Tara- Glad you back, again sooru about Grandma. I've been waking up early and feeling good, but by 1pm it hits me like a truck and I cant focus I am so tired, so I hear ya!

Angram- Meat to me sounds so discusting, but carbs sound great! Cereal, pasta and breads!! All the things I shouldnt eat. I ordered pizza the other day and found out they now have whole wheat crust so I got that. I didnt feel so bad then :P

Well, my male dog has developed anxiety over Sitara's sickness. I finally took him to the vet today, 4 hours later I learned that he is not constipated he has major gas pockets in his stomach and he is having anxiety attacks. his heart rate was through the roof today. So he is now on anti-anxiety meds. Who would have thought????

I did a BIG no-no today. I was so stressed over the dogs I ate ice cream!!!!

In one of the books I am ready about twin pregnancy it mentions a diet by Dr Luke. I am going to see if I can find his book. Apperently his diet is full proof on having multiples that dont have a low birth rate. Each week something is growing, forming or whatnot and there are certain things needed for that week. Like when the brain is developing he says to eat lots of vit B rich foods, like barely, whole wheat products and so forth. Anyone heard of this or this Dr???? I havent had change to do research yet, but there is a small chapter in my book about him so I am very curious. That is one thing that scares me is 3-5lb babies.

Tarabel - I flew right at the beginning with all my needles and it was fine. I got a note from my RE saying I had to be traveling with them and listed the prescription. I am sure yours has a general letter and can get one to you , just in case. They never looked at mine, but I felt better having it.

Angram - 2:30 am! I am so impressed. I haven't seen that side of the day for months. DH is a musician and I keep missing his gigs because I just can't hang. Knowing how you felt the next day maybe I shouldn't try it. I have that problem shopping and eating. My stomach is rumbling and nothing is appealing in the least. The only thing that I keep going back to is garden burgers and diner type salad w/ iceburg lettuce and old school ranch. That will probably be disgusting shortly.

Dakota - Sorry about your worried pooch. Poor kid. I have one that is super sensitive too. Soo sweet though. I love huskies, they are really amazing and soulful creatures. All ours are mutts and very different. You should see DH with the youngest, the only girl. He swoons over her. So cute.
I do remember hearing about that doc's diet. Let me know if you find the book and what you think. It was really protein based right? And, is ice cream a no-no? Man I have been eating it up. I swear it calms my stomach

Have a good day ladies!

Hello ladies happy monday to you.

It sounds as though everyone is doing well. I am so happy for everyone. Tarabel so sorry to here about your DH's grandma. My thoughts are with you and your family. On the flying question, I flew at the very start and it was fine my RE said it would not cuase a problem. I just made sure to have snacks on the plan as I got a bit sick from the take of and landing. And for hte needles yes you can take them on the plan. You should put them in your carryone and have the perscription with you and make sure your name is on all medication. Now they might pull you out of line but if oyu have you name on the drugs not the needles you will be fine. They did not even pull me out of line but I had everything ready just in case. Oh and I flew Southwest if that helps.

Dakota no ice-cream?? I eat it alot is that bad? Oh and I have one dog Sasha and one cat Haley. And the funny thing is the cat will not leave me alone. She follows me everything lately. To the bathroom in the kitchen like shes a dog or something. My mom said she had a cat that did that every time was was pg. It really is very strange. As for Sasha she is a boxer/pit mix and she is wonderful. We are a bit worried about when the babies come but I think as long as we do not change her routeine and someone suggested that close to the time I should start carrying baby dolls around the house to teach her not to jump and if they are on the ground not to go near them etc. Well see.

Rubylee OB's are a tough thing. I think we have decided to you with the one my RE recommeded. She is close by 30mins from home and she and her office are very nice. She is mandating a c-section but I guess thats is what I will have to deal with.

Hope everyone is doing well we have not heard from some ladies ina while I hope they are coming along.

Sorry ladies, I should have fraised that differently. I am Insulin Resistant/PCOS and am not suppose to have sugar right now, so that is why the ice cream was a no-no. BUT, I was reading in my twins books and it is actually promoting premium quality ice cream, like Edy's. It says it is a great dairy snack because its made with whole milk and whole cream so it has good fat for the babies, plus lots of calcium and very little added sugar. Go online and read the ingredients.

Rubylee- I did a little research about Dr Luke's diet and its a mixture of fats, whole grains, dariy and protein, and learning how to mix them in meals and snacks for optima nutritional balance. Some examples for snacks are apples & p-nut butter, ice cream w/ nuts, cereal w/whole milk, whole yogurt w/ granola and fruit, whole grain crackers & cheese or p-nut butter. Her avg clients babies weigh 7lbs for twins. Thats great!!!

Genn-I've read and heard many times that animals can sense and smell babies. I've read that dolphins and gorilla's have the best sense for it. I think that is amazing!!!

I think I am going to have to check out some new pants this weekend. The rubber band trick is not working well anymore because I cant get my zipper all the way up now and I dont have very many shirts that will cover unzipped pants. I'd feel bad for the poor sole who got a glimsp of that while I was reaching for something high at work. Yikes!!

Is it Wed yet????

Hi Everyone

Thanks so much for the well wishes for grandma. She was a neat ladies. She was one of those little old mexican ladies, that so full of spuck. She just made you laugh. But over the last few years she just wanted to pass away to be with her DH. I think they are having a big fiesta right now with lots of mariachi music and beer!!!! That is what they loved!

Thanks Everyone so much for the flying advice. I have been so worried about it but it sounds like everything will be fine.

Angram and Dakota- I told agree with the food thing. I tend to get food take few bites and can't finish it. Weird part for me is I feel hungry but the thought of eating just makes me blah!

I called and made my first ob appointment today for August 7. I wasn't able to get into the 2 ladies I wanted to so they gave me a guy. They said if I don't like him I can have my next with the lady I originally wanted. I just want to feel comfortable with who ever it is.

Have a good day everyone!

Dakota - Sorry about your furry children hope he feels better soon. I have 2 kitties Tipper and Wicket. DH keeps asking them if they want a brother or a sister! I am sure they don't want either!!

Hi Ladies

How is your ligament pain going. My seems to around constantly. I did some research and they say it shouldn't last a long time that they should come and go. I ended up calling my new ob who I haven't even seen yet but had to leave a message. Broke down and finally took some tylenol to see if it will help.

What do you think? I don't know if this is just another paranoid thing or not.

Thanks
Tara

Hello everyone  I hope today is a good day for you. I am doing well I feel a bit like a cold is coming on but otherwise I am ok. I have my last RE appt. tomorrow. I will then be offically graduated. I am going to miss that office though they have been so great and I wish they could take to the whole way but I guess they did their part and now I have to move on.

So I am ten weeks today. I dont really feel anything and I was a bit worried beacuse I keep having these thoughts like maybe the babies are gone or something. But everyone keeps telling me that its still to early to really have many changes and I should just relax. Its so hard though I know it sounds morbid but everytime I go the the potty I check to make sure that there is no spotting or anything I just keep thinking that something bad happened. But I am sure its just nerves. I cant wait to see the pictures tomorrow and see them bouncing around in there.

Have a good day I am at work so unfortunitly it will be a bad day until I get home. HEHEHEHE

Hi Girls -
Gennessa - I check the paper every time I am in the bathroom too. My DH says I am a morbid girl anyway, but I think it is almost impossible to keep those thoughts out of your mind. I think you just have to keep yourself in check and make sure you are not going overboard with it. Sorry you're not feeling much. No nausea? No constipation? I would be happy if those things backed off a little for me.

Tara - My ligament pain is a little better this week, though the past weeks were pretty constant. Did the Tylenol help?

Dakota - I got that book by Dr. Luke and really like it. I don't know if I have the discipline to follow it to a T but I think the groundwork she lays out for eating is really important. I got some great ideas for snacks and will try some of her recipes for sure. Have you had some time with it? What do you think?

All is well with me. I am still having ms but it has lightened. I had a couple days there when it was gone, what a great feeling it was. I have my last RE apt. on Monday and I too am sad to leave them. My new OB, whom I haven't met yet, is very hard to get into. But it sounds like she knows what she is doing.

Have a great day!

I just wanted to give you guys a quick update.

I had some bleeding and cramping this morning and went straight to the Dr's office. they did an u/s right away and Baby B's heart stopped beating sometime in the last 12 hours. My heart is so broken right now. I am trying to be strong for Baby A, but it is killing me!!!
The Dr was stunned considering how great it was growing and how strong the heartbeat was, it was even measuring to date as well. Very sad. RE does not know what caused the bleeding as there was no sign of blood at all by the time I got there. Thats kinda weird.

Baby A is doing great, its measuring ahead of schedule and has a heart rate of 177bpm. I go back on Friday in the morning to check on things. I will not be released to OB this week as planned.

Dakota - My I am so sorry to hear of your loss of baby B. I am heart broken for you. I am not sure what to say and I know this may sound funny but I feel as though we are all in this together and I am truly feeling your pain.

My I ask what happens now? Do they leave baby b or does that boby pass it thru. I am very nervous that this can happen to me or to any of us as well.

Stay strong and keep pushing on for baby A that little bean needs all the support right now.

Genn- I didnt ask the RE about it, I think he may have explained it to me, but I was so numb that all I saw was lips moving. I am going to ask more questions on Friday when I go in. If I am not mistaken is will be pushed aside and absorbed. I dont know if I will expirience any pains or bleeding when this starts to happen. I am going to ask alot of questions Friday. Now, because of this everything is going to really freak me out for baby A.

I am still just in shock. I was reading that once the baby reaches a heart rate of 140bpm and you get past 8 weeks your chances of loosing the baby is less than 5%.

Dakota - I am so, so sorry. Words can't even express how sorry I am that you are having to go through this. I am sure you have been told all the obvious, cliche things like it is nature's way of taking care of something wrong. And I can't imagine that would ease your pain right now, but know it's true. Damn sweetie, I just hate this. I will be thinking of you and your DH and keep strong for baby A.

Dakota-- Wow, I am so sorry for your loss! I can't imagine how you are feeling right now, but focus on the one you have! He/she needs you! You are in my prayers!

Well I had my last appt with RE today. Baby looks good, measuring on schedule and it was so cool to see him/her moving all around. HR was 184bpm and everything looked perfect. I get to stop PIO shots Sunday! Yay! I cant wait. I leave for vacation tomorrow night so I will be MIA for awhile.
