Oh, Sugabeanz, I am soooo sorry you are feeling so crappy. Try to have faith that everything will be ok. It sucks what you are having to go through. If you are feeling uneasy, trust your gut feelings and call your doctor and demand an early appointment - tomorrow if possible. If all is well, you will be able to relax and if there is a problem they can work on fixing it right away. That is what they are there for and we are all here to support you in any way we can. Please keep us posted.

loopie - Can't wait to see some pics with your new camera!

Rio - Your puppy is sooooo cute! I posted a few of my new pooch as well. DH is in Calaveras county currently working on a fire. His is exhausted and I have only seen him once in the last two weeks. I don't know when he is coming home next as Cal Fire has suspended all days off for the time being. I wish they would get a break. At least the weather has turned cooler. That should help.

I got the results of my glucose test and I passed with flying colors. My fasting level was 71 and all the numbers at one, two and three hours were WELL below what they needed to be. I am so relieved. I saw the midwife today for my regular checkup and all is good. My cervix is behaving and staying long and closed and I got the go ahead to continue working out at the gym. I am still supposed to take it easy but they did say exercise in moderation won't hurt. I am glad because I notice if I exercise, I don't get any aches and pains. I did gain six pounds since the last check a month ago, but they didn't mention it so I guess it is ok. So far I have gained 20 pounds - YIKES! I am always sooo hungry so I am not really surprised. Oh well, I will lose it later.

Hope all the mommas out there are having a good start to the week.

Well I called the doctor this morning. Last night I was having really bad period like (kinda worse) cramps. So I talked to the nurse and she said to go to triage to get looked at. I JUST WANT MY REGULAR DOCTOR TO LOOK AT ME!!! So, here we go again! I just have to wait for the husband to get home to take me (which will be any minute). I am hoping that they do not think I am crazy! No more contractions, from what I can tell, but the pain is there and now I am just nauseated and tired and dizzy. UGH! So, hopefully they will just keep me there for a day to monitor me so they can figure something out because these are not just round ligament pains. I can feel the baby right on my cervix. Sheesh! 25 weeks is too early for these girls! So hopefully I get a good doctor this time and they actually care enough to look at my chart real carefully and say...hmmm 3 times to triage in 4 days....I will keep you all updated! Thanks for the warm thoughts and prayers!

Suga - I am praying that they figure out things and that everything is fine and that the girls will stay nice and put for a long time! Sorry you have to deal with that.
Gecko - love the pup pics, Ozzie is just adorable! What a cutie pie! I am so sorry to hear DH has been gone so long, poor guy must be exhausted. Glad he is staying safe. Congrats on your glucose test! I get mine next week - yickes!
Loopie- wow - what a handsome HUGE boy you have there! That picture shows so much personality - I love it! Congrats on the camera, how fun! Post some sculpture pics, I would love to see your work!

Any girls having Braxton Hicks? How often and what do they feel like? I felt my stomach tighten a lot for a few seconds and then relax, no pain just a real tight feeling in my lower belly. I was getting quite a few so I started monitoring to make sure it wasn't 4 in an hour.

whew- is everyone ok?

Sug- you are doing great-I know it feels so scary right now, but just keep up the pma, and STAY IN BED!!! do the docs want to put you in hosp? maybe keeping a closer look on you will help prolong delivery. You and the girls can do it!

Gecko- glad the glucose came bak okey dokey and yer pup is the sweetest thing! like a little cotton ball with loving eyes! And good on you for the exercise-not me!!!
hope Dh is safe- you must be so very proud of him- I really do admire those who serve their communities in such an honorable and selfless way.

Don't know if you've seen "Ladder 49", but it was filmed here in Baltimore, and we gave them a boatload of stuff to use on their sets and to set on fire as we'd just bought our building at that time and it was full, so they helped us clear some of it out!

Rio- your new family member is simply adorable! oh I just love that face!!! I am sure I could not have resisted either! hope pup is settling in to his new family and not keeping you up - I have had no response from Mia- no posts for more than 6 wks now - this is not good- I just hope that she is ok- whatever is going on.

Alright! checking in on our missing mommas...I hope you are all great and just super busy getting ready for the beans!!

Sassy? Krista? Kildean? KellyM? Cinci? Hopinfor? Katie?

Jomae- how's it going down under? it's winter there, right? what's the temp?
speaking of temp- baltimore has been beautiful the past couple of weeks- I've not even used the a/c.

weezie- belly any bigger? you are such a sweetie- I love that pic!!! keep looking at it and wondering if my belly will ever look that cute! I am holding steady as far as I can tell - with what could still be a beer baby instead of a real one!

a friend gave me some maternity clothes yesterday, and a huge tub of baby clothes- I am pretty sure our kid could ruin 1 outfit a day, and still have enough for the 1st 9 mos already! ( I admit, some of it I've bought, but my Mom-in law got about 10 outfits for the bean when I was just 2mos prego)

I'm off to my folks place tomorrow and perhaps shop with mom:D :D :D - get out of the way of floor progress - hope it is laid by sunday when i get back- that would be a miracle!!

off to walk the 130lb baby-

best to all

BUMPIN' 08 ( i really do need to make T-Shirts)

Loopie- send some nice weather my way! It is cold and wet here :( 130lbs! Wow that's a big baby!!! Our puppy thinks he is the Tasmanian Devil! He is a little biter and chewer. Very cute though! Very cool about your stuff in the ladder 49 movie!

Anybody overwhelmed yet? I had an episode yesterday where I just started panicking a little on whether I will be a good mom, good dog-mommy, good housekeeper, good engineer all at once. I just don't feel I can get everything done........

Hope all is well

Corny/Suga how are the bedrest girls doing?

Hi Girls
sorry i've been slack

Thanks Loopie and Rio for asking after me it's nice to feel missed. the were just starting to get cool weather just enough to put on a jumper and jeans low 20's degrees that is luckily where i live we don't have snow but it's definatley snowing some where in Aus at the moment.

Suga hoping you and your girls are doing ok and staying firmly put how long is the bed rest for is it until the birth or just seeing how you go

Corny glad all is well with you and your girls we couldn't have asked for a better result

Sorry to hear about all these sick doggies mine to has been at the vet twice in the two weeks and has to go to be rechecked on monday my firt baby is now an almost 12 year old chihuahua who came up with a huge lump on his face that burst i came home to find him all bloody. the vet thought it was an absyss from a rotten toothe but it turns out to be more sinister and wants to put him under to explore on monday if not cleared up he also tells me he has heart and possible kidney failure so depending on what happens on monday will determine his fate poor old chop he's been such a great dog

as for me i had my 2nd scan to check katies Heart and face that the sonographer couldn't get a good shot of the first time and all looks good and yep had to check she still has the indoor plumbing so definately a girl i have my hospital appointment with the doc on tuesday to discuss ceasar or vbac still don't know how i feel about either yet it would be nice to avoid that part if possible and just wake up and i'm done. I'veput on approx one and a half to two kilos so far although my dh not so dear with this comment tells me i'm getting too fat. Our house will be finished in the next two months so we'll be moving shortly dh wants us to move into the shed we have had built until then i'm not looking forward to hosing off in the back yard in the middle of winter to shower mmmm another sore spot

rio i think it was you who asked yep the worry never ends and it's definately normal to question yourself i still do it daily all you want is the best and to do your best and you know what sometimes it wont be good enough but if your doing the best you know how and as long as you have the right intentions then it's ok and things will work out just fine so don't worry yourself to much it doesn't help unfortunately

Gecko glad your glucose test came back good what an awful drink the lemonade flavour isn't to bad but i would hate to get an orange i could see myself barfing all over the joint

Sorry have to run phones ringing

Hope everyone is well
take care JOMAEXXX

In honor of turning 23 weeks today I put a belly pic on photobucket. Wish I had a cute puppy to photograph!

Suga - I hope you're doing better. Update us when you can.

Rio and Gecko - Your dogs are adorable! Makes me want one. Rio, I haven't had the panic yet about being a good mother. I'm too busy panicking about getting the nursery ready, choosing a name, deciding on diaper options, etc...I plan to panic about motherhood sometime in the third trimester. :)

Loopie - I'd love to see some of your artwork, too, if you have a chance to put some photos on photobucket.

Jomae - Hope your fur baby is ok. Sounds like you're getting some nice weather. Seems to make a difference. When it gets hot here I feel so much more tired lately.

Corny - Your blog was fabulous. You and your husband make an adorable couple btw. I enjoyed hearing about your story and I'm so happy that things are going well.

Things are good with us. I'm anxious to get the nursery ready. We're trying to find a name. So far, we like Evelyn Jane and we like Anneliese Jane. I'm obsessing over cribs. I've looked at 100's online. I'm addicted to consumer reports, too. I'm enjoying it, though.

I have a business trip to LA next week and then I'm planning to stay put. I just don't want to travel once the third trimester starts. My work seems to understand. That's good.

Glad to hear everyone's doing well. Where are the rest of those belly pics? If I have to do it you guys have to do it! :)

Mellie - glad you are keeping yourself too busy tohave a meltdown ;) the crib thing is driving me crazy too! We don't have any stores here so I have to get them online. The only Babies R us did not have many displays. I also have the glider dilemma and the bottles dilemma :) trying to find something BPA free (I will bfeed but want backup). Cute names! You are brave traveling! I just saw your bump - what a cute little bump! Wow I wish mine was that little! I feel huge, I have to post this weekend!!! Very cute!
Jomae- living in the shed does not sound like fun! And your DH can't possibly make those comments after just 2kgs! That's nothing!!!! I am so sorry to hear about your Chihuahua, poor baby! It is so hard to see our precious babies getting older  they bring us so much joy and love. I hope he recovers well!

Tammy- how have you been?
Suga/Corny - give us an update when you can!

Hi everyone....just wanted to stop in and say hello. Looks like everyone for the most part is doing well....minus a few bedrests, discovery channel surgeries, and poor little sick doggies. I'm really glad everything is going well after your surgery
Corny...a friend of mine's niece had the same problem and also had preterm labor. She delivered last week at 23 weeks 5 days. The "host" baby weighed 1lb 8oz and the other only weighed 14oz. Sadly, the smaller one didn't make it past 5 days but the larger one is doing very well. He is off the ventilator and really doing well. By the way...the blog is really cool.

I went to the doc today and all is well. Exciting news  We scheduled my repeat c-section for Oct 8th at 7:30 am EST. I am a planner and this is great....not to mention it's my mother's birthday. I consider this my "no later than date". Aubrey may decide that isn't a good day for her. :D I think on the downside though I gained about 5 lbs last month. I am at about 20lbs for the duration. I gained about 10 of that in the first month or two and went for a couple months with no weight gain. This 5lb stuff has to stop...lol. I guess I better get my butt off the couch and on the treadmill walking. She has really picked up on the movement stuff this week. She is kicking up a storm right now. DH felt her move for the first time last week and after that she has been doing it for him all the time. This is his first baby and he is just amazed by her. It's been so long for me that I too feel so blessed I get to relive it all over again. Not to mention the maturity and circumstances are so different this time. I was a 17/18 year old kid the last time. At twice the age, I treasure every moment.

We got them at Pat Catan's (like Michaels) and got stain in the same aisle and sprayed them. Very easy.
