Hi ladies and happy Monday-
Dakota-I'm SO happy to hear your good news about your baby. As long as they said all is normal with what is going on in your body, and what it is still trying to expell, I really believe you have nothing to worry about. I'm glad that they can be encouraging for you, and keep up your PMA for your babe!
Neffi-congrats on finally giving up the PIO shots! I know my ass is STILL healing from them, over a week & a half later!
Angram-looking forward to hearing about your results today.
legalndn-I would be bitter too. Sometimes I think some dr's are mor non-challant, some more meticulous. Regardless you know you still have your strong one in there that will make you a happy parent!
For those struggling with a bit of weight gain/body change already. I did notice it at 7-8 wks even with my singleton, however all the bloating from my horrible constipation at that time had me thinking that was the culprit. Needless to say, I definitely have changed now after quitting the PIO shots. I feel MUCH better, and do not have nearly the constipation I did for weeks. I'm back to going almost once a day which is exactly where I was prior to pregnancy. I'm hoping it will go away totally, but I am definitely due for more clothes, and bras!
Eating wise-I definitely ensure I get the protein I need each day. I was told by my dr. 75 grams for singleton, twins need 150. I did track for a couple of days withouth thinking of my normal diet, and I'm getting everything I need. I also can't go more than almost 3 hrs before I HAVE to eat something now! I go to the gym a couple days/wk walk and swim, and now have to bring a snack for afterwards so I don't starve. I'm also starting to realize I shouldn't bend over anymore gardening, getting the dog, etc. but use my knees and keep my back straight instead. We've all been through so much!
About working. I am very fortunate we have been on 1 income since we started trying. I had quit my good paying position just prior to our starting to try to conceive as I didn't want the stress to keep us from being successful, and it was a high-stress role. Well, no one found out why we couldn't conceive with other methods, but 1st try with IVF we will take! I do not plan to go back to work as I want to ensure I do a good job with being a parent being my job

I worked for 15 yrs in the corporate world. I know lots of women who can't stay at home, it would drive them nuts. Everyone needs to do what is best for them and their own family. And yes, we did have to sacrifice some things in order to have this arrangement. I think once you plan, and understand what your priorities are, you can do anything and make it work
Hoping to hear more good news from you all. Hang in there!
