Wow, you guys have been awfully quiet lately. sorry I have't been around much. I head back to work here in about 4 (technically) short weeks. However, as soon as I can get into our NEW school, I gotta go up to get my room going. I have been trying to spend all my time with dd and dh. Though dh returned to work today

Miracle- I am so sorry to hear about your grandmother. You are such a strong woman to say you are going to look at the good and spend as much time with her as you can. I loved HOpe's suggestion on video taping memories of her grandmother.

Hope- Glad to hear that everything is going well. I cannot believe how far along you were. Seems like just yesterday you got your BFP. I am excited for you that you are having a boy. so do we have any names yet?
I cannot believe how much you have had to work lately. How long will you be able to take off work after teh baby is born?

Chriss- Sorry to hear that you had a time of recovering from your lap. I forgot....how severe was your endo? When I was first diagnosed with endo, I did't have a lap....instead they completely cut me open. I have a nice scar from my breasts down to my belly button and then another one from hip bone to hip bone.
However, I will tell you that 6 months after they removed the endo I got my BFP. So, best of luck to you.
When do you return to work?

well, DH and I are having a garage sale this weekend and selling ALL our baby stuff. Guess it is official that we are done with IVF. Plus I cannot even get my clinic to call me back. We did talk a little about adoption last night though and I told dh I want at least one more child. so, we will see where all this goes.

Angie- Sorry I missed your post. I am sorry that you are feeling so awful lately. It's so hard when everyon expects everything from you all at once. You have to remember that you are only one person and can only do so much at a time. While it is hard to tell people no, not right now, you may have to.
As for work....on a good note....at least it is Thursday....easy for me to say as I am on vacation.

hrobinson, hi there. How are you today? How old is your DD? Just curious. Oh, about the endo, mine was not so bad. Stage I or II. None on ovaries or tubes. I forgot that you are also a teacher. Tell me more about your "NEW" school. I am really enjoying my sumer vacation. It is going by way too fast though.

Hi Angel, sorry that you are feeling some stress from all angles. Deep breath, right? What can you do for yourself? Anything to make you feel better? Remember that it is ok to say "No" to people. Thinking of you. Oh, the clean up is going pretty well. Still have lots more to do, but feels good that we got started.

Carolyn, how's it going with the rents? I spent some time with my dad today. He helped me with a flat tire of all things. DH was at work so Daddy to the rescue. I ended up getting DH a gift certificate for a sweedish massage. Expensive, but he's worth it.

I am pgigging out once again. What is it about infertility that makes me eat like a pregnant woman? I gained 15-20 lbs over the past two years. But I still keep eating. Stress eating?

Chriss - thanks. Think I just needed a rant yesterday. Yes, I know I should just be able to say no. Because I can't, I have come to the point of screening all my calls and just ignore certain people, until I feel strong enough to be able to deal with them. And DH told one particularly pesky relative that from now on he does not want them calling me at all - if they need anything at all they should call him directly.

I'm totally with you on stress eating. After my BFN, I ate anything in sight. Although at the moment I have a different problem. I am doing everything right - honest. Have been for 6 weeks now. And theres still NO difference. So I'm losing the motivation.

And hey - talk about great minds thinking alike ........ I too bought DH a certificate for a swedish massage 2 weeks back. He really enjoyed it. Definitely worth it.

Hrobinson - things happen for a reason. Keep the faith, you may still be able to fulfill your dream of another baby. The operation you had sounded quite painful....but at least you got a result out of it Hope you can get rid of loads in your garage sale.

Im so sorry i have been MIA (an before u suggest it Angel, its not cos i have found other friends lol) I have been so down about things that, i didnt have the energy to post.

I think i needed time out from all this, i know u ladies will understand, i just wanted to be me for a while! Ive gotten depressed about my weight - an however much i say, im trying to lose it to have a baby etc - its not working - it doesnt hit home that this might not work cos im big - an im starting to panic now, tmt is around the corner - meant to be starting on day 21 of next AF (due in 2 weeks) but i really dont feel healthy enough, but yet i want to get going again (does any of this make sense)

Oh im sorry ladies, ive burst back on here again going on about my problems when i havent properly caught up with u ladies yet.

I see Su had her baby boy Yehhhhhhhhhh Yippie Well done Su, i did leave u a message on FB - an this mornig i logged an an happen to see a thread for Jayne - she also has had her twins - (another) Yehhhhhhhhh Yippieeeeeee So sad about her operation tho, but im sure she is just so pleased at the moment to have her boys here (what is it with Oliver - VERY popular at the moment)

I havent had a chance to read back on the rest of u lovely ladies, i do hope u are all well - talking about Hope, did i just see a posting from Angel saying that Hope - ur expecting a Boy too? Wow - there are boys everywhere - i think the only girls we have heard about were from Rachel an Shantala (Yo ladies, do it for the girls lol)

My best friend also found out that she is ahving a boy too ..... wow! So many boys ...

Anyhow, thought i'd better come on an let u all know that im still alive, dunno about kicking tho - dont have the energy for that either lol ....

Stop putting yourself down. I know weight has some factor in the tmt but you arent 200 pound over weight!!! I really think your clinic sucked your first two cycles. You are at a new clinic right???

Hi ya Chriss!!! So glad you are posting regular again!! Well that stinks that your Daddy had to change a flat tire. Isnt it good to know that you can always count on your Daddy?? My Daddy is the same!!! Such a good man. So what is going on with you and tmt? (if you dont want to talk about it, that is totally fine!!!) Yeah, I am sure your vaca is going too fast for you. Well, my DH is coming home today!! So excited!! We have two babies...(furbabies) and they miss him sooo much. Before I left this morning I told them, Daddy will be home soon!!! It is like they know what I am saying!! They get to excited!!! Ok, everyone have a great day!!!

Aww hun, so sorry you're feeling down. You are starting tmt soon though, so you must get in a more positive frame of mind before you start poking yourself with them needles. I know its easier said than done, but please try. And we're here for you to help.

Regarding the weight loss, OMG have we all been talking about it or what??? I know Chriss, myself and Hrobinson all have the same struggle. So don't worry hun, you're on on your own. Besides if your weight was a major concern, none of the clinics would treat you.

Hey Becks, don't feel bad about going on hiatus (did I spell that right?) We all have times when we don't want to post. At least I do. Sometimes I want to try to put IVF on the back burner. Altho I never really forget. It's always there, huh? Just post when you want. We get it!

Hello everyone. Today it is bright and sunny out after many days of rain. I am definately making it to the beach today. (Sorry for those of you at work). I have to collect some shells for my sweet little nephew. He's three and he asked me for more shells on the phone yesterday.

Just had some scrambled eggs, protein... trying to eat protein so I don't crave carbs. I packed a healthy lunch for the beach... tomato, basil, red onion and marinated mozeralla. Yumm, yumm, healthy too. I'll throw in some fruit too.

Do you guyz have any good weekend plans????

Yeah, I always talk to my furbabies like that. Before I leave everyday I tell them to be good and mommy loves them!!! DH used to tease me but he does the same now. When I talk to him at night, I have to put him on speaker so he can "talk" to the babies!! It is cute. They are our babies...
So sorry you are having a stressful day. At least you only have a couple of hours left!!! Yeah, I think absence does make the heart grow fonder...At first I was like, OH no big deal, it will be nice to have time alone. FORGET that now! i miss him too much...

Hi Chriss!!!! OOOO the beach!! So lucky!!! Is your DH going or are you just having a R&R Chriss day? Either sound fab!! It has been very rainy here too!!! Everyday at 4pm it starts. A couple of days ago we had Hail the size of quarters!! it was crazy!!! You sound happy!! Good for you!!!

Had more counselling today and Dh came -due to waiting lists definitely going abroad for treatment - most in UK asre 18 months to 2 years and am too old to wait that long .. so doing some research this weekend on it !

So proud of you. Good attitude!!! When you say you are going abroad, where is that? I think the visit with your parents was just what you needed. You needed your mommy to take care of you. I am so glad you had such a good time. Sucks to have to work, I know. i wish I was rich and didn't have to work either... oh, my furbabies are two doggies!!!
