my DH has teratozoospermia( oddly shaped heads) and low motility 4% as it turned out.
Your dh's #s are no reason to fret- we did ICSI- whereby they take a single sperm (best they can find

) and inject it into the egg - this gives the greatest chance of a successful conception where sperm count/morphology is concerned
I also had been doing acupuncture for the year prior for pain relief from back surgery, and continued as she has a special interest in fertility assistance. I feel that this was beneficial to our success and helped me feel strong and keep up the PMA during the stress of treatment. there are other women who have done TCM ( Traditional Chinese Med) and there is a thread in IVF just for that if you are interested in more than just a/p.
while I was scared shitless at the road ahead- I honestly felt so strongly that it would work for us, I never truly considered that it wouldn't, scared or not. That being said, I knew that things looked very good on my end - no problems with ovulation, tubes, uterus, cervix, etc- so as infertility goes, a problem with Dh's little troopers was the best case scenario in our situation even with clinic success rates at about 32% ( and lower for us older girls)
I admire all the women on this site who have the strength and courage to continue to strive for their dreams and stay positive when given such tough odds.
I hope you can be optimistic about your cycle- Dh, this site, acupuncture, and a bevy of friends able to listen to me is what got us through
many wishes for success to you
