Hi Everyone! Hope all are feeling well.

Congrats to the newcomers. It feels good to post here.

I have a question for you. I am about 6 weeks now and over the weekend I started to have little twinges of pain in my pelvic area. Nothing bad but I do notice them. I also started to have some pain around my ovaries. It feels like muscle and if I change position it goes away. I have my U/S on Wednesday but I was just wondering if anyone else has started or had these things happen?

Any help would be appreciated!
Have a great Monday!

Hello hello everyone - Boy so much to catch up on. 1st off thank you all for your support with the MLF. At home I feel like I am alone on this subject so thank you. My MLF is great I want you to know that just a bit over the top. This is not her 1st grandchild but my BIL lives in far away and so she does ntosee them often was not really apart of the pregnacy beacuse of the distance. So I am trying to let her in. I have a big family and we are very close so its hard for me to allow her in sometimes. My mom says I should let her enjoy with us as its nice to have a MLF and FIL that want to be a part of our lives and help us with whatever. I know that many poeple to not get that and have to be on there on or whatever. But I will tell you that this weekend she tried to take a picture of my tummy and I put my foot down on that one. I am not fat yet, and that would just be an insult.

Now for the catching up -
Dakota - I to love the drive in but we do not have anymore down south. In fact the last one I know of is in Sacamento and that one is closing. But I miss them a lot.

Ftg - The boob are getting bigger!!!!! I went to the maternity store this weekend to buy a dress for a wedding and they did not having anything that fit. They have for big bellys but not big huge boobs. So I just bought a bigger size and looked like a sac but what are you going to do. Thank goodness my pants still fit just the tops are to small.

Rubylee - Congrats on the no more PIO. I never had them just the supositories (sp??). How far along are you now? And its great you had your dad. I would not mind my dad or my mom. I am pretty open with them we are close. Its just different with your parents then with your in-laws. But I am trying for my DH to let them in as much as I can.

Welcome mafalda, tarabel, and adsgirls. Congrats on your BFP. You all have to tell us how your u/s's go. The first for me was a bit disapointing as all you see is a little black spec. thats it. But the joy of it is nothing I can describe.

OK I think I have types enough have a wonderful day. I hope eveyone is feeling better and progressing along.

Tarabel-I had that same thing that started in teh 6w range. I wouldnt describe it as cramps, it was more like you said, twinges and picking then I started last week getting a throbbing feeling in my ovaries (or that area) and that has started to get worse. Also, at 7 w I started getting a pintching or pulling feeling right in the joint of my legs by my pelvic area.

I go on Wed and am going to ask about all of this. I am curious to what others say, but I jsut wanted you to know that you are not along. I've been wanting to get my books I have reserved at the library, but I am afraid its going to jinx me. This coming from someone who had her transfer on Fri the 13th!

Dakota - Thanks so much. You make me laugh with the 13th! Looks like you are 6 days ahead of me. I am trying to stay calm and not worry but I had a miscarrage 9 years ago which freaks me out. I am just trying to stay caustiously optimistic and when I really start to worry I give myself a little pep talk.

It helps being able to ask you ladies for your input.

Thanks Again!

Hello ladies! Sorry to be MIA and glad to see so many newcomers, and so many twins!! I was on vacation last week and before that was busy at work.

Quick update - I was able to stop the PIO shots and suppositories on July 4 which was great. I had another u/s today and not only saw the baby move a lot, but also was told I am done with RE!! He even gave me a hug, and this guy is not very touchy feely. I am 11 weeks and he said everything looks great. I see my ob/gyn next Monday, and then just go once a month to him. How weird to go from once a week to once a month!

I am still feeling pretty crappy, but I keep hearing that should end soon - I can't believe I am almost at the end of the first trimester already!

Hope everyone is doing great!

Hey Ladeis--

Sorry I have also been MIA. I have been away the lst couple of weekends, and I have been so busy! I am just over 8 weeks now and luckily no ms. I do feel gross and ligh headed at some point everyday. I just don't feel right, it's hard to explain-- just unsettled I guess. Other than that, heartburn and I think the Consipation is starting. I don't have another u/s til 7/23. I am still on the PIO shots and Vivelle dot. Is anyone else on that? I get to stop them at 10 weeks, 7/27! I am a little worried about stopping the PIO, do they test if after you stop tp make sure it is still god? I know two people that have to be on progesterone their entire pregnancies that didn't so IVF. I'm a little nervous about that, but my ass is killing me! And its so itchy! Anyway, glad to see everyone is doing well! Can't wait til the 2nd trimester and I can breath a little bit :D

Neffi- Glad you are feeling pretty good. It is amazing we don't drive ourselves waiting for the next step.

Try to hotpack your butt. My shots were getting really bad last week and I started to hotpack and it has really helped.

Good Luck

just wanted to say hello and welcome to the new comers. I see that everyone is doing well, except for some scary moments, but I glad all ended up well. and what's with the twins? We will hear next Feb that a record was broken of twins born in that month...
I have been reading your posts regularly however I am so tired that I dont have energy to type. And as much as I dont suffer from ms and dont really have any dislikes towards food, I have a huge dislike towards a computer. I have been into reading lately. I recommend " the girlfriends' guide to pregnancy" book- it is so hilarious, i am LOLing all the time.
I was wondering how Children was doing. We havent heard from her for a while. I hope the MS is not that bad.
As for me, I have my first ob appt tomorrow. I finished PIO this Sunday and have one more week of estradiol and progesterone in suppositories. I am week 10 today according to last measured size of my embie. I cant wait to see the little bean tomorrow. but also the closer it gets, the more nervous I become. Is it normal?
I will do personals later. Need to go to bed now. cant wait for the 2nd trimester and the jump of energy. good night

Neffi- Glad all is well!! A little over a week until your next u/s...yeah. I bet you cant wait to see your little one again. I am so happy for you that you get to stop your PIO in less than 2 weeks. Thats great!!

Imblessed-GL with your first OB. Lots of questions I am sure.

Anyone gets these picking and pulling feelings in their crotch area? I've been getting them like crazy and if I sit down too long, when I stand up they really hurt.

Dakota

I have been having those pains since Saturday. They can hurt. For me I have been feeling so much better than last week not nearly as much nausea and I wasn't as tired yesterday but now I get those pains.

Hope you are doing well. Take care!

Hi Girls -
LB, Unexplained and Neffi - so good to hear from you! I was just wondering about you and Children as well. Glad you all are doing good!

I too had those shoots of pain. It is called round ligament pain (read about it in your pregnancy week by week I think). I guess it is your ligaments that support your uterus stretching. I still get them actually if I turn in a weird way or get up fast. I would still tell all these things to your doc just to be sure and to feel better.

Tarabel - I am so sorry about your miscarriage. I can imagine it would be impossible not to over analyze every feeling. You are being so closely monitored, everything is going to go perfect! PMA

Neffi - I did the Vivelle dots up until the first U/S. Then PIO until week 10, and now suppositories until week 12. They are messy.

Everything else it pretty good here. Had another bad evening with ms yesterday but am feeling a bit better this am. I am just over 10 weeks now and am so waiting for that time I keep hearing about when I am going to wake up to no ms and extra energy! Sounds amazing!

Welcome, TarabelTwo and Dakota.

Unexplained,

Thanks for asking and I did post constantly in "over 40 crowd" to update the ladies there since that was my home thread. I sometimes post redundantly here too to update everyone here in case that you don't have time to visit there.

Anyway, my MS does not seem to go away and I am afraid that this will be a long lasting event in my rest of the pg journey, just as the 1st pg. Although this time is more severe.

Everyone else,

I am very happy to read all of your updates, I follow your progress everyday. Since I don't have much to report myself, I mostly just read to know everyone if doing alright.

Some of you asked about E2 dots and progesterone injections. Since this is my second time, I feel more relaxed, so I don't always listen to my REs. I just do whatever and whenever I feel like doing. Sometimes I forgot to do the injection, other times I forgot to put on E2 patches - although I never let it go more than 24 hours. Anyway, I am now at 11 weeks and I am stopping E2 dots now. Will stop progesterone injection at 12 weeks. I run out the suppositories last night but I decided not to use anymore of this. Since there is a large variations among clinics in terms of how the hormones are used, I really don't think stopping now and 5 days later will make any difference. I also decreased the progesterone level from 1 ml to 0.75 ml and then 0.5 ml progressively since I hate the bruise on my butt and it did not seem to do any harm.

I will have another scan in July 24 and will update then.

Take care, everyone.

Maz101- Welcome!!! I have asked this same question, I am just a little over 7 weeks and am having a hard time with my clothes. I've read alot that with twins alot of women show earlier, really show around 9-10 weeks. Congrats on having twins!!! This board is FULL of twins and great mommies to be of singletons, you'll learn so much as I have.
