JJJake, horsegrl and hoping4~ We are anxiously waiting for your results!! Tons of baby dust coming your way!

Misfixit~ I know you have a tough decision coming. I don't know what the chances are of you getting OHSS. The ggo dpart is that it is associated with pregnancy! It can get bad to where you need to be in the hospital but that is not so common. You just have to see what kind of numbers they have with a FET at your clinic.
Good luck and I know you will make the right choice for yourself.

Much Hope~ Thanks for checking in and for the congrats. I can't wait to celebrate your BFP. That is so exciting what you are doing. You have wonderful PMA...I love it!

slfleming~ One more day until your beta!! How are you feeling? The day of the beta was really tough for me, I hate that anticipation!
Sending positive vibes your way!!

I'm at home one more day thanks to hurricane Ike! We really dodged a bad one! What a relief! I can't imagine finding out that I'm pregnant and have my house destroyed. I'm so grateful!

Later girls and can't wait to get the cheers out of my bags. I'm ready! :D

I spent the weekend in Boston with my DH and I am heading home to Chicago this afternoon. He travels for work and being home alone leading up to the Beta was too much last time. And it was a good distraction having a weekend away!

I was certain yesterday it would be positive, and now I'm not so sure. I hate the idea of getting my hopes up too high, because then I have farther to crash if it's negative. I've been feeling some cramps and back pain...but is it AF? The waiting just drives me crazy.

One more day....congrats to all the BFPs! I hope to join you!

Hi All

I'm waiting for my second beta results. I am a little anxious, even though the first one was so good, because we haven't had three good numbers before. It has been 4 hours now. I hope they call soon. I got out of work early today.

Hope you are all having a good day.

valerie68 - what symptoms? I've had twingy cramps that have become AF like today along with lower back soreness. My boobs are def. sore today, I've become very tired over the past few days, I'm gassy and I'm peeing alot. Most of these symptoms I had with my last BFP. However, I had some of them with my last BFN so I'm afraid to be too hopeful!

JJJake - woohoo, HPTs don't generally give a false +! Hooray BFP, can't wait to see your beta.

lynniecat - sounds like your little embies did you proud! Welcome to the dreaded 2ww.

toobee - can't wait to see how many are in there!

Looking forward to more BFPs from the other betas today. Good luck ladies!

Hello Ladies,

Wow I just can't keep up with everyone spend one day sleeping and lots happens!!!
ER went ok it was quite painful oto be honest. The drugs never put me out the whole so I felt it, every stick. But the pain was dulled enough that I wasn't brought to tears. Poor nurse said everytime I was hurt my bp went to 150/110 wowser.
I got my fert report. They retreived 11 eggies, 8 of which were mature and 6 fertilized. YIPPEE that is 6 times as many then last time. They said the last 2 looked nice and mature and can still fertilize so time will tell. Only bad thing about 6 is that at my clinic they don't go to 5 dya with 6 they will with 8 though and I really want a 5 day transfer. My doc will transfer 4-6 3 day embies and that really scares me. What a decision it will be but it sure is nice to hav choices this time as last time I only have one fert on day 1 then one on day 2. I am at work today but staying too long my pain is kinda bad.

So we have 3 BETA's today can't wait to hear them. I will be thinking of you horsegrl, hoping, and jjjake(although GRATS ON +HPT)

Slfleming- Welcome , this is such a great place for supp[ort. Good luck on your BETA tomorrow.

Lynnie- your embies just sounded so perfect definate baby making goodies.

Amanda- Looking forward to hear that second BETA and see how many you have in there.

Msfixit- I am so glad to hear you are feeling better. It is so terrible to feel so yucky at such an exciting time.

KAS- that is terrific news about your egg quality. Your baby will be here soon.

Toobee - wowser on the second BETA. I think it will be twins )))))))).

Well boss just walked gotta go.

Have a great day!!!

Kerpupples~ I think your symptoms sound fantastic! I have all those still except the gasiness is in the form of burps for me...all day long. Just when I think it has eased up, here it is again. Doesn't really bother me and when I have it, I know things are ok.
Which symptoms do you have that are the same as the ones with your BFN?
Trust your instincts, if they tell you that you're prego, you are most likely right. But it doesn't work that way for women that do not have symptoms.
It might sound crazy but the second day after transfer, I already felt like it had worked. I had my days when I doubted everything because like you I was afraid that I'd be wrong.

I think you're on your way to a BFP. Good luck. :D :D

Hi everyone! I have been laying low during the 2ww...trying to stay busy.
I wasn't going to poas, but I did, more for fun. I did it twice, friday and sunday, both positive! I told DH on sunday, and he didn't believe me after I told him about how the results can be false either way after the ET.

Today was the beta...275! I have been watching the board and everyone's numbers, how the 500's have been twins, and I'm in the middle? So another beta next week, then we schedule an u/s.

Thank you all for your support and help. Even though I don't post a lot, I read all your posts and they have gotten me through this process, THANK YOU!!!

Hi All

I just got my second beta...I called and left a message 1.5 hours ago. and my test was at 7:45....she just called back and was like..."Don't you check your voicemail." EWW. Yes I do when I have one. There is no voicemail at home or on my cell. Anyway my number was 995. Yay looks like it is probably just one.

I'll write more later.

HOPING - CONGRATS ON THE BFP!!!!!

Kas - I sent you a PM but I don't know if you got it. I just check my sent box and it isn't there. I was just thinking that if you are moving to IL you might have IVF coverage. There is an Ill state mandate to cover IVF, though there is a clause with the mandate. If your insurance is self insured which basically means that your company pays for the insurance then they do not have to participate. Though my insurance is a self pay and still has some kind of coverage. Just not as much that is covered in the mandate. So you might want to check into that when you move to IL. Maybe something good about coming to live in the midwest. I don't know about RE's in Peoria, if you can't find a good one then you can always go to St. Louis or Chicago. You are about 3 hrs away from each place, so you will have a drive but there is also a variety of RE's to choose from. PM me if you have any questions.

hoping4~ WOOOOOOHOOOOOO!! Congrats on the positive beta!
We are beta sisters!! I also had 275! We could go either way, a singleton or twins! I'll gladly take what I get!

I am so happy for you and DH!! I can't wait for the US, but I'd rather do it later than sooner, that way we see baby and heartbeat. That would be comforting!

hoping4 - CONGRATS on being PG!! That's great news! Very happy for you

Amanda - Wonderful news on your second beta. It's rising just nicely :)

MzTia - OMG, you felt your ER??? I'd be mortified. You poor thing. I remember none of mine. But you have some great numbers there! Good luck for a great embryo growth!!

As for me, not so good here :( I woke up in pain again. I was just happy about feeling better yesterday and this morning pain woke me up. It was somewhat different than the last few days, more like right after the ER procedure - strong throbbing on both sides, more on the left.
We made it to the RE by noon and had a long conversation with him. The status of our 4 embies is the following. One of them is a 5BB blastocyst that started hatching. 2 are at the "early blast" stage, whatever that is. And one is still a morula. So we talked about our options. RE felt like it's highly likely given my PCOS and quite unusual high pain response so far is that I will develop OHSS and could end up in a hospital or at the very least have a very miserable first few months of pregnancy (if I do get pregnant). Of course, he can't be 100% sure of that, but it's a real risk. RE says that the FET success is only slightly lower and that we will only freeze good embies. Both him and DH felt that doing ET right now can bear serious risk to my health. So, we decided to freeze. They will freeze the blast today and then wait till tomorrow to see if the other 3 make it to a good stage. I feel soo very torn about this decision. My gut feeling has been telling me for the last couple of days - "if you do the ET now and get pregnant, you WILL end up in a hospital!" My whole body is screaming to me -"Leave me alone! Let me heal!" And I know it would be much less stress on my body, and hopefully no pain to do a FET. Yet, I feel like a good mother would not have cared so much about possible (not certain) risks to her health and would have gone ahead with the transfer because freezing does cut down chances. I keep thinking that what if I would have been fine? But then I remember how I felt on Friday morning, the day after ER. I had a little bloat a little pain and NOTHING was foretelling of the crippling all consuming exruciating pain I felt that same evening and continued to feel up until Monday :(. DH keeps telling me that I am not the one who made this decision, that it was three of us in that room, and yet... Am I a selfish bad person??? I'm sitting here crying over this. It's soo hard...
