Geez- not only do we fall asleep at work but at concerts too! When will the exhaustion end? Ha Ha. Fortunately, I was told it only last the 1st trimester so we only have a few more weeks to go!!
Gennessa- I spoke to my nurse today and she told me that the cramps are completely normal. The cramps are caused by our uteris growing and stretching. She also said that it is common for them to last alll day long but we usually dont notice them in the day because we are busy moving around. But at night when we are trying to sleep they can keep us awake. So I wouldnt worry about it. My nurse suggested taking tylenol or making a cup of tea because it will relax the muscles. So give that a shot.
As for going on a boat...I would. I dont see anything wrong with it! Enjoy.
Thank Cooking for the notes makes me feel better. Today is not a good one though I just plan feel like poo. I am sure it has to do with my boss and work being a bit stressfull today.
Unexplained sorry to here you missed the concert but hey you got the rest you needed. HAHA I guess being pregant is simlar to being a grandpa.... My grandpa would fall alseep at every play we went to and I asked him one time why he would go and pay and he said well needs a good rest everyone and then. And my grandma would not interput him at the play beacuse she was busy watching it.
My boss caught me sleeping at my desk yesterday. Today (just now) she asked me: "aren't you pregnant?"
I must have had a pretty stupid face and started BS'ing "i dont know"
How stupid is that? How can you NOT know?
I am angry at myself now that I lied and that I made up such a stupid answer. I will probably have to tell her next week and I am not super happy about it.
Unexplained - Hee Hee, I know it shouldn't be funny but the visual of you snoozing on your desk and getting caught twice makes me smile. Sounds like an Office episode.
Gennessa - Is it a motor boat? I am sure it would be fine as long as you weren't drifting. If it is a sail boat, well, doesn't sound fun to me. Just the thought of it makes me more queasy.
I am glad to read all the posting about cramps. I had them last night after working way too much yesterday and it scared the crap out of me. I was looking through all my books trying to decide if I was miscarrying (so morbid). Some woman have cramps all the way through. As long as they are not excruciating and last more than 24 hours, or there is no heavy bleeding, they say not to worry. I have a feeling this constant worrying about my babes is just going to continue the rest of my life
Have a great weekend!

Welcome, Neffi! I am 5 weeks as well, and I have had very few symptoms. I had slight cramping in the very beginning, around the time of my 1st beta. Since then, there have been a couple of days when I have been tired, but today I actually feel pretty energetic. I am thankful for not feeling sick, but, of course, nervous that I'm not having very many symptoms! How about you?[/b]
Leigh31-- I am a little nervous as well, but I always try to tell myself that if someone else told me they were under 5 weeks with no symptoms I would say that is normal, so I am giving myslef advice! When was your transfer???

Neffi - I was just tired off and on until last weekend (week 6) and then started getting MS. I had cramping at first, then nothing, and now they are back, which has been unsettling for me. I don't think anything that happens where symptoms are concerned will ease our minds! Not until we hold our little bundles in our arms. (Then starts a whole other type of worry . But bring it on!!)
