Genn- WOW with the boobs!! I hope mine get like that  Mine are swollen, some days more than others. Like today they are not swollen at all, nor do they hurt (hope tahts not a bad sign!!!). Other days they are swollen enough that I have dunlop over the cup.
I would think that the belly sono is not until after 12 weeks? Maybe 9weeks? I would imagine that you would still have the vaginal u/s today.
As long as they give you a sheet, its dark and you can tell your MIL where to stand? Personally, because I dont have a super close relationship with my MIL, I dont think I would. Maybe at like 28 weeks or something. Is this their first grandbabies?? Yes, she is moving quite fast, but that just means she is excited, its understandable.
We ahvent told anyone yet, so we are not having any issues, we also live out of state from family and wont have to worry about any issues.

Good luck with your decision and your apt today. I am excited to hear how the babies are doing!!

I hear you both. I have only 2 bras that I can wear anymore, and of course DH is like "yeah!". Sorry hon, still too sore! Anyways, I'm trying to hold off getting any more bras for a few weeks to see if this is how big I'll get, or if I can space out getting a larger cup. Unreal changes!

Gennessa - Sorry about your MIL. I don't know, I sort of feel like if there is any time in your life you deserve some boundaries it is now. Especially during the delivery. Is your mom going to be there? I suppose it would be more difficult to axe MIL from the room if your mom was there but if she isn't maybe just tell everybody it is just going to be you and DH. This is YOUR experience and you should have that day the exact way you want it.
As for the U/S, I had my dad in with me on one and it wasn't too bad. They have everything covered up pretty well. I had my 10 week U/S yesterday and it was still trans vaginal. I think 12 weeks might be the graduation.

My U/S went great yesterday!! They are so big! (well, 1 inch long) It is amazing to see the difference from just two weeks ago. And boy were they moving. One looked like it had hiccups. The other looked like it was groovin' to some sweet tunes. So amazing. I can't wait until I can feel it. And the best news I have today.....I had my last PIO shot today!!! Yipeee!!! I, and my sore butt, are so thrilled about this. I stay on suppositories for 2 more weeks but I'll take those any day over evil PIO.

Hope you are well!

that's awesome news Rubylee! Aren't the changes cool? Wait til a few more, and then it'll really seem like they're babies vs blobs. So glad to hear your great news. You are soooo lucky you had your last PIO shot...I have about another week but am counting down the days until me and my sore ass are also relieved. DH has been a trooper, and of course I could not have done it without him. I haven't had to take any suppositories, so I will be done!

I hope everyone has a great, relaxing weekend.

Hi everyone!

I was wondering if I could join your group... though I should probably be on a "March 2009" thread :D

We got a positive result on 4 June, for the first time in 6 years!
it was our 7th ivf so you can imagine how we felt!...

So far my beta is increasing well, and I am scheduled for my first U/S next Friday 18/7

11 days post ET: b-hcg = 207
14 days post ET: b-hcg = 560
17 days post ET: b-hcg = 2335

I am due for another hcg next Thursday but so far we're guessing its twins...!

We were so excited that we told our parents & siblings already... we figured, after all this effort and dissapointment, we could all use some good news!
I do hope everything goes well!

I wish you all a relaxed and enjoyable pregnancy up to the last day!

mafalda - CONGRATULATIONS!!! That is amazing! I can't believe the road you and your DH have traveled. Your numbers look great, I am sure everything is going to go great. I am right there with you in telling all your close friends and family right away. We did the same thing! It is too exciting, especially after all the BFNs you had to suffer. I sure hope it is twins for you! Welcome!

Tarabel - I was so nervous for my first u/s, well, all of them actually. It is really really hard not to have morbid thoughts going in but do the best you can to keep up the PMA. That life in there needs all good energy. Can't wait to hear how it went.

Well, I have to rub it in just one more time; it was sooooo great not sticking a needle in my ass this morning :D . What a crazy ride this whole thing is.

Hope you all are enjoying your weekend.

Mafalda- Welcome and Congrats!!! It is SO exciting when you first see your little one(s). Its the best feeling ever!! I agree with Rubylee, its so nerve wrecking right before. I was scared to death!!! I have a 2nd u/s on Wed and I am now starting to get the anxiety. I do sing and talk to my babies, so I hope that helps them keep going
Anyway, I cant wait to hear how your u/s goes on Friday!!

Rubylee- You rock!!! As I sit here and get prepared for my shot. Whatever it takes right!?!?!?!?!

Hope all is well with everyone, and yua'll are enjoying your weekend. We're off ot the drive-in so I have to get my shot a few hours early.

HELLO, LADIES!! It is so weird to be posting in this forum! Reading through all of your posts about being pregnant is just so exciting! So, I haven't had my U/S yet, but I've had my 3rd beta...we are loving those rising numbers! I thought I would wait to hop onto this thread until after my U/S, but I couldn't wait! Hope that's ok! The U/S will hopefully be 7/25 (the day before DH's bday! What a gift!).

Also, my due date is technically in March, but since I already know several of you from the May/June board, I thought I would hit up this thread. Besides, if it's twins (DH is convinced it is...I think it's one), then it will probably be February anyway!

So far, my only real symptom is fatigue...I can kind of feel something happening in my belly, but no m/s yet. A little wave of anusea will come over me every once in a while, but not often.

Genessa - I would feel so uncomfortable if my MIL suggested being there for one of these appointments OR in the birthing room. Luckily, she lives pretty far away, so I doubt it will be an issue. But if she ever even mentioned it, I wouldh ave my DH talk to her and tell her no way, jose! I don't think we're going to have anyone other than me and DH in the birthing room...my mom would be the only exception, but my MIL...absolutely not. :) Is this her first grandchild?

How long are you all staying on the estrogen/estrace/estradiol? Just curious about that...

Rubylee - I am so jealous that you are done with PIO shots. Ugh. Glad to hear your U/Ss are going well...I love reading about you seeing your babies floating around in there! It must be so cool!

mafalda - Congrats on your BFP! Looking forward to hearing your report from the Friday U/S. Did you mean to say you got your BFP on July 4? And you're doing another beta the day before the U/S? Anyway - congrats to you...you and your DH have been through a lot...it's so exciting that you finally got your BFP!

Anyone other than Tarabel, Mafalda and I that are still waiting on the U/S?

Hope everyone has a great week!

Dakota - I've been taking it since right after ET. I was taking 2 2mg tablets every day after ET. I went in four days after ET for E2 and progesterone levels, and they had me increase the estrogen. So now I'm taking 3 2mg tablets of esradiol daily. They continue to check both levels with every beta...not sure when I stop, though! Maybe I'll ask the nurse tomorrow...Was your RE checking your E2 levels with your betas? Just another example of how the docs vary with their treatment.

Adsgirl- Nope, not once have I have my E2 levels checks since right before ER. Interesting!!! Why would they have to check E2? Just curious? Your right...so many RE's do so many things differently!!

Happy Monday Mommas!

AdsGirl - Yay!! Welcome. I am so glad you are here. Congratulations again!! I can't wait for your U/S! I had estrogen patches I wore after ET until my first U/S. I don't know this, but I think because they synthetically raise your estrogen/progesterone levels they have to keep them raised until a your body is producing enough not to notice the drop. That is what I understand about the progesterone anyway.

Dakota - I agree, whatever it takes. It's funny, now that I am on the other side of things I think, that wasn't so bad. I would do it again. In the start though I was so overwhelmed I didn't know up from down.
A drive-in, how fun! I have honestly never been to a drive-in. What did you see?

Do any of you remember that poop paste recipe? I need help! I have been eating ok, but with the ms there are just a few things I can choke down. I am on the max dose of Colace/docusate sodium, and very little is happening. Hope this isn't TMI.

Rubylee- I dont do the poop paste, I do 1 cup of prune juice in the morning (on am empty stomach, much important) then about 6 dried prunes with breakfast, then by about 10-11am I am good to go!!! Sometimes I add a few dried apricots in the evening. Hope this helps you!!
We saw Hellboy II & the other movie was Wanted, but I didnt make it, I was out! You should try it at least once!! Its great!!! Its great to take infants, we see them all the time. Its easy to go in your car and shut the door not to disturb others if one if fussy.

How did you choose your OB? Did you go to your gyn or did you look for someone who specializes in twins/multiples?
