope your all well especially corny and her girls

Huge, huh? In fact today on my way to my prenatal yoga class I saw my old personal trainer and she was like "wow, you must be about to deliver?" So, I smiled and told her "NOPE" then I continuted to explain the VTS and how I was carrying bigger and may even deliver early because of it. The carrying thing is so made up, but I use it every chance I get. But I may truely deliver earlier than normal.

Corny- I hope all is going well. I am keeping you in my prayers.

I went to the OB today and all is well. I actually lost 3 pounds! Yeah!!! I asked the doc about pedi's and he said it was okay. I'm still good to travel and will go see my sister in Dallas this weekend. He encouraged me to swim and was glad I was doing prenatal yoga. And then I told him about the tightness I get across my entire lower abdomen when Dh's ex calls and harrasses us. He told me that if it lasts for more than 1 hour or if I have discharge or bleeding with it, I should go to the hospital. He said it sounds like pre term labor. Plus, the doc was glad we discussed it because he thinks it would be good to give her name to security at the hospital

okay, where's all the belly shots? I was bold enough to post and I'm sure I've got you all beat. But, I'd still like to see how all of you are growning :D

Corny- any news? Hope all is well!

I will get my belly shot up this weekend! Promise!

weezie - we are doing the same thing and leaving the evil ex's name at the hospital maternity, the bad part is that she is actually a nurse there  in no way is she touching our baby! And the only other hospital is far, this one is 5 min away and great... all I can say is don't let her stress you! Do whatever you have to do...

Hi girls!
Corny, I hope you and the girls are recovering and that everything went well- we are all thinking about you and hoping for a great outcome

ok, still can't believe that belly, weezie!!it's awesome :D :D :D :D :D
I also can't believe what a bee-otch that ex is- what is wrong with her?? are Dh's parents able to talk to her?? or perhaps her parents?? this is absurd and dangerous for you and the bean- I just don't get why people thrive on being evil- and you, too- Rio- the fact that you gals even have to think about these icky-exes being banned from the hospital (oy and that the 1 is a nurse!!!) is wack
Dh and I are pretty lucky on that front, I mean, there are some messes here and there, but I don't really care about them- we own our warehouse with 4 others, and at our recent meeting, Dh and I decided to tell them our news, 2 already knew and are good friends, and the other 2 - 1 was very surprised- then congratulated us - and the other said nothing- i mean nothing!!! no- hey, that's cool- well, he's just a bitter, lonely, depressed 50 year old loser with no friends- and I guess I should feel sorry for him.
on to good stuff!!!!
been feeling jr bean kick and flip pretty intensely since yesterday!!! :o
:D :D I think i've been feeling him for a while, but i didn't really know it- had my monthly yesterday- everything looks good- listened to his strong heartbeat, and he sounded like a steam locomotive coming around the bend!! I kind of knew he was ours when i heard that as my family has deep connections with railroading and it's all i could think about when i heard him
ok- all for now- busy day

Loopie - cute steam locomotive! I am glad your doctor visit went well. I can't believe that guy said nothing! What a jerk! He probably is jealous of your DH or your happiness. Some people are just like that. It is a drag to deal with the evil ex and skid but I see it as a price to pay for having such a wonderful DH, he really is perfect otherwise! So our drama is never between us. Now evil ex told her daughter this is the last father's day with your dad, trying to tell her that once we have kids she is chopped liver - geesh - mom of the year!!! How far along are you now? --> this was my hint at getting a ticker
gecko - enjoying the great weather?

Any cute ideas for DH's on Father's day?

I rented a series of DVDs called Laugh and learn and they have DVDs on breastfeeding and labor that are supposed to be good.
Anyone get their registering all done?

Hey Rio - the weather is perfect! Are you doing well with all the fires? My DH got sent yesterday to the Martin Fine near Bonny Doon. Hope you are well and that the air isn't terrible. On another note, yes, we got all registered several weeks ago at Babies R Us. It was cool. My mom already bought us our crib and it was delivered yesterday. Next week the baby's room is being painted and then I can start nesting.

weezie and rio - Sorry about the evil ex situation. It just sucks that you have to go through that.

weezie - Great belly shot!!!! You sure do look pregnant. I just look fat.....I hope that time will make my belly more pronounced.

Corny - Hope all is well. Please post when you can. You and your girls are in my thoughts.

I am doing well. I started back to the gym this week. It feels really good. I know I have gained too much weight this month and have ten days until my next appointment. It is amazing how quickly the pounds are adding up. Ultimately, I don't care. I can take it off later. I just don't want to hear my doctor nag.

Have a great day everyone!

Hi gecko - so far the air here is ok. Gorgeous weather! Is there a way to share the registry at Babies rus? I am just really clueless as to some things we need, I have a list but it would be fun to see what you girls are putting in the registry...

Hey ladies!! We finally registed last weekend. I am glad its over DH was very nice and did get frustrated being there for a few hours. I was surprised. I take my glucluse test on 7/2 thats my next appt. Other then that not much going on with Bean. He kicks the crap out of me everyday. Its nice to have that reassurance now that the US are few and far between. RIO what pattern did u pick for stroller and packin play and all that. We went with graco Deco. Its going to be cute. I didnt end up liking any of the bedding at Babys r us I dont want a theme or character. So im going to try out a while and green strip dot pattern at Target. Im going to order and see if I like it when it comes in. I still have not bought ANYTHING I need to start thinking about that.
