Rublylee - How exciting to be having twins and that you saw the heartbeats - that is great!!!

children - congrats to you too on seeing the heartbeat!

My nausea has been really bad the past couple of days too. I still have not gotten sick (knock on wood), but feel crappy most of the day. Today I had an appointment with a nurse practitioner at RE's office who talks to the ob patients about dos and don'ts. It was really helpful, and she gave me some tips to make the nausea better. She also told me what foods to eat/avoid, exercise, etc. The only really scary part was that she told me that when I am released to my regular ob/gyn, they will ask me about certain genetic screening tests. She told me about them now so we had time to consider them and decide what to do. It's scary because they test for down syndrome and trisomy 18 - so basically you have to decide if you want to know or not, and if so do you want to take the risk of miscarriage or infection that can come with the tests. Then she said some people want to know so they can still terminate the pregnancy if the tests are positive. My head was spinning!! But I am glad she warned me and that DH and I will have plenty of time to think about it. I am still getting used to being pregnant, so anything beyond that is too much right now!

I go back Friday for my next u/s. Hope everyone else is doing great!!

Thanks ladies for the warm welcome and reassurance on my beta's! This is going to be a fun group I can tell :D

I don't have an ultrasound date - well I have an ultrasound 6/25 but that is to check my OHSS / fluid etc. I think then I find out my 1st real usound date to check for heartbeat etc. can't come fast enough!!

OHSS is bizarre - I was/am so full of fluid I look 4 mos along easily...try hiding that at work when it will go back down to normal and then big again....the nosey office hens will be so confused

I love reading all of the good news!

IrishHope, congrats on those betas!! I hope your OHSS subsides soon...that sounds painful.

DNT, you are definitely in my prayers as you go for your u/s. Let us know how it goes.

Children, thanks for keeping our list updated!

Gennessa, congrats on the twins! There seems to be a lot of double heartbeats on this thread:)

To everyone else, I hope you are all feeling well and not too tired. My energy seems to be depleting, but I'm not complaining!

Good morning everyone  . I hope you are all well. Today is not the best moring for me as I am exhausted as Leigh said its just getting worst. It is really hot here and for some reason I am just cant not get a rest night of sleep. Anyone else not sleeping?? On top of that I still have a stomach ach which the Dr. seems think is beacuse I am not drinking enough but I promise I am drinking so much I think I might swim away.

I hope I can stay awake at work, I have not told my boss as its still to early and well I dont like him very much so I do not want him to share in my joy. Does that sound rude?

Thanks for listining to me vent. I feel like you guys are the only ones that understand.
