Ladies, I just wanted to say congrats on all the multiples!! They are wonderful. Mine just got home from the NICU and it is hard work but very rewarding! I can not wait until they sleep through the night though...tip: Get sleep now while you can because you will get about MAYBE 3 hours a night once they are here!
Congrats to all!!!

Well everyone, we got great news Friday. After the level II ultrasound and the latest bloodwork, we found out the babies chances of having any kind of chromosome problems was 1 in 10,000! Yay, that is a relief. Also, my gc felt baby b kick, the boy, for the first time today.
Sugabeanzs-Uh......did you say LUCKY to get 3 hours a night?? Well, I must say, it will be worth it. I am so excited! Congratulations on having your little ones home with you!!
Stefanie-Yay for you for graduating to a regular OB! That's a great feeling and it means you movin right along....
Crogers-Emma and Evan sound great together and I like how you were able to fit in family names as well. I would love to do that as well, especially for the middle names.
Literatriz-I vote Elija!

Hi all,
nice checking in during the middle of the week. Good news, everyone!!!!
Crogers, nice to read everything is fine!
Stefanie, it is nice that you are taking it easy now. My peri only recommended yoga - without any "flat in the back" position. What does everyone think/have heard from health professoinals?
Sugabeanz, I have not "threaded' with you but...hey! Congratulations! Your babies are home! Good luck for you all.
Carisa, I am so happy to read that the genetic testing came out as good as possibilities go. We, the IVFrs, are kind of very courageous when it comes to beat the odds. Our hopes are two or three standard deviations above the average. And, for some of us, our rewards are, too. Enjoy the kicks and all the good news your GC shares with you.
My DH is very happy with your vote for Elija! And I have been practiving calling this name out loud - I am loving it!
Kind regards to all of you, Literatriz

Thanks everyone. we went to the OB and got strong heartbeats again, and the heads looked, well, like heads not just a blur. there was a new shape happening. just trying to take it easy.
I am on a business trip and have to carry my laptop and a big notebook w/ me every day. A little nervous about the weight. It's in a back pack..it's probaably 15-17 lbs. i dunno, its more than I was lifting.
By the way, when do you have to start sleeping on your side? I am trying (to get used to it) but always end up on my stomach or back. its about blood flow right?
I was wondering the same thing actually. It's getting a little uncomfortable to sleep on my belly actually, I feel like I'm pushing stuff in at this point. I'm only 11 weeks but all the books are telling me that because I'm carrying twins my uterus is the size of a singleton mom at 17 weeks. I just don't want to squish my babies
Literatriz-I'm glad I could make your DHs day!! That's what I'm here for. Names are really hard. We are having the hardest time. Right now we are thinking of maybe naming our girl Paige, but we are still not sure.
Stefanie-Glad to hear you are beginning to see real babies in your tummy. That point was so exciting for us too. We love looking at the ultrasound pics and analyzing everything. My gestational carrier brings her laptop too on business trips and so far so good. She's 18 weeks though, we will see what happens later on......
Stefanie & Silverangel679-My gc started sleeping in a recliner at night around 15 weeks because she was so uncomfortable. I believe she just bought one of those body pillows and is loving that.

Hi Ladies:
I had a total panic attack today and thought something was wrong, so I went in and had an u/s. Everything looked ok...Baby a' hb was 163 and Baby B hb was 180. I just felt so different, who knows why??
Anyway, still battling with m/s. I am just worn out!
Hope everyone is doing well,
Kim
p.s. I love the name Paige.

Did something happen to make you think something was wrong?
kimmysq-Oh no! Sorry you had a scare! The great news is that the babies are doing well. Those are both great heartbeats, by the way. What happened that made you go to the drs?
Silverangel679-Great middle name you have there!!!! How are you feeling? When is your next ultrasound? My favorite ultrasound so far was the 14 week ultrasound, that was the first time they looked like

I'm out of town on business and started spotting. just a little. and I have a dull low back pain. I know these are not good.
today I am not queasy or have heartburn and I feel like everything is over. Even my boobs feel softer. I can't imagine it just happens like this - monday the heartbeats and sonogram were so strong.
waiting for the doc to call me back. I have been working like crazy here, and decided to take the morning off.

Hey carisa: I'm feeling ok I suppose. The m/s has worn off but i was a little concerned because the little twinges and pulls i've been feeling have also satrted to taper off. No spotting or anything but I'm just not in a goos PMA right now because the first trimester is almost over and time for something bad to happen is runninf out. In other words, if something terrible is going to happen it's only got the next 2 weeks to happen in so I'm really on edge right now. I'm getting ready to head out the door for my next sono now actually. Needless to say I'm a nervous wreck but I'm trying to stay positive. I'll report back this afternoon. Thanks so much for asking by the way and yes, I love my middle name. I love my whole name (Which is Elizabeth Paige) and if it wasn't mine already I would consider naming a girl that. Not to sound concieted or anything....lol
Hey girls, just chicking like I said that I would. Had my ultrasound this after noon and everything still looks great. My worry wart mentality is once again in check...for now. The where moving like crazy again and daddy even said that he saw littles arms moving by the face like the baby had just woken up...lol. I almost cried when he said that.
Besides that I had to have the glucose test done and let me say this much, it was NOT pleasant.
The stuff was horrible tasting and it gave me such a head ache and nervous rush that I was alomst physically sick.
Beware to you all whp have to take it in the future.
Have a great weekend every one and good luck to all.
