Good morning ladies!!!

How are you guys doing? How as your weekend?

Nimble,
Must agree with Angel, your little cutie is ADORABLE! You're very lucky, and I wish you tons of tender moments, laughter and fascinating discoveries with your little one! Thanks for your kind words, of course I understand you weren't there for FET, LOL, I preferred you where you were!!!! :D:D:D

Angel, Carolyn, hrobinson, THANK YOU so much for the bday wishes! You guys are so cute! *HUGS*

hrobinson,
I see you're very busy!!! Aren't you beginning the new school year today? Well in that case, I wish you a nice school year with lots of reeeeeeally cool and quick-learning students! :D Thanks for your kind words dearest.

The party went very well. However, one of my friends got dumped last Wednesday, I told you guys, and she emailed on Sunday morning to let me know she wouldn't come to the party. Of course I understand, but I would have appreciated a call... and know more in advance! Most of the food had been cooked by then, so I was stuck with too much food. The 7-course meal was shortened to 5 courses, lol, because my portions were a little too big. The food was a huge hit though, my best friend and her husband really liked it. As for the two-tiered cake, it was shortened to one-tiers; I froze the smaller tiers for later use, as well as its frosting. I was quite proud of myself though; the cake looked nice, as did the flower arrangement (made it myself). I had a very special moment in the afternoon when, finally, after 15 years, I opened the boxes my Belgian grandparents gave me as an early wedding gift. Inside, I found my great-great-grandmother's china. She was born in 1895 and received it as a wedding gift in 1904 when she married a jockey from Cambridge. That china has a lot of history, it's beautiful, and I was really happy to use if for such a special occasion (I turned 30). I'll sure use it again whenever we have guests at the house. I took pics of the whole thing; I'll put them on photobucket for my family. Aaaaaand inside one of the boxes, my grandma had put a little note with three pieces of clothing my mother knit for me as I was fighting for my life during my first month (I was born 2 months early). How cute is that??? Aw, I hope I'll use them one day!

Speaking of which, I feel very pregnant. I've been feeling pulling and mini-cramping, I've been increasingly tired and forgetful. Hadn't felt any cramping with the progesterone the last three times... it's just that feeling that I'm pregnant... very special, and I hope it's true!!!

And my DH made me the greatest gift yesterday morning... and I realized he'd been lying to my face for weeks!!!!! ugh! We've been talking about adopting a second dog for two months. At the beginning, he seemed motivated, and then he started having second thoughts. When I talked about it, he would not really reply anything, he seemed to avoid the issue with me, or he expressed second thoughts. And on the morning of my birthday, he came to me with a gift bag... guess what I found in it... a leash! LOL The little bugger!!!! So we talked about it more seriously, and decided to adopt a smaller dog than our lab/golden mix. We don't like lapdogs, though, so not that small. We applied on this dog:

http://www.petfinder.com/petnote/displa ... d=11629053

My mother owned a welsh corgi for 18 years and she ADORED that dog. Apparently, they're very intelligent, and amazing family dogs. Her corgi played with her two rottweilers very well, so it reassured us that she could be a nice companion for our dog. The shelter is supposed to call us after they review our application form. Keep your fingers and toes crossed!

Okay guys, gottta go, but have a very nice day!!!!

Hi Sophie,
Congrats! I can imagine the big surprise! I gave DH a bulldogue last April, our third dog. They get along just fine and it is a lot of fun. We need that during this time of waiting and hope and little more than that.
I am thinking of you!

Back to work tomorrow...it maybe better. I started spotting something brownish/grayish mixed with the intravaginal progesterone (this list is one of the few places we can share such details fearing no disgusted replies). It is so little that I can only see it when I wipe and/or pee. Of course, I worry and breathe slowly...

Hope things go well of all of us!
Best wishes, Literatriz

Carolyn - how many times do you go camping??????? I wouldn't be able to go once!! Make sure you remember to pack your stilletoes. Dorset is so pretty, hopefully you'll have good weather too. Although it is meant to be raining until end of this week. I'm doing ok. Just overwhelmed with work at the moment. And when I went out at lunch time there were so many women out there with their kids which made me wonder how they all manage to not work!!!

PMA - you sound like a wonderful cook. A 7 course meal???? Wow!!! And here I was proud of myself after cooking a 4 course meal. That’s it - you're the domestic goddess of this thread now. And I love your PMA - if you're feeling pregnant, then you ARE.

Miracle - How are you hun? Was it really bad yesterday? Take care of yourself. It must be terrible to have DH away in that type of weather. Hopefully it doesn't affect the area he works in. Drive carefully.

Chriss - how are you? Miss you.

Becky - how are you feeling hun? Loved your list of things you can do without a baby. DH and I were talking about it a month back but I couldn't be as enthusiastic about it as him. He felt a little bit hurt as he said he loves me kids or no kids but for me, having each other doesn't seem to be enough. So for the time being we are going to concentrate on tmt and do everything in our power to make it work. I'm trying my best to make sure I have no negative thoughts but deep inside me I do have this fear of it not working.

Angie - if you're reading this we really really miss you. Please come back. I do hope everything is ok with you.

Nimble - are you enjoying your special time with eva? Bet you can't just stop watching your little miracle.

Sorry if I've missed anyone else.

Morning Ladies :)

Wow - ok, will try to catch up an remember everything an everyone .... where do i start!!!

Nims: She is beautiful hun, i have left comments on ur facebook, glad u got the text message - wernt sure if i should have text that night or not but i was soooooo excited for u i couldnt help myself LOL. Glad she is keeping u busy - isnt it funny how much ur life changes over night - i cant wait until she is 17/18 and turning ur hair grey - haha cos trust me, she will be ;) love to u all xxxx

Angel: Well hello there sweetie :) xx How u doing? I totally understand u feeling the way u do about tmt an the thought of this next tmt not working, its different i thiink for me, because i already have children - it doesnt for one min change the way i feel about having another with DH, but i honestly dont think the need is there as much becuase i have already been there (if u know what i mean) so dont feel bad about feeling the way u do, everyone is different - im just setting myself up for a new life either way ...... so, when is ur next tmt starting? Mine will be on next AF (im on one at moment) which is Sept - so will start d/r end of Oct (ish) are we doing it the same time???

Sophie: A Welsh corgi - of course they are adorable and intelligent and amazing - its cos they are WELSH ;) now if u got an English one - well theres no saying what it wud get up to haha - it be crap at playinig ball, i mean look how many grand slams the welsh have had in the last 5 years (hee hee hee) ok, so ur not into rugby, i can tell by the glazed look on ur face LOL. So - the dinner party went really well by the sounds of things - i wish i cud cook like u - wish i had the time to cook to be honest, i watch all the programmes with Jamie Oliver an Gordon Ramsay, an i get all the tips (Jamie has some brill tips) but never seem to have any time to cook anything substancial - im usually a chicken brest diced with a jar of summit added  easy peezy LOL .... Hope all ur symptoms are pregnancy ones, when is ur test date??? Xxxx

Miracle: Jeeze I hope the hurricane stayed away from u, ive seen bits of it on the telly an it looks awful  Here in Northern Ireland we have been hit really bad with rain an floods, lots of people have lost their homes, an bridges have collapsed etc – not half as bad as a hurricane mind you, but still devastating to those who’s homes have been flooded. The PS I Love u movie is really good although I will say I read the book a few years ago and preferred that. I think that’s the way with books, u have images in ur own mind and a film can then spoil it for you. In the book its set in Ireland and they go away to US for holiday, but the film is set in US an they go to Ireland for holiday, its just not the same, but if u haven’t read the book – then rent the movie, its great  Also hired 27 dresses last week and DD an I sat an watched it one afternoon, it’s a proper girlie film too – I enjoyed it but DH wud have hated it lol. Xxxx

Hrobinson: Glad u liked the walk in wardrobe (closet) on my list, I think that’s one of the ones im excited about too haha – if we have a spare bedroom it be great to bung things in there, or I can make it my make-up/getting dressed room …. When I get ready to go out I can take hours, an I like to listen to music (which DH hates) so I can retire to my room to get myself all dolled up lol xxx

Carolyn: You asked what everyone is up to this BH weekend. Im going away to a 4* hotel in Co Meath (Ireland) I cant wait. Its part of my 40th birthday treat from DH. He really spoilt me an I was shocked that he booked this too. It has spa, pool, Jacuzzi, fitness centre – mini bar, robes and slippers – I cant wait  My friends are going camping too, not sure if there gonna be swingers there or not tho ;) camping is right good crack an I love it – DH did threaten me that my birthday treat was honna be camping instead of the hotel as he has spent so much on me this year hahaha – but like I said to him, its not everyday a girl hits the big 4 0 so it has to be special right?????? Have a great time an I hope the rain steers clear for u …. Hugs xxxxx

OK, who have I left out, I know there must be someone – so sorry if its youuuuu lol. Am busy in work at moment an typing this out on MS Word so boss doesn’t catch me out LOL, so cant see topic review at moment to see what I’ve missed …

Think I better post this now ladies, suppose ive bored u all silly – I tend to do that once ive been away for a while lol … lots to catch up on see :p

Hugs to everyone Xxxxx

Gosh Becky - how did I miss your long post until now????

Ooohh....enjoy being spoilt silly this weekend. Sounds fab. Not fair though you get to do it twice in a short space of time. Me jealous :( Didn't you go away for DH's 40th too?? Just kidding - Enjoy - you deserve it. :D

Carolyn, don't foget the stilletos cause that would be a disaster.

I have yet to agree my schedule but will be sometime in October. Still have to get a lot of things sorted for it yet, but ER should be sometime end of Oct I think. So yeah - the 3 musketeers will cycle together, and get our BFPs together. You tell the Spanish clinic to get its act together :x

Miracle - I really do hope you are ok.

Oh yes - stillettos already packed - don't often wear them so just leave them in the camping bag!!! - so if it is a swingers site  - I am sorted with stillettos and tracksuit bottoms and no jumper!!!!

Mir - hope you ok - please just pop in and say all ok - we are worried xx

Chris/ Ang - thinking of you xx

Nims - our newest mummy - hope all ok and Eva is being a good girl xx

Heather - hope you not working too hard now back at school x
